He does it in medium mode too, so you got to beat him cheap and tactical too.

I still find it hard to take games off of Round 3 Sagat sometimes, but there are ways to handle him! As shown, there is a Tatsumaki, and it’s done by pressing Z+X, Z+C, or X+C. You can use this to get more corner carry as well as damage (even more than DP), and unless he does an unblockable high kick, you’re safe afterwards regardless of if it was blocked. Your best mid-range neutral tool is standing fierce. It has a decent anti-air range, knocks down for whatever reason, and can be confirmed into Hadoken to make even more safe. Be cautious when you throw it out raw, as if you get caught pressing buttons, you might get DP’d, and infinited, depending on stage position. Your best punish is to confirm Tatsu off of fierce. Though this doesn’t give any real oki, you’ll deal more damage and get more corner carry. Don’t do it too early or too late if it’s a DP punish or you’ll most likely end up in a bad situation. Play around the slow fireballs. If he uses them, turtle and wait for a jump in, then use cr. heavy punch. This is, for some reason invincible to both jump ins and (at the least) the low fireball, and this will give you a chance to confirm it into a full-invincible DP to escape. And whatever you do, do *NOT* get anywhere near the corner. I think 3:30 speaks for itself. Look at that damage! If the AI wanted to, it could’ve infinited and take that round even earlier. Use well timed tatsu punishes to push away/sideswitch. -I put way too much time into this-

Eu analisava os padrões do sagat no 3º round e percebi como derrotá-lo fácil. 1- deixa ele colocar no canto e bloqueie quando ele der um Tiger uppercut. 2- use o tatsumaki senpukyakuu ( Chute giratório) mais longo pra sair do canto e ficar uma distância segura. 3- quando ele ficar saltando para dar chute no ar use o hadouken que vai mais devagar pra atingi-lo 4- quando ele estiver próximo siga os passos 1 e 2. Meu tutorial básico de como derrotar o sagat no round 3 😄✌🏻

Pra ganhar dele no 3º round é só manter a defesa abaixado e depois que ele der o tiger uppercut contra golpear com outro upper. Quando ele se afastar usar o hadoukken e aproveitar pra sugar o life dele que diminui muito lentamente.
