You guys always talk about Tire Inserts...but my wheels, ENVE say to never run inserts...I have poked a stick or two trough a back tire but no other problems...I just run 20 & 18 lbs Rear & Front and it always seems to work...

As a former LBSE back in the day, I remember one time this triathlete guy came in and he was all this and that and my buddy got tired of nonsense and told him he was a tricrapalete. 3 craps a day. I’ve got a Transition Spur and the pedal bob off the top concerned me on test ride. But as soon as I dialed the shock in for my weight it went away. But it is definitely more sensitive than than a DW link

I just bought an EXT E-Storia for my Stumpy Evo with a Cascade link, and WRP yoke. It's my first coil. I'm not used to going as fast as this can handle. I have to adjust the throw on my brakes to bite faster. It doesn't feel like the same bike especially since I just put a Fox 38 E-Tuned with 10mm more travel. I was going way faster and couldn't slow down fast enough and caught a tree with my right chest and head. Just be careful when dialing in new suspension.

The dude probably is running the Filthy Fifty in San Diego. The race is pretty flat in most areas so definitely run an XC tires and will most likely be extremely dry. You will have two long uphills, so be ready to climb those.

Road and gravel riding is not flat in most of Utah. The vert in Utah is really a lot like Colorado. Most popular routes have a lot of climbing. I've mountain biked in the Boulder area and it's not any steeper than trails in Utah. Parts pf Arizona also have a lot of vert.

But Sram introduces a group set that apart from the cassette you cannot buy aftermarket... where is the serviceability in that.....or every year these companies introduct new standards and make them uncompatable with the old standards meaning in 3-4 years time you cannot service your bike.

I’m a guy who loves the newest gadgets but electronic shifting sucks, it might work a little better, but the reliability is terrible when compared to mechanical shifting.

I run Stans Schrader valves on all my bikes for the last 5 years, and I've never had a single clog.

The cheaper stumpy will have the new S-1000 transmission. At least some of the lower trim models. There may be a bottom tier with mechanical ports though?

How did you fit a 38t on the ARC? I thought 34 or 36 was the max. Are you running a 120mm fork on it?

HOW ABOUT THIS!KEN...BRING BACK 3X10 DERAILLEURS FRONT AND REAR..AND WHILE YOU ARE RUNNING THE COMPANY...Keep making higher end 3X10 derailleurs that are at the level of the XO Series and a step above them for current MANUAL WIRE CONTROLLED EQUIPMENT...wireless bluetooth crap isnt necessarily safer and better than manual cable controlled...IT STILL BRINGS YALL PROFIT KEN.
