Larry had sympathy for Curly and Shremp.
He knew there was a 100% chance that he would be poked in both eyes..
Simultaneously..
& still he would utter those slap inducing three words-
"Leave em alone "'
Pow!
yeah i like SHREMP
@@elchoya8770 Me too!👍
*s h r e m p*
And when he tried joining in with Moe, he'd get three more words: "Who you hittin?" (SMACK)
@@TheDUDERulez1
🤣True!
Larry was always my favorite Stooge. The Howard brothers always seem to be everyone's favorites, but Larry Fine was extremely under appreciated.
Yes he was. Love Larry. His expressions after Moe hits him are priceless!!
Larry was critical to the Stooges' success. The ultimate middle man - or middle child. He was the most eccentric Stooge, on and off screen.
He's my favorite directly after Shemp though sometimes it's hard to choose betthe both. 😅
Moe was the bossy eldest child.
Curly was the baby of the three.
And Larry was the beleaguered middle child.
Shemp is the oldest of if including him
It wasn't until I was much older that I truly understood how important Larry was for the comedy of The Three Stooges.
SO TRUE!!! Nobody I mean nobody could of replaced the original Larry, but without him no go on the comedy skit that we all loved to see lots of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!3STOOGES 4EVVERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Larry is my favorite Stooge.
I felt about Shemp how you felt about Larry.
When I was young I would be angry when Curly wasn't in the episode but I came to appreciate the Brilliance of Shemp
Same…his one-liners are legendary
Larry was the ultimate middleman. Absolutely perfect in the Stooges.
Larry is one of the funniest and most skilled "reactive" film comics I've ever seen. Not only that, he was a convincing actor, too. Love him!
@@davidhogan7020yeah, especially in “He Cooked His Goose”. It showed that he could be a really good character actor as he plays a conniving conman.
"I think she's uglier than you are"
"I better have drink I can still see her face"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The weasel face porcupine has always been my favorite stooge.
named my dog after him as a kid
7:06 wild skeleton appeared
7:17 Larry: aaaahhh spooky scary skeleton!
7:20 Larry used dig
7:26 skeleton was confused
I’m getting Pokémon Red and Blue vibes
One's attention is first drawn to Curly. Then to Moe. But eventually it's drawn to Larry where you appreciate this underrated Stooge.
There's a natural progression in the budding Stooge fan... It starts with Curly, then Moe, then Shemp, and finally Larry. ...And then there's the final tier; Emil Sitka.
@@JanetStarChildyeah, I feel like people often overlook the fact that the supporting cast of the stooges were amazing. People like Christine McIntrye, Vernon Dent, Emil Sitka, etc. They were lesser known character actors who knew how to play off the three stooges.
@@TheMadcap919
Oh, most definitely!
Also, Emil Sitka is technically an official 'Stooge', made so by Moe Howard before his death.
I believe Emil's Stooge name is Harry, and he was to stand in for Larry as the middle Stooge (with Moe and Curly-Joe).
Him and Shemp definitely gave Moe a run for his money. 😂
4:58 "I better have another drink; I can still see her face."
😂🤣😂🤣

“Quiet”
Always loved Larry. Great facial expressions & that hair (Moe would say: "come here porcupine!"🤣🤣🤣
How about some wild Muskrat?
The Stooges did their best work some 75-85 years ago. In all that time, they've never been equaled.
Couldn't agree more
Moe:**slaps Larry with brush**
Also Moe: "I'm sorry kid!"
Larry:"WHY DON'T U LOOK WHAT UR DOIN!"
Also Moe again: "I SAID I'M SORRY NOW SHUT UP! **slap him with the brush**
Larry: "Give me back my ring." Girlfriend: "It isn't your ring." Larry: "So sue me." LOL! The Boys are as funny and relevant as ever!
Once you grow up, you realize Larry was the funniest.
"do you know what happens after 6 tequila shots..."
@@dabunnyrabbit2620 😩
100%
All of them are funny.
always my favorite
Nobody and I mean NOBODY could take a slap like Larry!
Larry abuse is a highly underrated part of the Three Stooges act!
You're right! He had a callous on the left side of his face from being slapped over the years.
Hell yeah
He also had a scar from that pen stabbing into his forehead, what a chump...I mean champ
Clonk! Moe says " I'm sorry kid " Larry says " why don't you watch what you're doing" Moe says " I said I'm sorry so shut up"
I especially loved that sequence too!
2:39 Larry’s footwork. It’s so good. 😂
Yes, but take a look at Shemp's footwork. Shemp was really into boxing, and could do some pretty amazing footwork.
Sure! He was a very good dancer and sportif
Larry was a boxer at one time...
