    I think adding a proprietary bolt catch that works with the system is better then using the mil spec clamp method.

    8 years later do you still use these?

      Yep, still on the same lower, although there is a .22lr dedicated upper mated to it now. One downside is that the curved spring for the Redi-Catch that you can see on the close-up of the lower went missing.........I have to get a replacement....

    Does the Redi-Release leave enough room if your running anti-roll pins?

    I recently purchased the ready release. I’ve adjusted that goes around the bolt release twice. It’ll be tight and stay in place for a couple days but it will start sliding up and down the bolt release button again. The screw on the side is tight but it still moves up and down. Any tips to keep it tight and in place? I don’t have the ready catch.

      @@BIG_DUDE82 sounds like either bolt catch or Redi Release out of spec. One thing to try is adding shim to surface of bolt catch so Redi Release can tighten down on it, if you aren't looking to replace parts. Worth experimenting with that to see if a dimension is out of spec, and then consider next steps if that confirms

      @@HariboStarman then those people need to sell their guns and never touch one again! I run bad levers on ALL my ar’s 100,000s of rounds purely when levers never ever even had a close call slipping or pulling the trigger when using it. Others tht do will blame the lever or BIG FINGERS instead of address g the REAL problem… they don’t know how to PROPERLY Handle the firearm and they’re trying to be better then there abilities going fast and fuckn up making a big mistake and missing the lever or pulling the lever back towards them when they should be pushing down. Not a damn thing wrong w the bad lever. Cheap awesome well made smart simple solution to a aggravating and stupid problem!

    Im confused on this now if you didnt want tk drop the mag but wanted to lock your bolt back youll jabe to release the mag no matter what.

    • @DarinCepeda3gun
      @DarinCepeda3gun  Год назад

      That is incorrect. You lock the bolt back the same way in the normal manual of arms and don't have to release the mag at all.

    Do you know if they're gonna make a Gen 2 version for the catch to incorporate KNS anti-rotation pins? I noticed that the Redi-Release is right up/next to the receiver. I would love to buy it but I'd have to resort back to the old pins which would not be great for my expensive trigger.
