Really looking forward to the winner rocking up on day one demanding the team plays their revolutionary 3-4-1-2 with double inverted wing backs, half back, liberio and 2 advanced forwards whilst the dressing room of part time post men and PE teachers who can't string 3 passes together just stare at them blankly.
Don't forget the Segundo Volante....
Bromley are a professional club
Bromley are a professional football club Mr Genius
sorry but Bromley are a professional club and are aiming to get into League 2
"Zlatan doesnt do trials"
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic
My dissapointment was immense when I realised this wasn't about the SnowDome
regardless though, this would be an insane opportunity, hope it really works out so that more clubs might do this in the future!
I know that you're not allowed to apply for it Kev, but I would be well chuffed if you one day managed a real team. I would follow that team in a heartbeat :)
Kev would probably need to do his coaching badges first like the rest of us :(
@tomh6588 Nahh he's too good for coaching badges 🤣
He's fine until he needs to talk to the players.
My mate messaged me at the beginning of the week telling me about this sent a pic of it to me and said I should apply, its not for couldn't be doing all the vlogging type stuff. The only negative I see from clubs if they start to do this on the regular is if a team starts to tumble after they have been employed could be turned into a scape goat rather than players or the manager as they will undoability will be in the lime light a lot after employment. Not trying to put a downer on it as it truly is a fantastic opportunity to who ever gets it just trying to see it from all angles thats all
Julian Nagelsman in real life
This is amazing. I do hope it turns to something great for the winner and inspires other teams to try something like this.
Well the thing is clubs may already be doing this, but we never hear about it because it's not a competition. I've had a quick look into the performance/data analyst role and how to get into it out of curiosity after watching this video and apparently doing an internship or volunteering at a local club (presumably lower league) is a common way for people starting out to get a foot in the door. Obviously if you can get a relevant qualification it may help you out getting into a permeant full time role at a larger club, but you can definitely start out without any qualifications, just don't expect to be a paid performance analyst at a premier league side straight away lol
@@Mallrat83Photography Nice, I suppose I do live in an FM bubble. There probably is more opportunity than we're aware of. I've never really asked my local lower league US team if they'd be interested in a non paid intern doing some analytics for them based on my gaming experience....
This is what true meritocracy looks like
I thought it was gunna be a data analyst job. This is a bit mad but would love to see kev jack Ben and Z compete to see which of them would win.
I'm not gonna enter (although good luck to anyone who does), especially because I'd worry about anyone who offered me a job in actual football 🤣
Can I still get the job if I get the "Championes" achievement in the "Thirsty Suitors" game?
Worth noting, this is only for people in UK and Ireland. Would love to do it after seeing it a few days ago but I'm overseas. Good luck to Bromley and those who apply though
3 titles and 2 cups with Feyenoord in 3 years. A beter man isn't available 🎉
6 months of being ignored by Bromleys manager and earning just above minimum wage to do it sounds like a great time
as Bromley are my local team other than crystal palace would love to see Kev at Hayes Lane for a Bromley home game in the future
You should try for it yourself, I would if I was local or childless.
Kev shame you can’t apply your tactics are second to none
They need to employ someone who knows how to keep an 2 goal lead! Up the Shots!
hated the game yesterday as i coudnt believe they fumbled that
just shout "Encourage!!!". that'll do it 🤣👍
As fun as it sounds, to be frank the job will probably only be available to people that already live near or in London. 13 pounds and hour is quite challenging to make a living of, especially if you are expected to move to one of the most expensive places to live in europe (there is nothing said about the logistics of the move, so you would expect that the burden lies on the shoulders of the winner). Another thing is the job being full-time which basically crosses out any students that would want to take part.
Nevertheless I think it's a great iniciative which there aren't many of. Just a little bit sad that it's realistically available for such a slim part of the people interested.
@@ballas_13 Yeah
Kettering is looking for new manager 😂 go go take the job Kev
Can I click "tackle harder" on every player?
