They created the whole Amalgam mini-faction, a weapons series, a frame, the Jupiter secret lab challenges ... then mostly dropped the concept. The Amalgams are the chimeras that this was the prologue for. Edit: NVM. Yeah, that sequencing by DE really didn't help. Just imagine that, between Erra and Maker, you have months and a mini-quest to theorise about Natah/Lotus. Despite the fact that the new story was full of plot-holes, like why would she orchestrate the destruction of the Orokin, if she was their brainwashed slave, DE convinced a big slice of the community to vote to execute her.

It's a real shame that the menu doesn't show up when you first equip Umbra for the quest. That really scared the shit out of me when it went from menu to 'oh FUCK HE'S MOVING!!!'

1:30:10 its not hard to understand, its like samurai. you can use to describe 1 individual, or a group. you play as a tenno operator. so you can be called as both tenno, and operator, because you are both. outsiders will call you tenno or warframe, and those who know you will call you tenno or operator.

The reason why no one talks about the story is because to us veteran Tenno, we want new players to be HIT with all of those emotions the game makes us feel. The public community of Warframe have something of a code of honor not to spoil the plot of the Second Dream and beyond specifically to make the impacts of the twists and emotions really get to newer players. We want them to have their jaws drop and feel the prickle of tears as we felt at those pivotal moments like we did when we first played those quests. Those feelings are enough for those new players who experience it carry on the tradition.

My favorite Quest in the game, glad you enjoyed it. The dialogue and storytelling for this quest is amazing.

Yay Warframe lore :D So wholesome am i right? My idea of how exactly a warframe´s legacy is; At first we had the Experimentations, the Originals born of the Helminth strain, severed from the Infestation-hive-mind. The Priming is the orokin clothing them in theyr taste, polishing them to be "more presentable" is my take. I assume every warframe has gone through similar things as Umbra; each one a memory, a feeling to fuel them so to say. And each of these warframe´s became a strain themselves, theyr genetic code passed down to other´s and cultivated into the ones we produce, inheriting theyr DNA, theyr muscle memory, essentially theyr personality through the Infestation´s ability. In a way everything part of that strain is a part of the same person, carrying on theyr legacy, i find that idea really nice. And upsetting side fact; the description for umbra´s blade, Skiajati explains why signature weapons buff with theyr Frame´s; these weapons are literally grown from theyr own flesh. There is a comic on Yareli in the game, it´s her quest waverider, that´s how you get it. I´m pretty sure Yareli was a weeb in her human life, if the idle´s not enough XD

Important thing to note. Not ALL of the primes are the ORIGINAL warframes. Some logically cannot exist in the main timeline, such as revenant prime. But still do, due to something called Eternalism. Something you’ll become familiar with in upcoming quests. :)

Prime warframes have never been regarded as the original but the showroom model to show off to the emperors to approve a mass production model, they made hundreds of failed warframes models that never got names or a chance to survive.

1:43:19 we do, we just dont spoil things, because a large part of the reason the story works is how its told, and when its told. you need to experience it with as minimal knowledge as possible. ironically, the most important implications you see in the second dream, war withing and the sacrifice are readily avaliable to the player from the moment they enter the orbiter through the codex. its all there. if you look up the codex for ember prime and rhino prime for example.

the best way to describe primes vs base warframes is simply to look at them the same way as gundams. where the primes are like the original RX-78-2, the "ideal model" with its full power, and the base frames are like the GMs, the mass produced version they pumped out with alot of its power, but toned downand more basic design for cheaper(and faster) production.

I usually just lurk on streams, but I wanted to say that you don't need to stress over not understanding things or details from the game. Some people are just unnecessarily rude about it. I've been playing Warframe on and off since 2020 and even I don't understand most of the game lol.

30:40 i mean,y yu got 2 sets each with 2 symbols. and there was only 1 repeating, using logic you would assume it means that the repeating one was in the middle, since its just 3 symbols. so if the first was a 1-5, and the second was a 5-3 it means the code is 1-5-3. all things considered, this is one of the easiest puzzles. it just need you to look at it objectively.

The necramech grind is really not that bad anymore. After a few vaults you'll have almost all the parts you'll need and more that enough standing to buy the rest. Btw, very sorry to heare you are getting hate comments. Sometimes the comunity can be very pusshy over what you "have to do". Some of the things you do may not be the "intended" way to do them but many times nider are the recomendations you recive. There is just no "wrong" way of playing so try to have fun however you may... 💕 Happy new year!🎉

Funny thing about Warframe… all factions that you’ve met so far besides sentiments are human, they’re all genetically modified in some way. Infested too… since they were corpus crewman or grineer lancers… grineer are clones that were slowly but very surely degrading over time. Corpus seems to be the closest to human besides the futuristic technology that they have.
