Bon soir Monsieur de Griff, it's just as you say: legible, functional, good looking and easy to wear. I think that it's hard to go wrong with this. Greetings from England, Bob 🍻
I saw a comment or 2 or more complaining about the price and now that I can see properly, the details are a message from Seiko; They have stepped up into a new price point with all the expenses on this new details. I think it is awesome. On my hopeful list
I love this watch but the hardlex on mine is terrible. I have a ton of scratches on it in a matter of weeks from very basic activities. Meanwhile I've worn my Seiko Arnie since it's release in all activities from work to travel to daily wear, without scratching it once.
I think if I can find it with a decent discount I may buy it. I have no gmt for now, until maybe one day new gmt master II are available for common people again.
There is also a lovely Prospex gmt, but quite a bit more expensive than this one (but considerably less than the gmt master II). With a bit of patience I think you should be able to find this at a (small) discount at some point 👍
Who cares? Do you hang with lots of people that wear Rolex? At some point every watch out there is a homage of another watch. This watch doesn’t look anything like a Rolex explorer to me. Well done Seiko. I will be picking one of these up.
The braclet is great. What do you want for 400? I paid 300 for mine in Macy's with a bunch of discounts. I think the price is fine especially considering there's a new movement inside it. I have mkne on a rubber marathon strap now. I love it. The only problem I have is that my hardlex has been scratched through basic activities. I have a Seiko Arnie since release and never scratched it even while using it for work as a Trucker.

The Made in Japan model is only available in the US and Japan btw
Great watch, I have it. Let down by a very poor pressed steel clasp that feels cheap. It is a good watch!
Can I swim with it?
I just got this watch. It’s beautiful but i’ve got some kind of buyer remorse because some say it’s a Rolex Explorer 2 replica or “homage”
No the hour markers are much bigger and more legible. Also it’s a 40mm vs 42 mm the new explorer. Also you can say it’s my beater Rolex lol.

Can i wear this watch on world war 3?
Why do Seikos have to be so “fat”
They definitely need to put their watches on a treadmill
And steady with the chips, too Ben...😉
They could benefit from a small diet at times, agreed :-)
Young Jeffrey Williams Larry Martin Michelle
Too bad it is almost 48mm lug to lug
