Some years ago when my father was dying, I contacted the NPR store to get Pat's album for my father to listen to in bed. They didn't have any in stock, but they gave me another # to try. Imagine my surprise when Pat Donohue answered the phone! He was so nice and shipped the cd direct to my father right away. I will always appreciate his kindness.

Very good to hear the song, in special with Pat playing, a great player. I heard this song for the first time when Pat was playing with Praire Home Companion, Public Radio Program... Really love it. Thanks for posting.

I managed to record the PHC episode this song first aired on with a cassette tape.
And then listened to the cassette until it died.
    Bless you for uploading this.

One of the best PHC songs ever. (Or, is that EVAR?)
    Funny thing, I LOVE Sushi!
    PHC, Prairie Home Companion.
