Used to own its predecessor VT 1100 C2. Arguably one of the best motorbikes ever built! I yearn to buy one again. The sound of the V-twin is just music to my ears.
Snap-On tool dealers sell an aluminum polish that comes in what looks like a metal band-aid can. The stuff is pink and pulls off like cotton. This polish is incredible. I used to it to bring back a set of Centerline wheels that had been let go. They looked like chrome in a very short time. It may make those wheels better then new.
the hyper charger is a good question I would like to know because the intake in under the seat and runs up the backbone of the motorcycle.thats a really custom job if its hooked up.
They did have a few scratches on them :) It all depends on how you get into the turns if you don't like to lay the bike over you are fine, I really like to get into the turns so things happen lol.
Sabres are cold blooded to begin with.. let them warm for a few minutes and they can not be beaten.. awesome bikes! It is ashame they discontinued them.
Where did you get that Chrome piece on the left side of a bike under the passenger pegs. Looks like an engine extender piece or something. It looks awesome. I can't search Google because I don't know what it's called
+ origionaldz I was wondering, if you still have this bike, could you post a new video with the baffles removed so I can here how it sounds, I am considering buying the same bike and want to know what it sounds like without the baffles?
ok..1..I dig the bike. Mines a 2000 and I can't get over the hypercharger on it. I saw the vanes on the intake moving as though it was operational. Is it really working and if it is where did the conversion come from?
@yellowsub666 Thanks. I unfortunately just sold her to make room for the yamaha venture royale 1300 I got a few months ago. I needed money or I would have kept her just to go on local trips with.
My favorite part is when he starts the bike, ya just can’t hear him talk anymore. Gotta love the sound of some solid pipes.

@tac1ems She idles fine once she fully warms up. The idle is a little lower than where it should be.

@terragyamaha I like the wheels too but they don't go with all the chrome LOL I am going to clean them up a bit and see how they come out.
