Bring Trevor in for the next episode so he can talk about his Freebird KOM, what a mad dog! side question: are handlebars a wearable item? I heard that they should be replaced every 2 years?
I just saw a post about some alloy race face bars breaking due to stress, which will happen to alloys. They say every 2-3 years, but it probably depends on how you ride
The Three Stooges strike again...boy you boys are funny! Jeff Pumpkin Latte....Jeff....Really???? Not ride Horses ever? Liam? New light weight Gloves sound great! It's cool hearing you boys speak of riding Sycamore.....When I lived in TO I rode there 3 X/week...Moving up north in 99 i just rode Sycamore this last August, my first time in almost 25 years!...It sure has changed! I carry my bike in my 2018 Tacoma...but I carry it like a Motorcycle....with tie-downs, loading ramp, and such...I find it easy and convenient (plus my eBike weighs 54lbs)..I do not understand how dudes just throw bikes over their Tailgate using Pads....the Lazy man's way for sure!
So, a few things: 1. "Gone the way of the Dodo" - the saying refers to an actual bird (Dodo) that went extinct. No joke. There was a bird named "Dodo". 2. 175 mm cranks are not useless, especially for tall people that must use them instead of riding the next size larger frame. Sure, a rider that uses them will have to look ahead on the trail and anticipate obstacles and work to avoid pedal strikes (so no mindless pedaling). 3. You guys are seriously so young, it's funny: you don't know Greg LeMond? He's only the best American bicycle rider, ever. Way before that other guy from Texas who had the entire world behind him before he cheated. And finally, 4. Best vehicle for cycling trips: Honda Element. Keep up the good work!
Hey everyone thanks for a good video as always. Question what are the riding differences between Revel Rascal and Ranger. Lot of people are making the switch, and unfortunately there are no rentals for revel near me. Also I own a GX build rascal with a pike select and super deluxe shock. I want to upgrade it, do you guys think is worth it? if so will it better to upgrade the charger on the pike or for a bit more and your current sale just bite the bullet and get a pike ultimate. Thank you in advance guys.
Hey Danny! Thanks for tuning in. The Ranger is going to be a more efficient pedaler and will be a tad more lively on more mellow trails. The Rascal will be more capable and more fun on steeper and more technical trails, and is going to be a bit heavier which will play into its ride characteristics on the trail. If you are ever near one of our shops feel free to stop in and take one out for a ride.

Good call on crank length, if Sram came out with 155 Gx cranks and Shimano offered 155 SLX or XT they would sell very well.
Thanks for the loooong crank discussion!
