I can relate to you since I've lived a similar lifestyle in the late 90's and 2000's. I grew up in the Suburbs of Los Angeles, and spent a lot of time in Hollywood/West Hollywood and Santa Monica ( think the movie A Night at the Roxbury). I was never a big drinker or a party drug user, because I saw how it affected many of my friends at the time. In-field pick up was very difficult at the time, but got some wins. That hardcore playing field was like playing the game in hard mode, but it made me better than the average guy.

That period of your life sounds like it could be called "Fear and Loathing in Manchester."

As a manc it’s good to see you back in town. I also had some party-induced epiphanies back in the day, but that was a long time ago. It can feel impossible to get back in that mindset when you’re living clean, but this is a good reminder you can do it sober. Think I need to get out there again

Believe, make a choice, start to approach women and you develop new identity through the process.

Hacienda has a huge reputation internationally with DJ/House music in the 90's. The Pet Shop Boys remixed the track "Violence" based off the house music beats from Hacienda.

I used to live near Manchester and had a great time in the 80's, f'ing and fighting :) I probably had easily about 200 + fights, some of them epic gang fights around Moss Side and Piccadilly, and the amount of women I had was incredible. Women would literally ask me to F them, and not just tramps, school teachers, therapists, university girls. I moved away from England, partly because I knew it wouldn't end well and I cleaned right up... I'm glad I did, and a lot of my old mates are now gone due to the excesses, but I tell ya, it's fucking boring in comparison. I'm glad I have those memories. Now I live in North American suburbia like a fake person, an undercover football hooligan, not sure how long it'll last.