He was doing that as a tribute to Shenp too just like Moe had done. Tney did the samein tributeto Curly too. But yea Larry had amazing footwork. 😂
Totally Shemp. Perhaps after Shemp passed 😩
Those 3 blasts to the face after Pappy !! Lmao
He unloaded on him for sure lol
Larry: Mirror mirror on the wall.
Larry: Who is the fairest of them all?
*mirror shattered*
Larry: I break more mirrors that way!
XD
gotta love the curlers in the hair
That killed me 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Once you grow up you realize Larry was the funniest.
Larry was truly a stooge for all seasons.
You missed a great one. One word says it all: "TARANTULA!"
Tarantula? Shot five holes in a divot!
Ill sue you for this!
@@panhead537 Wasted five good slugs in a-
Whenever moe smacks him it’s so damn funny
Notice how good Larry was at not flinching when he knew a slap or pie or something was coming. Try it; it's not easy!
Larry Fine. The Three Stooges would never be if not for him. A funny man through and through.
Very well said.
Poor old Larry, he always took his lumps. The phone booth scene at 4:25 from Scrambled Brains is my favourite Larry scene.
@TrappenWeisseGuy - Gotta say it's up there for me too!
9:10..I think Moe's laugh was very sincere ... maybe Larry invented the phrase at that moment :D
At 2:37 I like how Joe Besser is just standing there like, "Yeah, this is gonna be good."
Larry's Pet Store. "Take a letter Miss Laughdale". "Yes Mr. Larry".
There's a great scene in that one where Larry slips on a golf ball. Forgot about that scene....
Mirror,Mirror on the wall;who’s the fairest of them all !!! The mirror shatters leaving Larry angrily exclaiming:” I break more mirrors that way!!!” Absolutely priceless!!
Larry was slept on with his comedic brilliance out of stooges
My favorite has to be when shemp got his head stuck in a fish bowl and Moe said what did he say 🤣🤣
Then Larry spoke back in gibberish of what Shemp was trying to say and got slapped by Moe 🤣🤣🤣
Can you imagine how great the 1930's were for comedy? You had The Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Marx Brothers, W.C. Fields, The Little Rascals, and more. Amazing.
He waa the most underrated but most appreciated! Larry thanks for the memories!
Larry was through it all, back to the Healy's stooges. Integral loved them all but Curly he was the "BABE" A man who brought happiness to millions, certainly wish he'd had a better end.
Yeah. Such a shame.
LOL: whenever Larry would laugh at something hurting Moe & you know, Larry was in for a world of hurt!!🤣🤣🤣
Larry's little boxing shuffle is just the best. Shemp's boxing routine was classic, but since Larry actually was a boxer, that just made it even better.
These guys were so funny, I still cry laughing when I watch them today.😂 I love these guys.
Love all of them..Larry gets beat up more than anyone..
"Did it hurt to get hurt?"
"Sure it did. Until pay day"
Larry, the underrated Stooge
I would always find it weird how every other character towered over the stooges, but now I know that all those guys were just really freaking short, they were all like 5'3! LOL
Larry was the glue that held the ship together.
Well said.
Please don’t ever delete this video, I love watching this regularly
Never fear. No such plans have ever or ever will exist.
Larry was extremely cute ❤
Corny Casanovas is my favorite episode with Larry Moe and Shemp in 1952. These guys are dating for a young lady, but it turned out to be a same woman and the guys don't like each other.
6:53 Larrys laugh XD
Larry always reminded me of my dad.
now i know whare art garfunkl got his hair style from
Laughed out loud at that one
Stimpy sounds like Larry .
Also Steven wright.
Moe is their leader.
thx Homer!
Larry old on Simpson’s gettin beat up by moe- please moe I don’t wanna do this no more
It was a great fight, Ma. But I lost.
Larry has that fancy footwork ha ha so funny!
The guys acted with some gorgeous women.
Bud Jameson and Vernon dent classic backup actors.
I love that one that comes right the "she loves me part😂😂😂

Larry is so cute and just as hilarious, he’s so under appreciated
Moe:*slap Larry with brush
Also Moe: "I'm sorry kid"
Larry "WHY DON'T LOOKWHAT UR DOIN
Also Moe "I SAID I'M SORRY NOW SHUT UP *slap him with the brush *
There’s a distinct contrast in Larry’s performance between his time with Curley vs. Shemp and Joe.
Larry was the suffering artist and quirky weirdo of the trio in the early days, and more of a romantic. While Moe was the bully and Curly the dope, Larry was the strange and abstract middleman.
