What was truly hilarious is when the dummies land one way but the stooges get up facing the opposite way!!! That kind of comedy seems to be a lost art. Glad they still show them on tv, gets a laugh every time!!
Glad you enjoyed my compilation!
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel funny TV video three stooge
The dummies always crack me up. What's also funny is when after the dummies land on the ground, the stooges position their bodies in place of the dummies then get up.
I know. It's great!
Academy award for best use of dummies in a comedy film.
Yes! Is it too late to nominate them?
LMAOOO! 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 Larry "For a dummy she sure gets around"
The dummies being obvious only adds to the comedy.
Exactly
Right ?? When you're a kid you're watching for it I'd crack up and yell that's phony 🤣🤣🤣
Married With Children followed this same strategy.
Gotta give *_The Dummies_* their *props,* too. 😁
I used to watch the Stooges so much, that I could recite their entire shorts while exercising. I'd do the same while I was in school, too. They kept me smiling and laughing when nobody could guess why. 🙂
I say my favorite lines right before they come up. 😂
@@KoshN That's how memorable they'll always be. ❤️
Ditto!!!!!!1
@@CLOWNBOT00 I have been watching the 3 Stooges all my life, and I am 63 years old, years ago when I met my now wife, see went to the tv guide and said, oh the Stooges are on, do you like them?, right there it was love.
dummies.....props.....pun intended? lol
The Stooges had the best dummies ever-coupled with hilarious sound effects!
The man who worked it had some fun!
No, The Stooges *were* the best dummies ever! Haha
And the mannequins aren’t too bad either. Nyuk nyuk nyuk. 😂
The neck stretching always cracked me up & sound effect(s) for it too!!😂
"My neck you're killing me! My Neeeeeeeeecck!"
Love the neck stretches, and when Shemp would have his foot twisted...
@@davestelling s
Dummies? Why I resemble that remark!
Much better and more effective than CGI.
Actually it's more of the stunt doubles
You have to suspend your disbelief more with CGI. These cuts are so quick, you could miss the dummies. Most of these gags, like falling on your head, a stunt double just can't do.
These are hilarious! The Stooges were so talented, we know but sometimes it just wasn't humanly possible to do some of the things for the short. The Dummies deserve credit too!! 🤪😃
You know... for back then, those were pretty good dummies.
When they all fall out dizzy pilots.
Obvious use of dummies, but it was still well done and enjoyable.
In a way, it actually added to the comedic effect...
That it truly did.
Those stunts can kill even human stuntmen! Hooray for the dummies!!
They really did a great job with those dummies. As a kid, I would never have noticed them.
I thought it was pretty cool how the 2012 movie played tribute to it by having a Dummy Spot in the movie.
3:00 my favorite and funniest moment, especially when larry (dummy) falls on top of the guy.
Man, I almost bruised a rib laughing at this compilation. I've always liked the gorilla tossing around those bad guys as Shemp lies on that desk all tied up and gagged. Ha! Great stuff! Thanks!
So Glad you enjoyed it!
7:54 - these effects were considered groundbreaking at the time! Amazing, huh?
I fall down
Of course, it wasn't a dummy who got hurt in "Pardon My Scotch" (1935). Moe really did break three ribs after falling off that table.
However, Moe was a champ -- he got up after the fall, slapped Larry and Curly, and then fainted. Got it in one take.
The mostly used no stunt doubles.
Then Colimbia edited it to equal one complete take.
Now that's a compilation!
Happy Fourth of July everybody!🇺🇸
BRILLIANT Compilation !!!!
Thank you PRESSUREWORKS. I do appreciate it.
This is great! Most of the dummies and editing was done very well. I remember laughing hard at these moments when was a kid (I still do). I always wondered when someone was going to put something like this together. Thanks Mark!
You bet Ben!! I had a blast putting it together.
Yes ! Thanks Mark !
Thank you for uploading such a great compilation of the dummy scenes! This had to be a lot of work but they were some of my favorite episodes! I love where Shemp falls through the roof! I remember when my son was really young we would watch that and he would keep rewinding it just back to that spot and we would slow it down so we could see the dummy's face when it came crashing through the ceiling onto the TV!!
LOL! Yeah when you go frame by frame on the Shemp scene into the TV Set you can't help but think "Couldn't they find a dummy that at least resembles Shemp?"
