I remember Moe getting hit on the back of the head with a phone that was thrown at him in one episode. LOL! If any of those things ever happened in real life, they'd be in the ICU unit or dead. But it's the sound effects that REALLY make it funny.

The part you mentioned where that fountain pen got jabbed through Larry’s forehead, after the cut, Moe in fury chased after Jules White. After that, I think he felt a little bad because there were young people present.
At 6:50 is the stunt where Moe didn't fall correctly and broke several ribs. You can see he didn't pull off the stunt fall and landed very hard on that pile of wood. His professionalism was of such a degree that he took a breath, stood up, and then after that slap to finish out the scene, he passed out.
Even without knowing he broke some ribs, Moe obviously took a hell of a fall in this scene. Even Larry and Curly stop doing their usual pratfall overacting.
Oh My...that looked SO painful. Curly was going to help Moe up, but then let Moe finish the scene. Jeez..I can't imagine the immense pain that he was in. Usually, Moe jumps up from all the pratfalls, but this one...nope. They made me laugh alot when I was growing up. My Dad watched them all the time and got me hooked on them, too. Love The Stooges!!