This is amazing but i assume you need to be over 18 and based in the UK to get the job right?
it will be an amazing few moths good luck to all - and another great video kev
Basically just use bromleys current system and make a few tactical changes, make sure you make a video of it, and hopefully you get the job. No point playing a system they don't play as Andy woodman isn't going to like you if you're playing a system the players aren't use too😂
Love this, my local team live like 4 miles from the ground, work even closer, never thought I'd see this 😅😅
How do I get an XBOX gamer tag? I play on PC and already own FM24
All the details are on the Xbox website. You can play on either PC or console, but to enter you need to be playing via Xbox.
I thought of #tomfm
I’m actually doing a bromley save currently
I should apply, little problem. I live in the Netherlands
It's closer to me in the USA. ;)
Can people from USA enter too or it just UK. I admit I’ve never played FM of any kind before
:( PS5 users cant be eligible
You'd need to able to start a full time job in the UK from January.
@@lollujoWell I’m screwed Kev 😂
If I wasn't leaving the country in January I'd have been up for this.
never too late to abandon a Journeyman save
@@sirprintalot lol witty!
internet hotshot kev
13 pound an hour, that's a joke, that's what I would get for working at McDonald's here in Denmark
How much do you expect someone at a non-league football club to be paid?!?
@@lollujo For a 5th tier club I'd expect nothing to be paid and you would be doing it for the fun of it/part time max. A full time job for that wage is basically China child labour wage here in Europe
@@lollujohow do you get photos of players on football manager Bromley dont have it on my FM
That is exactly the type of comment that qualifies someone to work at McDonalds in Denmark.
@@JLNHB Nothing wrong with working at McDonald's, plenty of uni students do so, but if you want it for a full time career, you'd make way more than 13 pound as a manager.
Be interesting if they employ someone who depends on save and restarts or relying on python
It's the Forza Of the FM world
I wouldn't be surprised if some clubs already use something like that python
Clubs have been using analytics for years.
But theirs is a composed science rather than exposing code from a game to show exact results
@@aleks5405 Well I had a quick look up on google about this when I saw the video out of curiosity, and one website suggested learning programming languages such as Python, R and SQL. It said knowing how to use them isn’t as essential as having a good knowledge of football, but they can help you to get more out of the data and create your own visuals, allowing you to present your insights in ways that are attention-grabbing and easy to understand. So it wouldn't surprise me either
Few things.
1. i was hoping to see you doing this yourself, too bad you can't.
2. it doesn't state in your video, and I can't find terms and conditions on the web page, if you got to be in the u.k. or you can win this regardless of your location, you just need to get to the U.K. if you win.
3. I don't know how it is in the U.K. but 13.15 p/h full time would have you living in the streets begging for food in the U.S. so I'm not sure if you need to have some money in the bank before doing this full time for 5 months
4. why only Xbox and not just FM 24, regardless, so people who got this game on steam or whatnot, need to buy it again in order to apply... sounds to me like you do need to spend money in order to get in...
You seem to have missed the fact that this is an Xbox ad.
1. I don’t have time to do a full time job for 5 months!
2. You need to be available to work in the UK from the start of January.
3. It’s significantly above the UK minimum wage.
4. It’s an Xbox campaign. They’re the ones funding it.
@@lollujo till i seen your video, i wasn't aware of that, I just seen this I think it was on their yt channel or website, xbox wasn't mention back then, if you look at your older videos, I actually commented and asked if you going to do it.
anyway, just wondering, what that pay counts as in the U.K.?
is it just enough, living comfy, able to save up money etc..?
just wondering, cause I was thinking of moving away from the u.s. and move to the U.K.
It’s a below average salary, but it’s also an entry level position that doesn’t require any qualifications. It’s roughly equivalent to a starting salary for a teacher or a nurse.
@@lollujo Cool, thx 🙂
1) terrible deal in all aspects
2) who tf plays fm on xbox
3) you may as well advertise a knitting company next, embarrassing
I imagine more people play FM on Xbox than any other platform thanks to Game Pass and it being available on both console and PC. If you know of a good knitting company I can approach, let me know.
1. Why? 2. Thousands of people, but not you. 3. You've only embarrassed yourself with this comment.
Kev, myabe the next time this is offered it might be at MK Dons and then you could apply
