- Let's face it. We watch The Three Stooges for one reason. The mayhem ! So why not watch JUST that ? I took the "mayhem" from 169 shorts (sorry, 'Woman Haters' I place in a wholly other category, 'Punch Drunks' is ground zero for me; Joe Besser's 16, mostly remakes of far superior fare and the last 5 including the 4 'Fake Shemp' shorts, also remakes) and strung them together. Along the way, certain favorite, non-mayhem moments are included (usually as a prelude to mayhem !) to break it up. This is Part 1. (QUADRA A/V) If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up and spread the word to like minded fans.

The absence of music...the sound effects from all that slapping, eye pokes, bone crunching, stomach drumming, and skull bopping is itself music to the funny bones!

This is brilliant 👍👌😁 and amazing i love them they're funny moe larry curley shemp joe are curley joe rip to them guys gone but not forgotten about with the Lord 🙏 forever amen to all of them i have their episodes on DVDs their comedy shorts will live on forever for yrs to come i been watching them ever since when I was a little child i still watch them today all of them are my favourites.

Have to say, all the kids who went to the Saturday morning club at our local Odeon, in England, cheered the loudest when these guys came on.Brilliant comedy,RIP Guys, and thanks for all that fun.
