I thouht i had heard somewhere that ghost cam tunes can cause valve drop issues. Is there any long term valve train issues?
Not true at all. The cams move all the time with the factory tune from Ford. Manipulating them for choppy idle is nothing outside factory limits.
If you did cam lock outs would it be better what are the benefits of it besides chop I’d like to chop and make good power
No don't lock out the VCT unless you're building an all out high boost/rpm race engine. All the ghost cam is just a cool add on sound.

@@benjaminleemon9199 24 F150s are just like the 24 Mustangs. We can't custom tune them just yet.
@@drpmotorsports2186 yea I keep getting that answer from all the tuners unfortunately, any timeframe on when they'll be cracked and can begin tuning?
@benjaminleemon9199 Unfortunately we're all in the dark when it comes to time frame. The only option people have to spice up 24 F150s and Mustangs is a Whipple Supercharger. We love Whipple products and are a dealer for them. However I cannot understand why Ford only gave access to Whipple for tuning privileges.
Is a 91 octane tune with a ghost tune possible? I live in 🇨🇦 and 91 octane is the highest available octane at 99.9% of all gas stations.

The customers car did have a carbon fiber front skirt on it but not sure of the manufacturer.

HP tuners is working on cracking the ecm in 24s for custom tuning. Once that is accomplished, we will be custom tuning them!

I have heard from different guys that a ghost tune can be hard or hurt the catalytic converter by over riching the fuel parameter. What your thought on that subject. Thanks! Ray.😊
It can be if improperly done. I've improved our ghost cam tunes so that fuel trims stay within normal limits. :)
@@drpmotorsports2186 Excellent so let say at the car show I can let it idle for 2 minute with know cause from the cats. Does it effect the mpg on a long trip, or it is when idling. Any unusual fuel smell when stop at the light . Thanks Ray god be with you.
@sergebasque8460 Two minutes idle will not hurt. Will not effect fuel economy on a trip. No unusual smells.