My late, younger brother and I used to laugh until we got fussed at, behind these falling dummies
I'm glad I was able to bring some good memories to you Sav.
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel I appreciate it ✊🏽
...Good times
They have been making people laugh since 1939, I still repeat their jokes, over 80 yrs, talk about a shelf life, really is fascinating and incredible when you think about it.
Yes sir👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
True talent
Been waiting for this one!😂The sound effects and dummies were so damn good!😂
Yeah, it was a real hoot to put together
Yea, the sound effects.
Especially the slide whistle when the dummies go for a sail!
What a treasure these boys left us, hu Mark?
A lifetime of chuckles!
Yes, it was their duty to posterior.
'You're crazy , those clothes came off one of the dummies---now no cracks"
"Teddy Hoosevelt?"

Thank you Mark, the Stooges always bring me joy
I grew up with them and watched them before Looney Tunes in Saturday mornings
I"d get up at 6:30 AM just to watch them
The one at 1:13 is just the best. I like how they don’t even scream, it’s just (.....fall.....thud.....)
Which movie was that one?
If you need to learn slapstick and eye poking and pie fights as we know it god bless to the funniest men ever you made my weekend appreciate a good laugh thanks keep the laughs coming after all these years appreciate you guys thanks ! Joe
Hey, Moe! Hey, Larry! Help me, help me!
What Do We Do?
Whatever you think of the Farrelly Brothers homage to the boys, you have to give them kudos for using the original sound effects and carrying on the tradition of hilariously obvious dummies!
My Son and I both fully endorsed the Farrelly Bros. Stooge movie. We felt that it was a very worthy tribute.
Probably the best and only good part in the movie. I just couldn't get past Moe Howard having emotions and feeling guilt. It was actually pretty off setting.
@@digishoon3304sort of but nothing really bad about it
"Love at First Bite" is one of my favorites. First, there's a hesitation in the shadow of the dummies before they land; and the way Shemp lands always cracks me up.
I agree. Even as a kid seeing Shemp land hard in that basin of cement on the dock made be burst out laughing.
Classics. Loved watching them
Those dummies make this stuff the classics they are today. I played back a few of those scenes , especially when they got tossed out of that apartment building over the rent. LOL funny.
Today's CGI couldn't do these scenes justice.😂😂😂
Awesome. This is the collection I’ve been waiting to see, the one I’ve been too lazy to do myself. Bravo and thanks!!!
@fingerjack - You are very welcome. It was a blast to put this together.
Amc needs more clips of the 3 stooges your legacy of laughter still continues on you may be gone but not forgotten the Howard's and fine family would be proud and laughing after all these years later appreciate you knuckleheads keep the laughs coming thanks you guys rock thanks ! Joe
This is fantastic! Great compilation !
So happy that you enjoyed it Vic. Thanks for the props.

Moe and Curly in their Underwear
Thanks for the laugh. Stooges were the best.
You are welcome!
"Hey, What's the matter with YOU??".
Thank you for taking the time. I’m sure this involved patience and time. What a great idea 💡 ❤
Thanks June. It was a labor of love :)
Even through the Stooges took beatings doing their own stunts their dummies took the brunt of it!
The dummies and the stunt men are hilarious. The guy in Disorder in the Court that falls back in the chair that is supposed to be Curly is hilarious.
1:35 LMAO!
Quite an expert assembly, thanks!
Good thing these were dummies... dummy genius 😂😂😂
Just classic comedy at its very best the howards and fine family would be proud and laughing no one close to the 3 stooges your legacy of laughter and slapstick still continues on you are loved by thousands around the world RIP you knuckleheads keep the laughs coming love and appreciate you guys thanks you guys rock way to go can't stop laughing god bless you guys thanks !! ❤❤😂 Joe
Thanks for putting this together, Mark.
I hope those dummies were paid well.
You bet Sergeant Bilko. It was really fun and enjoyable to put together.
I doubt it, considering what the pay was like for the Stooges themselves...
1:26 Scorpion- "GET OVER HERE!!!
6:39 If you look closely you can see a crew member's hand throwing the dummy over the fence.
Thanks for making this. It happened with Al Bundy a few times, too. It never gets old.
So glad you enjoyed it.
1:28 Usually they've been pretty good in continuity in having the actors resume the dummy's landing position. But this one always cracks me up on how abrupt the edit is and they had zero consistency and have Curly sitting upright, perfectly composed.
