I got to work with him a few times for his Brian Stann camp. He was still playing the heel role a bit and liked to tease and fuck with people, but he was always laughing and always supportive when it mattered. I was a fan of his ever since and screamed at the top of my lungs when he knocked out cockhold.
Michael Bisping also hates his former personality, there are videos of him cringing out of embarrassment by watching his former interviews and press conferences
I definitely hated him in the beginning. If you would've told me back then that I'd end up liking him I would've laughed. But he's more than earned my respect now.
They need to do a Nick and Nate Diaz one for each! Those guys really were superstars for yrs before they ever got any credit for it! And the way Nate always cheered on Nick and kept him in that Octagon just by shouting him out after every fight win or lose. I really would love to hangout with those two…
@@SpyroTek His wins vs losses is still very good, sadly most of his losses were vs juiced guys. He lost to 2-3 guys who never got clocked for steroids, everyone else were cheats. You take that juice away... well that's kinda what happen as soon as it got harder to juice, suddenly bisping became his best.
@@rungeon83 Not only that but he was permanently injured due to a juiced up vitor. I always laugh, when USADA entered, the whole top ten in every division changed.
@@TheSickjitsYeah! It’s fkn crazy! But just look Bisbing wouldn’t have been champ if not for USADA I don’t think unless he got on the juice too! Which he wouldn’t! Just crazy…! Fighting doesn’t help but the juice really fks you up for life once you’ve taken it enough!
This is best episode of this series. Majority of us hated him from TUF, watched his 10 year journey to murder a loud mouth samurai, turned babyface, cheered for him on his last fights going out on his shield. Then find out he was fighting with one eye after he retired. Fucking legend!!!! Bisping is on the Mount Rushmore of MMA.
I’ve watched a lot of these year of the fighters videos, but Michael Bisping’s story, as well as his documentaries are the only ones that make a grown ass man hold back a tear or two Ong 💯 👊
@@r6scrubs126 says the video game nerd…. I mean.. nice try and all.. but everyone says Ong. But then again, you would have to leave your house, and actually have friends to know that soooo I get it. It’s ok. You’ll get there one day.. hopefully.
If you'd have told me the old Bisping would become an analyst, a RUclipsr and a guy who reads out 20 minute ads I would have never believed you. A storied career that's far from finished. 🇬🇧🦁
@Muskeln-kaufende No he's not lmao. I worked with him a few times in his Brian Stann camp. He acted exactly the same way but just a little bit nicer and more supportive. He's a good dude.
I grew up watching Bisping. Not the most complete MMArtist but always came in shape, ready to brawl and had an unbreakable will to win. Long Live The Count
What a career. Earned every bit of it. His fight hype was ALWAYS hilarious and he fought his heart out. Cant beat a cinderella story like this. One of my favourite fighters ever. Thank you!
Relentless. Never back down to a fight, lost to top fighters on roids. Was not the best at anything but very good at everything. Gigantic heart. Props to The Count.
There’re only two fighters I literally teared up for and bisbing was one of them the night he won his title, long journey to the top through the lows of the lows and the highs of the highs you will always have a true fan of me . Love ya brotha thanks for all the inspiration and for all that you are !
I doubted my dad all my life and challenged him everytime but deep down I hoped he'd prove me wrong. And he did more often than not. Love that mofo so much!
how can you not respect this man, was never the most technical or athletic fighter in the world, but in the end became a champion through sheer determination and resilience.
This guy deserves all the respect for what he did and what he does for the sport,he always gives everything for the fans ,hope he stays with UFC forever
There are very few people I absolutely love seeing walk out to that octagon more than Bisping. The man is just great all around. Great fighter, hilarious personality, good on the mic, awesome commentator. I really didn’t know I would grow to like this guy the way I do. All love for The Count.
The most touching part was the messages from your family, that was heart felt. You are a great champ and even better man, hats off to you for your hard work.
Just wanted to say thank you to the man for sharing. His feelings for his family shine through. I hadn't seen this side of him before and it says alot about his character. Great story!
The true Cinderella man. He was once known to be the best fighter to never fight for a belt. His one chance at the end of his career with all the odds stacked against him he won. Also him jumping on the cage looking at Luke in a pile on the ground and yells "Fuck you" before screaming at the crown is the best mma celebration of all time and that moment alone should be in the hall of fame.
From all random clips i've seen of Michael Bisping, I have to respect and say he has a resilient, positive, and straight-shooter personality. Really stand up guy. To have lost his eye, go through so much adversity, and be as positive as he is, a protector, a provider for his family, and so playful with the other fighters, and retaining humor, despite all of it, he is a good man.
This man was an animal. Definitely under appreciated by a fair amount of fans I think. May not be one of the greatest fighters but definitely one of the toughest. Personifies what it means to be a fighter.
Bisbing is a legend and put the uk on the mma map and is uk fans will be forever grateful of the amazing fights that not only he has given us but also the amazing fights we’ve had since ,this guy paved the way for so many others
He is one of the great too...... love his style and his "rage" inside cage. Respect to him for what he did ! 👍👍👍👍👍. And yes Michael....you can be proud about what you did ! Support from Belgium
Major respect to Bisping. I think if he fought still today. Him Vs Strickland would be a dream match but these guys just entered the sport at completely different times.
What an amazing journey and career Mike had.. Genuinely a top fighter who had to work probably harder than others to obtain the skill set to compete at the highest lever for over a decade and the cherry on top he did this and won the title in the hardest organisation in the world with one eye!! Love this ❤️ congrats on a hof career.
Doesn’t matter what anyone says about this man he’s CERTIFIED . A absolute legend , he’s up there with DC in my book . Glad we get him on commentary as well .
Of all the champions over the years, Michael Bisping has the best story championship - coming in on short notice, to a guy that had beat him previously and to win by KO in the FIRST ROUND. Legendary. My favorite champion.
This whole series is amazing, the insights, and emotional responses of these exceptional fighters while revisiting career defining moments, makes every episode the ultimate nostalgia trip for both the subject and viewer alike. Year of the fighter showcases the humanity and character of the people who have made it to the top of a violent, high stakes sport. Good stuff!
Man im such a huge fan of Michael Bisping so sad all these legends are alrdy retired. such a fan of his charakter and his fighting style so much endurence 1 round last round no difference.
My son died July 9th 2013. I was a shitty dad at 18 years old and took that whole situation for granted. It was years later that I realized what I wanted in life and realize I had already had it all and pissed it away carelessly. Since then I’ve been way more of an emotional person and this video made me cheerfully optimistic. I look forward to having type of relationship with my kids. Shit made me tear up out of happiness. When god gives me another opportunity, I will not fail. Thanks for this vid. Makes me wanna try harder 🔥
Bisping is a living LEGEND! May God grant you every good thing and guide you on the right path, all the best of happiness for you and your family. . .Great greetings and happy holidays!
2016 was a great year for me too. My first ever UFC event was Bisping Vs Silva at the O2 arena. And my first ever UFC live PPV was UFC 204 Manchester - thank you Michael. You legend 🏴
So pumped for Michael when he won the title. I watched him compete since the Ultimate Fighter. That was my freshman year of college, sheeesh. So much respect brother. Love his attitude, so confident.
Man UFC has been putting out some serious content. And the coming clean one with dillashaw actually made me like the dude more and am now looking forward to seeing him come back clean. They should do one about the pain and suffering fighters go thru cutting weight
