just started, but wanted to sayt hat a good tip with porta is to just stay entirely still for about ~3 mintues. The cooldown bonus goes away after your first few levels, so if you don't collect any gems, you basically get endgame fire rate. since the waves of enemies are based on time, you can pretty much go 3~4 minutes wihtout moving just killing anythign that spawns nearly instantly. once htey do start being able to survive long enough to get close, you can then run around and grab like 5~8 levels in a few seconds. once you've upgraded enough, you can probably go up through about 5 minutes, netting 10+ levels easy.
