Kante was like 3 players, while mahrez and vardy were like 2 players each. By the number leicester had 15 players versus 11 players all season. They were so special, diamonds in the rough
It’s crazy how people didn’t give Kante a second look until he was with Leicester. He is such a good player, and won so much in the lower leagues and in youth, but was overlooked.
Too bad Kanté left right after. I love him as a Leicester fan but just hate how he was quick to go
Ozaki had an unreal season off the bench for them as well
@@user-zm9xf7mo4p the left back also, christian fuchs i think played a big part. Also CB pairing wes morgan and robert huth were on their top form. Schmeichel was solid as well
another waffling youtube comment
Bro Antony is worth 4 times Leicester city 💀💀💀
Goat Antony 🐐

The title should have been:"How a club destined for relegation won the Premier League." Otherwise, a good video essay.
Definitely a good title! I'll keep it in mind
The title was fine. "Destined for relegation" isn't quite definite.
Nah this one fire moneys a incentive
Prefer his original one

Unfortunately this probably won't happen ever again because the top clubs are just so much richer than freshly promoted clubs
It so happened that in 2015/16. the top clubs and even upper-mid table sides were either underperforming (ie. Chelsea), had injury issues (Man Utd), or were undergoing a transition from old veterans to young players (Arsenal, Man City)
The other thing is that those "cheap" Leicester players just sort of happened. Vardy was struggling with goals the season before, then just started scoring for fun. The slow, mistake prone back four suddenly found confidence to defend aggressively on the front foot. Drinkwater had one hell of a season, never to replicate such performance ever again. Mahrez, Albrighton and Kante found confidence in their weak foot, making them much less predictable. Even the bit part players like Schlupp and Demarai Gray were unstoppable when they did play.
Maybe the Claudio reneri just suited the club. Seems like he was able get Everything right and as soon as he left they could never reached the same level.
Also they had a lot of players who were always quality, but some were always disregarded. Kante was always disregarded due to his very short stature. Kasper Schmeichal being son of Peter schmiechal would have always made it to the top. Jamie Vardy struggled a lot with alcoholism during his youth. These 3 should have already been at the top teams.
Well the same was said back then
However, if it happens again it will be incredible
@@Zahrul3 well, Arsenal were one of Leicester competitors along with City and Spurs. Can't really mentioning despite Costa alone is worth more than the whole Leicester squads (and he's not even top 5 most valuable prem players behind Hazard, Di Maria, KDB, Aguero, Falcao, and Sanchez). And yes both Manchester giants are the most expensive squads in football clubs that season along with Chelsea above 350M.
"Jamie Vardy was signed the previous season for £1M" makes it seem like you're saying he was signed the season before 15/16. I know what you were trying to say here, but I would have made it clear that Vardy came in in 2012, a season and a half before Mahrez.
No
If you listen properly it does make sense this comment is a waste of time
@joelinden1482 Hmm I'm not sure 58 people would agree with you on that.
And if it's a waste of time, may I suggest that you use your time more effectively?
@@boulevard14 there are currently 92 people who have not listened to the audio properly including you
Has a Chelsea fan, being part of the history helping Leicester in that game vs. Spurs is just perfect. Harzard, we miss you so much 🔵
Could you do one on Liverpool's title run in 2019/20? The fact that they won the PL a few months prior to it ending is insane
no
@@sadiq6813 Wasn't asking you :)
hardly a shock title win tho was it? the video would be dull because nobody even gave liverpool a challenge
@@circle2867 It was during Pep's era at Man City, and the fact that Liverpool triumphed during that is a remarkable feat.
@@ThySquidGuy it was because liverpool won their first pl. but as i said, it was a boring season. non of the bigger clubs showed up to even make a challenge. that was probably one of pep's worst seasons with him in charge. the only worse season under pep was his very first season
They didn't just win it, they won it by 10 points! That's nearly 10% more than 2nd. It wasn't even close. This is what makes it more amazing. I was lucky and had a chance to learn a lot from their psychologist at the time. I did a small video on it many years ago. Feel free to check it out 😊
Guardiola joined Man City AFTER Leicester won the league.
So?
@@pranvsharma Incorrect information in the video.
@@boulevard14 He said pre Guardiola
@@boulevard14am I tripping or did he say pre pep?
@@pranvsharma Not to sound cocky but you and I know that if Pep was in the league at that time Leicester's 76pts or even so below 90 wouldn't win the league
And got to the top 8 of the next champions league
Could've gotten top 4
You deserve more views your videos are very good
I appreciate that!
I like how Maguire was in this legendary Leicester team and is worth more than double of the entire team’s transfer value alone afterwards 😂
not rlly, Maguire was playing for Hull city before signing for Leicester season after they won
Maguire wasn’t in Leicester City that time. Do your damned research first before you look like an ass
If you see the whole Leicester squad he wasn't there yet
What a great video keep going bro even you have few subs but the content you make is gold👏🔥
I was so shocked when I saw you only had 2k subs u deserve so much more

Amazing vid keep it up! Glad I found this channel
Such a great video the narrating was also perfect keep it up mate
underated okazaki, fuchs and defenders
Why are all the comments so nitpicky? This is a great video, especially for a channel this size
Good video, you deserve more subs.
Not to sound cocky but you and I know that if Pep was in the league at that time Leicester's 76pts or even so below 90 wouldn't win the league
Enjoyed this a lot.
Great video
Another reason they were able to do it was most of the big teams all underperformed at the same time. Liverpool and City were in transitional periods, Man United were average, Chelsea had a terrible season. Only Tottenham and Arsenal were good.
true
Very professional video, deserves more subs
Rip the owner who was a legend
Greatest football story and maybe greatest ever sporting story!!!!!!
Editing is quality mate, is this after effects?
Well made, I thought this channel had 1m+
Maybe one day :)
vardy leaving a factory to win he premier league should be spoken about so much more to be honest
kane curse in full effect
Love from uk
Shout out to the guy in australia who lost the draw between friends and was made to place his $650 on leicester to win 😂 (every year 12 friends pull names from a hat - now they use app to draw and they bet whatever amount they agree to beforehand on that team)
Any other Leicester fans here
Talksport need to talk about this shit
Ted lasso was a biopic 😮
Almost relegated team had to step up out of nowhere to stop spurs (my team) from winning the league.. wow 👏👏

Second😊
First
Yes you are!
5000 to 1 just sounds fake
Then you remember Leicester cheated the books and got away with it and surprise surprise they done it again and no deductions
Pure luck
Why say city’s name first when you reel off the winners can tell you’re still a kid.
I'm a United supporter and I'm 24 LOL. You're overthinking it matey
There's always one dickhead online calling people 'kid' as an insult, despite not knowing anything about the other person
