I watched his highlights recently and I was just so impressed with his ability to look like he was fighting the same fight no matter the opponent, yes some people forced him to go for some takedowns and maybe swing a little extra, but overall it looks like the same fight every time, impressive.!

He wanted to get away from the gi competition so first tried wrestling and then became a kickboxer where he went on to become a 30-0 Kickboxing champion. He also is a former Rugby player like Volk. He went to EFC first for his first MMA promotion and then became a double champion in EFC. He then moved on to Polish promotion called KSW and became the champion in KSW before getting into UFC where he has not lost a single fight since his debut. As a matter of fact, last time he lost was in 2018. He has beaten several UFC ranked opponents. Not many people know, he competes in elite level BJJ competitions. He faced the entire Gracier Barra BJJ team and it was 1 vs all of the team. He went one by one through the entire Gracie Barra BJJ team and submitted each and everyone one of them.
