You are a friend to none since to the so called "everybody" has an enemy to somebody which is also your friend.. So they will be angry at you and it connects until no one becomes ur friend... i truly believe that friendship is not about hanging out all the time. my best friend lives in another state, 3 hours from here and we only get to see each other once a year. yet everytime i needed her, she was there for me, and whenever she needs me as well, im also there for her and im ALWAYS going to be no matter what.
even though there's a geographical distance between us, there's no distance in our friendship, only love.

I’m in a very similar friendship, only my friend lives about 22 hours away! But we do manage to see each other in person at least once a year and even when we’re not physically together I always feel loved and supported by her from afar. Every time we see each other or even just call each other I always leave feeling so filled up with love, and I constantly want to see her again! 💜💜

Same here. One of my closest friends live on the other side of the country from me. But that hasn’t stopped us from being friends for 3 whole years now.
I had a true friend for 29 years. Cancer took that person away. They taught me to be selfless and understanding. Now I want to be that kind of person to all my friends no matter what.
I know that kind of pain all too well! Except I lost this person to suicide. This person taught me to see the good in people as hard as it can be sometimes. But learning to live with that mind set gave me inner peace as well as made me a better version of myself!

This actually made me realise that i need to apricciate my friends more .
My best friend actually saved my life twice ( i almost got hit by a bus twice ( yeah im really unlucky ) ) , that same friend helped me overcome deppression , my other friend always helps me and is always here for me no matter what , and my third friend is the one i shared sooo much laughs and tears with , she protected me from bullies and brought all the best i have in me .
Im trying to be as good friend to them , as they are for me .
They are my shoulders to cry on , and the first people i share anything with.

Ah yes, people so certain of the superiority of their own ideas that they just talk over whoever else is speaking. Can't fricking stand them, myself. If anything, people who are overly loud and prone to interrupt, tend to have less to say than those who are quiet until you speak to them... loudness is the only way they can get people to listen, I suppose. Kind of like how yelling is essentially admitting one cannot win an argument through communication or reasoning alone.

I was actively looking for friends once, then I stopped, and made my relationship with myself first, and I'm so thankful to it, then started hoping that they will appear one day, and I will have to work on it too! I have now noticed that I have a true friend. I met this person 4 or 3 years ago and we are just amazing friends
My friend is rude to me ,always yelling at me in public when I get close to her or try to support her or just try to help her ,if our friend group finish hanging out and everyone goes to their classes since only me and her have the same classes she just straight away walks alone to class and never walks with me or waits, our whole friend group wait for each other in the gate after school if someone didn't come out class early but it's never me if I'm late by one minuite I lost my chance to walk with them home , I'm always left out, no one listens, no one cares, no one supports when I'm down it's just "no matter what you'll be ok dw" and just walk away, I actually never had real friends, cuz I've been like this my whole life since kindergarten.

I can tell I have a few true friends, And this really helped me out on how to find out if they really are, So thank you! I'm going to become a true friend, Thanks from the help from you and your community! This is really fixing my life up, And I'm quite a depressed person. But this helps me out.

I like being friendly. Not just because it produces support for me as well, but also simply because it feels good to make others feel happy. I genuinely care as others need the love just as much as I do.
I've had a lot of people who've wanted to hang out with me again in online gaming lobbies. Though only some of them actually become friends, but when they do, I am definitely more than willing to show the same amount of friendship back. Tbh, I often feel guilty when I can't... I like being friendly, and I want to be the best I can be.
I know I'm not perfect, and I can definitely say that I've made my fair share of mistakes, but it's great when a good connection is formed. ^w^

I have an amazing Story about my best friend:
Because of my Parents, I was depressed and emotionally under pressure my entire Youth. My best friend always gave his best to make it a bit better. Some months ago it was so horrible at Home that I ran away and asked him if I Could sleep over One night and he agreed.
But then, he told his parents about my Situation and they Said I Could stay as Long as I want to.
The Problem was Just, that This wasn‘t really legal, so they Went to the Family Court and adopted Me. Not only my emotionally abuse Finally Ended, but also I Now have a real Family and my best friend is Now somehow my Brother 💪💪

