Ive looked into the CYC x1 PRO gen2 as a possible alternative but im not sure if it would fit or clear the bottom and the frame. I have seen a video of a different frame with a bafang mid drive but its only 2000w and more expensive.
Hub motors are serpaera than midrive they last for years and are faster I serpose its left to the indervidual I'm not sure of the name is it bang fang midrive there rubbish my friend bought one
Another cool ebike build - keep it up! I'm building one using the same frame but went for the DNM forks and an overkill battery :) A couple things I noticed which I thought I'd just point out are to add a washer between the axle nut and the frame to make a more secure connection as the bolt can slip on the paint and come undone more easily. Also (and I've learned this the hard way!) make sure to keep the motor cable far away from the rear disc brake bolts by either tying it back to the frame, making damn sure the bolts are done up tightly and even filing off the top of the bolts a bit. If not they WILL chew through the cable and you'll wish you'd spent a few minutes checking. Anyway rant over, enjoy the build! 😁

What dropout do you have for the rear? Do you recommended building a fat tire version with the 175mm dropout they offer and the fat tire version of the fork? The only issue is finding tires that will handle those speeds.

@@jrpadilla899 I also got myself the regular 12,000w, 72v, 49ah build with all the extras (faster charger, alarm, mirrors w/ blinkers etc.) and managed to negotiate them down to $4k all in, a pretty fair price if I do say so myself for what I will be receiving. I did research for about a month before I pulled the trigger and got it because I wanted to know everything about this bike. I know shit about e-bikes, but if I were you, I would probably consider re-routing the motor wires and also give them a bit more slack outside the enclosure, considering the enclosure part of the bike and rear wheel mounting part of the bike will move independent of each other.
Im doing it differently than I did in the video.it was hard to pay attention to what I was doing with the bike because I was so focussed on filming. The bike is shaping up better now and the next video won’t be me filming my self building the bike. And more about what I did since the last vid, And actually getting to ride the thing.

There generic alibaba tires. Although the quality doesn’t reflect it. I have owned a Suzuki drz 125 and a honda crf100 and I like these tires more than both of theirs. They are really nice.

They are not quite up to par with a bike like mine but you can request them to remove parts to put the price down so you can instead change them with higher quality parts such as the battery and the controller. Believe me it’s not as complicated as it looks. In a few weeks or so I may just tear my bike down again and do a step by step putting it together.

Or you can check out Batman of Spokane’s yt. He has one of the alibaba bikes I’m talking about. And probably a good link somewhere on his channel
Shooting to get at least 10k by the end of this year been growing fast the last few weeks. I expect to hit 1k in a few days. Also my friends are looking to help me ramp up production.
I was copying someone’s build I really liked and went with the 73 because they recommended it. But I might loose the 15 useless pounds of motor in the rear and downsize to the qs205 which makes more sense. But we will see.
With the 72v 42ah - 150a battery that is coming and my 150 amp controller I should get about 17 kw peak. That’s just a guesstimate. So the 273 might not be all that necessary unless I add a extra 10a battery pack in the controller tray. Which should give me more power.
The person I was watching said that 17kw was what he was getting, although his battery is 48 ah which is why I think adding an extra 10amp pack will get you more power. Anyways the 273 will still work. Later on I might just sell it and downsize. At least my setup is not as stupid as the ones on alibaba with the 50 amp controller and the qs273.
I will try to link everything so far by the end of the day. Although I will add the option for the qs205 motor because it’s lighter and makes more sense for this build.
You say things like as you can see but I can't see when looking at the wire mess. Try a cam on a stable stand and really show what you are talking about.
I’m not sure if I’m gonna keep or sell this bike. A really good pair of forks goes for 700 plus’s So I decided to go with some cheap forks that I can always upgrade. They actually aren’t all that bad..
Yeah but build sounds cool. Also it takes some technical experience to put these together and know what parts to buy. Also there is a lot of cutting and drilling holes with power tools so unlike assembling a kit I actually have to know all the steps in my head. and that’s why these take a while to complete right. So I would say it is in between assembly and a build.
I recommend contacting the place that sold it to you or a zero 10x dealer. You can try to buy one from them. They have the connections to the factory so they can get you a stem.
I get it I did not do some things right for this video but that comes down to me just slapping things together for the video. I have had 2 months to fix any mistakes.

@mo money sorry I can’t help. I feel like if the connector has the same amount of wires as the other one in the same order you could probably just troubleshoot it and see what works. With such a low voltage going to the throttle I doubt anything bad could happen.

Sounds good. Top speed is probably 80 miles per hour. But they also probably got that by suspending the motor in air and running it. More like 65 mph.

You can probably go into the controller app and adjust the throttle voltage and that might help you with your one throttle. I have a vid up on that.
