Question, I like to run my brake leaver really close to the bar, way more then the usual. I used to run shimano XT 4 piston for years, have just switched to Code RSC’s because they are so adjustable. Do you have any more tips on how to run your brakes close to the bar, or have a brake brand you suggest that stays tight and snaps for a long time? I was recommend Formula brakes. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

It'd be cool to hear a helpful hardcore specific episode on what should be packed for a true mountain bike park trip for the first time. I'm planning to go do a 1st time mountain bike park trip this summer, to Angel Fire. I want to be prepared for real downhill. I'm in Texas and only have Spider Mountain as my only "downhill/enduro" experience. Bring my own bike, Stumpjumper Evo Pro with, WRP yoke, and Cascade link, or rent one for the terrain? What specific pre-ride tune up? What new parts? I'll look at the link but I'd be interested to know what you guys wish you would have brought, where you would gave stayed, camp, resort, hotel?