Good news is that most all of these traits I do on a daily basis.
Bad news is none of them actually care. I feel like I'm putting more into a relationship and yet when I need just a simple company when I'm feeling depressed none of them show up.
Just like today when my friend ditched me even though he was the one who called me to hang out in the first place.
Every time I need some emotional support I always get nothing - which only makes me feel more lonely and depressed, almost like life is reassuring me that I don't actually matter.
Thankfully, I find comfort with channels like Psych2Go & Dr. K because even though I can't communicate with them I still feel like I'm being heard and being spoken to.
Ironically enough It's the random people on the internet that feel less like strangers as oppose to my actual friends.

I watched this to figure out if me and my best friend are true friends and we mastered every single one! Like- I'm shocked at how accurate this is for our friendship. It also put a lot more perspective onto a lot of my other friendships.. in any case this really helped me and really got me thinking, so thank you!
I found a best friend through pregnancy and parenthood. She was the girlfriend of a friend of my fiancee, we didn't met often and didn't really talk. But then we became pregnant the exact same time, our daughters are born four days apart. We spend this whole time together, going through the same things, supporting and cheering us unconditionally. I truly love her. :) I don't know, if we would have ever had this, if we didn't have our kids, so I am super grateful we did and have and that this, as a miracle itself, opened the door to this fantastic friendship. This is so perfect.
I wish everyone reading this a true friend that will listen to you and care for you x3! Its hard to find one that truly loves you but it's worth all the effort.
When I met my best friend for the first time I wasn't expecting anything out of our relationship but we just kept talking and were open for the ideas and thoughts of the other one. The thing that I really appreciated whenever we talk is the honesty and trust. It's scary to open up and get vulnerable but if you are with the right person it's the best thing you can do. My best friend and I are both so different, we live miles apart (She's from Africa I'm from Europe), have different believes and religions. I learnt that I shouldn't let differences tear anything apart, it's so beautiful that we live in such a diverse and colorful world ❤❤❤.
All the past wounds that still hurt healed and thanks to her I could move on from my childhood trauma.

I can remember when I first met the person who would eventually become one of my very closest friends.
When I think about it, it’s wild to realize how much he and I have in common.
I think it’s fair to say that my friend and I are almost like brothers now.
Distance really doesn’t matter (he lives in the US, and I live in Canada).
It’s a truly wonderful realization...especially when we’re both Christians, and such an upbringing has given us both the strength to help each other in the darkest hours! ✝️

It always important to have someone who supports you, listen to you and just agree even through they disagree something you said is truth or not. someone who checks on you daily and doesn't badmouth about you regardless of yourself. Someone who motivates you to be better person than you was and are now. He/she sees that you have potential to be the best you can be and successful. Someone who accepts your flaws as long as you rebound and learn from it. All this sounds like my beauitful and intelligent Hondruan wife. I love her so much!
I met one of my true friends over 30 years ago through a mutual acquaintance. Three years later, he moved to Arizona and have remained good friends through the present moment. We communicate via mail and electronic media on a regular basis. BTW, we're both "loner" type guys, so our basic personalities jibe well.

A true friend isn’t always nice to you. We can’t all envision all great friendships to be as perfectly portrayed as we see online. You will argue, you might fight over things, and you will probably end up in drama too, but the most important factor is that you come to a peaceful resolution when something happens. Your friend is human, humans change, humans have emotions, give your friend the support they need. That unless your only friend is a 🐶.

Im watching this video not to find a true friend, but to be one. I truly believe that I’ve found 1 maybe 2 true friends but I need to work on myself so that I don’t loose them. I genuinely like them but i noticed that I do the opposite of what true friends do. I hope to work on these things soon so that I can keep these golden friends.

