Billy is a monster guitar player if you ever seen him live. You know the guy is going to build himself a sweet Axe to play. Great Demo Guys Zach you looked liked you were having fun with that one. lol
I have been playing Reverends for 22 years. They work on every gig, never give me a single trouble. Always getting questions about them. Built and designed by musicians for musicians.
Saw one at GC a few days ago and happy I came across your review on the Z One, great job. It was at the top on the wall so didn't get a chance to play, looks like a perfect fit for me.
I love the idea of Reverend guitars. My only issue is that they use the same neck profile on literally all of their current guitars, and I wish they offered a slightly chunkier option
This is a fantastic demo. It truly seems like because of the routing bass contour and pickups this guitar can do it all from tele sounds to p90 lp special to straight up 335 semi hollow stuff. I almost wonder if i should sell my charger 290 abd my epi 339 to pick this one up and replace them.
Is that a normal teardrop case? I've been looking for a case for my Jazzmaster and everyone I ask says that a Jazzmaster wouldn't fit in the normal tear drop case so I should get the baritone version. I believe that the Billy Corgan Z one is the same scale length so I'm not sure why it wouldn't fit 🤔
That's cool. The finish (black with metallic silver) matches his trademark Mellon Collie era outfit of his black shirt with silver letters and silver pants.
"You can put your weed in there." This guitar seems pretty great. Nice demo, as always. I like a 12" radius, but that narrow nut would probably cause me some problems.
Thank you for the review. If I win the guitar I am going to give away the one I play now. It's just a Peavey Raptor but it makes me happy. That will be the awesome day I truly need
How does this compare with his other signature model which got great reviews can you side by side comparison and see if this Guitar was improved and how it is better than the Original BC-1 or if the Original guitar is better.
@@PlayandTradeGuitars Sorry to contradict you, but Davis is right - $1799. At this price I have to give it a lot of thought. At $1500 I'll probably buy one. EDIT: A-ha! $1800 is the MSRP, Sweetwater selling for $1499 - glad I double checked! Thanks for clarifying Play and Trade Guitars!
I Bought a Reverend Roundhouse sunburst last year from Wildwood I think its an exclusive color for them my question is y’all play every brand there is so all around how does the Reverend stack up against the Gibson’s , Fender’s and other top brand guitars you’ve played
@@zachmikus I appreciate your answer and I hope your channel continues to give honest reviews of guitars within the reach of us amateurs who want the best equipment for the money we spend. I want a Gibson at this point any Gibson but I’m not gonna buy one for the status symbol because I have nobody to impress and don’t have money to burn just to boost my ego. I need bang for buck. Keep do what y’all do best thanks
Got my first reverend a few weeks ago. Special black sparkle double agent OG. Great guitar. The case smelled like fucking shit though can't get the smell away. Smells like an old Halloween mask that a mouse died it and sat in the sun. Wish I didn't spend 200 bucks on it.

Can't wait to rip mine through his old Machina Diezel!!!
Please post a video or something. I would love to hear how this sounds when used in the context of Machina.
@@ryanxiedy absolutely will do!
did you buy one of his diezel amps?
@@aidenmccarthy8209 i did!

Same here - Every Reverend I've owned is a workhorse. Well made guitars.
John frickn' shreds. 🤘 Billy Corgan lives in Chicago too. Billy Corgan guitar collection tour video?!
I have two Reverends. now it looks like I"ll need a third. good demo, thank you.
One gripe I have, with my flatroc, is the sharp fretboard edges. It's not comfortable to play it. Does any of yours have that particular neck issue?
Planning on it being this one! Don’t have a guitar yet! That one is beautiful!
The design on those pickups are sweet
I know right I wish rail hammer would sell them
@@AdaSoom they will at the end of the year, i asked both reverend and railhammer
@@kastle4774 that's awesome I'm definitely putting a pair in one of my teles

I didnt expect the teardown but I do appreciate that. Trying to decide if this will be my next guitar or not.

Just when I thought I was done buying guitars you had to come out with this video
When I saw the blue one I immediately thought of the Jag Stang. This of course looks cleaner and more refined.

I MUST OWN ONE.......ASAP !
My next Reverend will be the Billy Corgan Z-One Signature Guitar

That looks like a great guitar!
Do you think the chambers near the neck pickup also help alleviate neck dive, especially since it has locking tuners?
Thank you for the review dude. Super rad skills and knowledge! Thank you !
Thanks for watching!
great stuff with the fuzz
Bass contour knob is definitely sick
Looks kinda like the Squier '51
Cool guitar!

What is the difference between this Z-One guitar and his BC-1 guitar?
Alder body instead of korina. 2mm thinner neck at the nut. New pickups. They're a bit hotter.

Did you guys the cinematic mode on the new iPhone to film this?
Certain segments yes! Thanks for watching
love it but i dont want to cheat my white bc signature.. yet.
I wish rail hammer would sell those pickups because those are stunning
They said they are by the end of the year.
@@spguitar where did you hear that?
@@AdaSoom It was Ken Haas or the official Reverend page that replied to someone on IG about it.
@@spguitar I just found it thanks for the info. I will definitely have to get those pickups for a tele deluxe build.
well done. thanks!

Cool video- cheers
Whole to add a Rev to my collection
amazing sound!
Would love this
That first play through was a great sound. Is that just straight into the amp, nothing else?
Thanks! Marshall JCM800 profile on a Kemper, no additional pedals just cranked up. You’re hearing the Kemper DI
I want that les Paul so bad
I was super excited about this thing until I saw it was 1800 which is bananas for a Reverend, right? I don’t think I’ve seen one new above 1500
$1499 is the price, thanks for watching

Signal chain is a Kemper JCM 800 profile by M. Britt with the Kemper Big Muff fuzz added, thanks!

I have the original reverend billy corgan, this one looks cool but the finishes are kinda meh
Haven't seen or heard a bad Reverend ever
Gets the newest bc guitar , doesn’t play any pumpkins at all sigh
Due to copyright, I cannot. I hope to show how versatile it is beyond just SP riffs though, which it of course slays. Thanks for watching
Playing through a fuzz tells me nothing about the sound of the guitar. And you didn't mention anything about the Reverend oval neck
"Gonna play this through a JCM800" (says it twice,) then plays a Kemper, LOL!!!!!!!
The white one is better
If I was more into fuzz, I would defenitely think about buying one of these.
Check out the clean tones though! This guitar just seems to do it all. Thanks for watching!