God bless you knuckleheads keep the laughs coming the howards and fine family would be proud and laughing no one close to the 3 stooges your legacy of laughter still continues on you made my weekend amc needs more clips of you on TV love and appreciate you guys you guys rock still going strong ! Even dummies need dummies.
3:10 This bit 😂You'd never see anything like that nowadays...
8:59 I love that one 😅
"I fall down" 😅
Been watching these guys since the late 60s and still can’t get enough 😅😂😅😂😅of it 👍
The dummies are all part of the experience. Comedy at its finest.
Thank you for this.😂
You are very welcome
Amazing!, Hooray for these stunt dummies😄❤️👍🏽
As Chopper Kane said in "Fright Night" ..."The winner and new champeen...Oscar the Dummy!!" I give this video "5 Eye Pokes" Great job!
Thanks Phil!!!!
For me...5 slaps on the face
Very well done! Every dummy present and accounted for!
Great Job! I wish we had a bio on the stand-in stunt people.
I believe in those days of films no history or credits were given to that craft .
Thanks so much for this one!
You are very welcome.
You forgot Larry's dummy double in "Fuelin' Around" when he falls through the floor/ceiling after he pours the so-called rocket fuel around him. There's also a Curly short you forgot where Curly shoots a dummy with a shotgun (the wrong way,) prompting Larry to exclaim "Hey! You shot that guy," then Moe adds "Yeah! And you killed him, too."
Then after Curly "killed" the dummy, the Stooges had to rush to "bury" it. And it would "grab" the top of Curly's head as he, More and Larry carried it to the graveyard (via of Curly lugging it on his shoulder and over his back.) I forget the actual short's name, but it's terribly funny.
I love dummies!
Love the rubber necks.🤣
"What's the idea of shoving me?!"
"I fall down."
Hilarious. Great compilation, and much appreciated. A couple of comments: 1:53- watch the referee! I forget the guy's name, but he was an old vaudeville pro. 3:00- the Larry dummy on the right (that lands on actor Ned Glass) worked out perfectly. 6:43- Unbelievable editing in post-production! Curly being positioned on his head to match the dummy is amazing; you can watch this one repeatedly..in slo-mo...and it's still astounding. 7:44 - Shemp dummy (on the right--or is it Moe?) always deserves a couple of playback/repeats.
The "Higher than a Kite" scene with Mo'es head caught in the drainage tile is the most grotesque thing in all 190 shorts, I think; it goes on for over 3 minutes. Director Del Lord had really lost his touch by this point. However, if you like this sort of thing, try to find some of Lord's shorts with Andy Clyde, where the hapless old duffer frequently had the crap beat out of him..including a neck-stretching routine (with the same old gorilla) in "All Work and No Pay."
Totally insane.
It's the Shemp dummy. (Non-striped "pants". ).
This really was a hoot to put together.
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel Also love the phony, kicking Donkey legs that propel the Stooges into whatever sort of box that is (that leads to the lower floor). Damn' funny.
@@HassoBenSoba I almost called attention to the "Animal Dummy" in my description, but left it un-said - to see who also caught the "Dual-Dumality" in the scene.
I miss fake dummy gags, the last time I can remember them being used was by Letterman in the 80's
4:47
He’s naked! Lol 😂
My new favorite video on RUclips.
So glad it brought you some laughs.
I've seen a lot worse in more recent movies. Some of those are pretty good cuts.
In the clip from Dizzy Detectives, just how can Moe and Larry mistake a dummy head for Curly?
Can't say, but that scene has always made me bust out laughing.
If you recall, Curly had just been stuck in the prop guillotine, and he dislodged the blade...so naturally....

Well done.
even though it was a remake, the scene in Flagpole Jitters when the Stooges all land on their heads to stop the bank robbery is a new scene and should be on an updated version.

It's interesting how you can see a very obvious cut from the dummies to The Three Stooges just after 0:40. I wouldn't have noticed those things as a kid, and I don't care as an adult. It's no less hilarious!
Put it on Netflix and Hulu and AMC and IFC on TV restored full episodes restored
Who's to be able to find a whole bunch of episodes on Netflix and they were full episodes and now they put them on Amazon Prime and you have to pay! So RUclips is my go-to when I can't get Three Stooges on TV.
Try Dailymotion.com. You can find all of the episodes there in very good quality.