I think I really needed this video to see if I was bring a true friend. I'm definitely doing my best, and I'm doing all of these things when I can. I would say the hardest part about this is when you are doing all the right things and you are being a good friend, but just because the way life is, maybe they don't feel the need or the interest to put in the same effort for you and they kind of drift away. Because I really want to be their friend and I'm really trying and it kind of makes me sad that it just doesn't work out. But I know that you have to accept it and move on, even if it makes my heart sad.
I'm blessed with an intimate friend. She is more like a mother figure, so I would say our bond and love is more built on Storge (the Greeks used this name to describe the family love and that between a parent and a child). I love her, cherish her and trust her without second thoughts. :) Her concern and love for me is more like that of a mother than a friend. But I'm a part of her, and that's most important. Love her and trough her, her SO like I love my mom and dad, as she is almost 11 years me senior.

@@Xaforn Thanks. We started out as those forever BFF''s or whatever, but I've told her completely openly that I don't want anything but to belong to her, that I can rest with her, totally assured that I need to look no further for love, affection and whatever I need. And it's totally ok. :)
Im 47 years old & have 2 life long true friends. One friendship of 32 years, the other 29 years. I will never give up on those ties. From time to time, we may drift in life. But when we see each other, it’s all love, silliness & joy… it’s a wonderful thing when you realize you have friends that love you completely, warts & all. ❤️.
My best friend lived 4 hours away in another state, we don’t get to see each other as often as we want but try to talk every single day! Secretly, I think they have superhuman abilities 😉. We found each other in the lowest points of our lives and yet it was like we’d always known each other but just hadn’t found each other yet, some call this soulmates but I take it to the next level of twin flames. They’re the best person I’ve ever met ❤️🥰.
Exactly the same as mine, we found each other online when we were also at our lowest point by accident, 5000miles apart, never met, never will, but are always there for each other, unconditionally love & respect each other, never ever had a friend like her, yes twin flames indeed!

True friends totally understand you and your situation, and vice versa. Friendship should be unconditional, no matter where you are, what you are doing..it is a genuine concern and deep love that you for another person. If they are in need, and you have the ability to assist or help, you do so, for it is not even a question.

I have a neighbor whom I became friends with, since our childhood days. I can say he is really a true friend, because he always got my back whenever I want to open up things to him. And he said his day isn't complete without having a little conversation with me. Today I am 17 and he's 19, we're celebrating 13 years of friendship.

Yay! The friend that I've been friends with for 4 years now, and even though the past two years we've been a little farther apart, we still have great contact. Oh another point I just wanted to add about if someone is a true friend: they would respect your thought and ideas on a subject no matter of they do or are against that particular thing.
“True” friend isn’t someone who you knew for years end, isn’t someone who you see every single day, isn’t someone who you talk daily base.
“True” friend is those who are there for you when you need them, there to help you get out from your darkest day, there to give you pat on your back, there to support you, there to feed your soul instead eating them, there to tell you the truth with no hesitation and true friend is people who you never question your loyalty for.
I live across the sea with my two best friends and honestly they’ve been there when i needed someone the most compare to those “friend” i see daily.

You know, I basically have almost all of these, but I have never met anyone who did the same. I had either way friends who don't respect my bounderies, or fake friends. I wonder how it feels like to actually be respected by a friend

Sometimes when she's sad I send her hugs over text and say how much I love her but when I'm sad she just says "oh sorry for responding late but cheer up" and I just get more sad because I would like it if she'd send the save love I give to her back. I have a really good true friend who has all these traits and I'm happy that I do. But I'm afraid our friendship might fade away because next year in school we won't be in the same class and we'll have very different things to study.

