Even if noted only briefly, I really appreciate you bringing up the whole "I'm so old at 25!" people. That stuff makes me so mad. Like what happened to life doesn't start til you're 30? Also another banger! I really hope your book comes out soon. I know I'll be reading it non stop once it does!
My thoughts after watching the movie: 1) Miss Pug is the best 2) hear me out. The golfer and the hunter are closeted gays for each other. That's why they both stay in the hotel in the end and drastically change their opinions on each others hobbies (the golfer tries hunting and the hunter tries golfing). Thats also why the girl ends up with Picasso again. Guess when they were spying on each other VERY sensual lessons with her, they just couldn't stay unaffected by it Very fun movie, had a great time watching it with a cup of my finest tea
Mr Bigg's jacket acts like a window through to the tweed waffle dimension. Is there a name for that animation technique? Where the clothing texture remains stationary in relation to the background?
some more swedish furry animation off the top of my head (engsubs may or may not exist): Råttis Flugsoppan Ville och Vilda kanin Binke kan inte flyga Bulten Dagen Bräcks Lillasyster kanin Pelle Svanslös Kalle Stropp & Grodan Boll Bamse
Thanks for the link in the description, I went and watched it after your video and it was great. Miss Mops was wonderful, not nearly enough cute grey-muzzle characters represented in the hobby.
It's really nice to see niche foreign animation like this. I'd love to share some films from my own country as well, but I don't have anything with english subtitles, unfortunately. 😔
9:16 Im guessing the reason is fat old person love story is not something that makes the coinpurse people go "Yes, lets invest in that!" Provided some creator has this idea, they'd have a herculean task of convincing their superiors that this is not only a story worth telling, but they will have to convince the money either A. Its a great ground breaking story that people will be talking about. B. Its somehow a potential profitable venture C. It wont be a significant loss in resources. 1st movie that came to mind was Pixar's Up and i wouldn't call it a old person love story. Had a more pain and loss idea to mind and I think that was probably why a fat old person love story would be give people some remote sense of dread of whats to come. The industry has been comfortable doing away with fat old love in favor of crazy tropes like the 'extreme granny/cool old lady/badas old guy/ super atheletic fatty' tropes which kinda shows how they feel about following a older person with questionable ability. Short answer, I believe its a hard sell from a financial and creative point of view that comes with considerable baggage.
I mean. The English accent doesn't seem too bad. (It certainly is a melding pot of accents... But not too bad) And yeah. That certainly is a spattering of English in there. XD
I recall watching those commercials of the classic Disney movies and ever back then I knew the added gross out humor a was a shameless selling gimmick.
Oh god this is everything I love. A furry movie that's also foreign and quirky. I love mystery pastiches. "The Cheap Detective" and "Murder by death" are favorites. Seeing this makes me wish I had seen it ages ago. All the characters are perfect cultural and genre tropes, down to the villain being overtly German. I gotta see this movie posthaste.
I have not seen this until after you showed the link, but it looks like a Ralf Bakshi version of Ducktales, mixed with Dog City. Speaking of which at least the former is not ageist.
I hope We get a lot of sexy fan art of Bearimore from The Adventures of Corduroy and Mama Narwhal from The New SpongeBob SquarePants episode “In The Mood to Feud”!😂🤣😍😋❤️📺🎶👍🏻
I'm not realy into smoking but I do enjoy a good meal myself. I too am a fellow wolf actualy...though I'm also kind of a hybrid with spider legs coming out of my back. it varries realy because I can shape shift between my human form and spider wolf form. I do have an in between form lacking the pider legs but it's mainly a human esc form with wolf ears and a tail. Also my neck is branded. I hope nonwe of that is off putting. also yeah not a fan of Ageism. I get that the elderly can sometimes cross some lines but the young are realy no better. I find aditude towards anyone's age to be in verry poor taste. and I'm like 34 but even in my teens I frowned upon it.
Loved the Mr. Big part, almost like a Swedish version of the "Go ahead Mister Josturr!" stuff you hear in anime every now and then.
Its from "JoJo part 3: episode 'angsty goth kid's grandfather has a crippling gambling addiction'"
OH! ZAT'S A BASEBOW
I’m sorry, I can’t help but be distracted by your *GORGEOUS* new avatar design!

@@PlushyThieff I had the same thought! So cute!
If you want to check out more Swedish films with anthropomorphic animals, I recommend Pelle Svanslös

As a man from Sweden, I’m surprised to find you reviewing this old gem of a movie! Thank you for this. 😁

6:17 He is a fun boss. 😂😂😂
I love how you describe the dog Stuart at 2:13.
as a fat 35-year old furry, I'd join you up on your soap box, but y'know... my knees.
if thats actually a swedish speaking actor that is some insanely good english
You write horror? Sign me up.
I love this movie! It's really nice too see someone else talk about it.
I enjoy seeing Anthropomorphic media from Around the World. It gives them such A Unique feel.

Any chance you’ll do a review of Animalympics

I like how Mr. Big's suit behaves like Stan's from monkey island.
11:50 I remember seeing the first very advertisement…
Man I don’t like that company
First time I heard of furry tenure ending at age 30. I just turned 30, and I'm getting more involved in my local fur community than I did in my 20s.

Pleeasseee review Meet the Feebles. Its an absolutely wild (gross) ride.