He’s a lot more assertive and vocal after Curly’s departure from the act due to Curly’s decline in health. He, Moe, and Shemp were all pretty similar and had equal share in dialogue and slapstick. His screen time was more significant, but I always found him more distinct in the Curly era.
Larry was the best in getting slapped around.
I think the change started in the Curly decline period, when he became the primary foil for Moe's assault. He actually excelled in this role and this continued into the Shemp and Joe years.
And in the Joe and Curly-Joe era, Larry was doing most of the slapstick (with Moe). He was a real trooper.
@@JanetStarChild very true.
What a fine appreciation !
1:27 Larry: what can I do for you moe: this (punch) Larry: OW did you make an mistake moe: yah I hit the wrong eye (punch) Larry:OW!
One of my favorite exchanges. I laugh every time I see that.
What episode is this from?
I can see where they got the voice for ren and stimpy .
Great call.
Fun Fact: Ren's voice comes from Peter Lorre.
Yup!
Billy West
Mark, have you ever read Larry’s autobiography A Stroke of Luck? It’s a collectors item now worth $$$. I got it when it was first available but have long since lost it. The funniest thing about it was it was co-written by James Carone. James was of Italian heritage and had very limited knowledge of grammar and punctuation. It’s hilarious. As I remember, every noun was capitalized and followed by a comma. His writing style was so convoluted it’s amazing that he managed to get Larry’s story across. Many criticized it as horrible and unreadable, but I beg to differ. It’s a gem and I wish I still had it. Stay well.
After Shemp died, they considered the idea of proceeding with just Moe and Larry as The Two Stooges. I think they'd have done just fine... especially without Besser.
You know what they say. Eat, drink, and beat Larry.
Larry at 4:21! 🤣 Especially his expressions changing as those eggs fall on him! "Scrambled Brains" was one of my favorite episodes! 😂
"I need another drink... I can still see her face."
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel😂
Brilliant. A new appreciation for the man.
2:36 "But she loves me!".
i love it when he laughs
It wouldn't have work without Larry, he was the perfect 3rd trio.
Larry's great man one of my favorite stooge
2:38
I noticed something very strange. Larry seemed to give off a “Shemp” mannerism, while Moe kicked his feet off the ground like Curly (but not as frustratingly). I’ve noticed this in other Stooges shorts. Could this be a tribute to Moe’s long since passed brothers?
Yeah they really had to amp it up because they weren't going to get any real physical stuff out of Joe.
Among many , But favorite Larry moment is that goofy smile he does in "Who Done It"
And when he cuts off Moe's toes in "Fueling Around" and says "Oh there they are"
4:44 ROTFLOL!!!
Man I miss the stooges.
In the fight scene from Rust y Romeos Joe is knocked o ut against the wall & Moe & Larry are fighting. In the ori- ginal (He Cooked His Goose) it was Moe & Shemp fighting.
"I can't see, I can't see!"

I grew up on these knuckleheads in 1950s....
We had a TV, other friends didn’t- so we met at my house to watch every episode for at least a year.
XD The funniest knuckleheads ever
Aaaarrrrgggghhhh Larry getting shaved with the straight razor!!
I always laugh as he grunts and snorts just prior to pulling that big brillo ball of chest hair out .
love that swing music at the end.
That is "The Bobcat March" by Bob Crosby and his Bobcats.
6:50. This part took me out when I saw that as a kid. When Moe starts slapping and Larry hat starts to come off.
3 quick ones.
Mark Blair LOL LOL LOL
After shemps passing Larry was responsible for pitching to continue to act as the two stooges which infuriated Harry cohen
I often wonder if Larry had a health meter, how much would it be over the other Stooges since he got hit the most? 🤔 Mind you, Larry was a boxer and could take a hit.
His left cheek was heavily calloused due to all the slaps from Moe's right hand.
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel My mom told me that. I couldn't believe it, but, wow!
Laughed out loud all the way through that - The Three Stooges and Laurel & Hardy are THE BEST classic comedy acts ever!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Indeed. Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Hahahahaha 🤣🤣the baby what a food mess🤣🤣swiss cheese wall🤣😂🤣😂I can't stop laughing great video
As long as there are tormented n' frazzled locks of freshly ripped out red hair and zinging one liners, there will always be a Larry.
You made me so happy on a sad day thank you

My dude Larry minding his own business only to get scared by Jack the Pumpkin King right there.
When Larry was in nursing home after a stroke he was answering fan letters i wish i had known the address i would have kept Larry's letter ✉️ for ever rip Larry fineberg 🙏✌️⭐👍
2:18 Larry's ultimate revenge: kicks Moe in the nuts with both feet! And boy did Moe deserve it!!!