I have a one true friend... when I fell in depression nobody knew but her... she freed me from the darkness and made me calm I'm glad she's my BFF. But this year she's homeschooling which broke my heart... she still talks to me and hang it with me with chatting.
Number 6 definitely happened with me and one friend, we were best friends but in kindergarten she switched schools. My dad and her uncle were friends so we saw each other a couple times but my dad stopped hanging out with her uncle so we almost completely lost touch and for the next few years we saw each other like twice in completely random situations. Then on the first day of 5th grade I heard there was a new girl but didn't hear her name, funny enough one of the boys had grown out his hair over the summer and seeing him from behind I thought he was the new girl. I went to my assigned locker and then to my desk and sitting in front of me was another person I didn't recognize but I never saw their face so I decided not to think about it to much. Then a girl in my class walks up to her and says "oh my goodness, [friends name] is that you?" And I'm just like "wait? [Friends name]?" Haha it turns out she had changed from a girly girl to a tomboy since the last time I saw her and since I never saw her face I didn't recognize her! We ended up getting in trouble on the first day cause we were so excited to see each other! Four years later we are still friends.

I feel your pain. I dont know if its my fault, because i tend to hide all my complaints about them due to how sensitive they are about pointing out their mistakes, or how they easily misunderstood things I say and i end up with the silent treatment. I understand that each person has their own bad sides but its just frustrating to always be the one to be understanding all the other party. Urghh

Eternal life in heaven is a free gift from God. No human being deserves it due to his/her good works. We have all sinned and fall short in glory of God(eg.Jesus says if any man looks at woman with lust he has committed adulterly with her in his heart..No man is that pure😅). So how did God give us this free gift🤔? He sent his only begotten son to be betrayed,humiliated ,beaten and die as fine/payment for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Since he is a just God and has to punish sin. All you have to do is humbly repent of all your sins(read the 10 commandments) honestly turn away from them. Believe in/trust that Jesus did that for you. Confess with your mouth that he is your lord and saviour..You will be saved from hell🔥. The holyspirit(his omnipresent spirit) will in dwell within you and convert your cold heart of stone into that of flesh that can truly love God and be a slave of righteousness and not of sin. This might be the last time you read the true gospel of salvation..look around 🔥🔥 the end is nigh. Please don't reject God's gift. Your soul is on the line.Jesus loves you❤

Every point suits my bestie... i met her like 5years ago...i met her accidentally... But the sweetest accident ever in my lyf..Still being with me in my worst and good times... She always cheers me up.... When i am with her i forget every pain i have... She knows me more than my parents know me... And she is the only person i trust the most... I love her a lot... And we says we r each others soulmates.... Like even slightest mood change happens... She can say if i am happy or not and vise versa...We both have came through alot... And we only have each others shoulder to cry on... I am happy that i am still with her...i am happy i have met a true frnd... ❤️

It’s funny how I learn more from Psych2go than my psychology teacher. Psych2go’s explainations are so clear and easy to understand, makes me want to stop going to school and learn with Psych2go.
I just saw this and ALL of them are connected to my best friend. We know each other for eight years but only for one we are truly friend. And when you were talking about the "not true friend" it was instead my other "best friend". We are best friend for eight years but some months ago i felt like it wasn't the same...but now I have someone else and I really can call her my bestie

I feel like my only true friend who actually listens to me and that wouldn't judge me for having different opinions than them is my online friend, which I only talk to sometimes. They live like 30ish hours away from me too so Idk if I'll ever get to meet them in person😕 oh well

I have a group of friends consist 5 people. I gave advices when asked, I cried for ones husband's infidelity, I helped one move apartment which include moving boxes from 3rd floor without lift and cost me my just healed ankle. I prayed for them. I had ones daughters when they visit the country I live, took them places and even sent them to airport. But when we got covid last April, no one helped, no one care, no one asked, they were busy having trip during that holiday. Since then, I distance myself, barely talking to them. Once I poured my heart to one of them about this, about how sad I am, she ignored me not even bothered to respond. Now I know what kind of friends they are but at the same time I grief the lost of our friendship.
Watching this because I want to be the best of the best friends to my best friend.
One thing I definitely want to add my opinion of. They are not your true friend if you and them both find meaning in hurting others. That is a whole different archetype of personality disorder.
