I'd love to fish here one day. It seems most Big Crucian videos I see are filmed here or the Sutton Carp Syndicate lake in Shropshire. I have been fishing a park lake that holds a few big Crucians instead and pretend I'm fishing one of the more renowned waters. I have so far managed one Crucian of 3lb 14oz and it's the only fish I can remember catching that almost had me in tears of joy on the bank. Tight lines.
Brilliant day ticket fishery Marsh Farm; great staff and good facilities. Those tench can become almost a nuisance on Harris- best tip is probably not to over feed, especially groundbait. Shame there aren’t more fisheries that are “ non carp” and preserve native species.
Fished Marsh Farm a couple of time last year, amazing fishery and it's great to be able to use lighter gear for the Crucians knowing there are no King Carp there to smash you up
Wish I had waters like that around where I live , all you get is match likes full off carp nothing else , it’s hard work trying to find i nice water that’s stocked with tench ,, I suppose it’s the times we live in eh 👍

Lovely litte golden medallion in the end! Here in Estonia its the same thing, this species is quite rare nowadays. Great content, as always!

am i totally wrong but is that method feeder set up as a bolt rig as it looks like it has been pulled into the feeder and not free running

@@thezanzibarbarian5729 you are completely right, but I prefer shorter rods, 9 or 10ft, and if I need to cast longer 12ft.
