can’t wait for genting
Uncle, wonder if you can also post the fuel consumption on those Genting runs as well, we can also see the other extreme side of the fuel consumption during uphill spirited drive.
Not much point in that. All FC numbers go out the window on Genting, especially under my hands! Hahaha
That screen on the Dash looks like it's from CX-5 2019 Model
Uncle -- 2.5T 2024 FL owner here. Have you heard of issues w/turbo units consuming more engine oil than usual, especially as the car ages? Wonder if this is a problem faced with this turbo unit too...
No issues here
My cx5 turbo
highway cruising 11-12km/litre.
City 8-9km/litre.
Off the traction control can get more mileage and more responsive throttle
consumption 12.5l/100km, so that is extremely high consumption. I can't believe you spend so much on the car
Uncle YS Khong, which would you recommend for a SUV for a small family, the Mazda CX5 2.5T or the Honda CRV 1.5T? Currently driving Mazda CX5 (2013) 2.5 currently.
If you are happy with the 2.5 non turbo, then you dont need the turbo - since your 2013 unit is 11 years old, and if you like the driving jinba ittai of the Mazda, tue new model has all the newer features you will like.
If you want a change, then you can go for the CRV. Make sure you test both and then choose.
@@YSKhongDriving Uncle YS what do you think about 2.0 NA CX5 vs 2.5 NA CX5 for daily use and occasional 500km ish long distance journeys.
uncle, not much coverage given on the 2.2d. any problem? i would think the fuel efficiency for the diesel model be better then this. yes?
The 2.2 diesel engine is a very good engine, found in CX8 and CX5 too.
your maths very good la uncle..,👍
Hahaha, just rough estimation only, mental math.
Uncle, just an improvement for next video. Please slow down or rather not include any background music at all. Its all good to hear your explanation etc but when combine with the BG music it will make your viewer kinda pissed off. Wish you all the best and very informative indeed!
I would appreciate very much if you can stop playing the back ground music. It's annoying when you do the explanation at the same time😂 love you very much uncle
Noted
I think lower the volume down a bit will do
I like the music
i dont like it..should hear the vroomm not the music
Mazda needs to work on the fuel consumption of their engines. Good video!
Mazdas always have good consumption
Mine city driving clocking averagely 10L/100 km
My CX8 averages 9.6 litres per 100km. 2.5 litre NA. 2 passengers. Pleasant driving. Wondering if you had shut the air con off what the result would have been!?!
We always keep the ac on on all our cars so the results are consistent. Besides I really don't want to be sweating in the car.
@@YSKhongDriving you mentioned Lo is 16C. My old 2019 CX 5 had a Lo temperature of 16C but all my other Mazda's all register 18C as Lo. Strange. My ref Mazda 3, 6, cx30, cx8.
Hi uncle, is this Mazda CX5's fuel consumption good for daily drive..??
Sure!
uncle, can you make a video regarding ranger raptor petrol 3.0 FC? I wanted to buy it but curious is it too thirst for petrol😅
We dont have the vehicle any more. You can get bwtween 8 to 10 km per litre and if you push it, it gets worse
@@YSKhongDriving got it. Thanks, uncle😁
Uncle, does it come with i-Eloop?
Yes it does.
@@YSKhongDriving this stuff is a trouble maker after a while
Hi, I normally don't comment on RUclips clips but i thought I'd give some input here. Uncle Khong the fuel consumption test is not realistic. The drive is mostly highways. There is noway you can get 14km per liter in the city. My cx8 2.5 liters is only able to get 8km per liter for city use (going for school drops, work, junctions, traffic lights, parking car in the basement office bldg, etc
You should do a real-life scenario of daily use in future so consumers can truly assess the fuel consumption of a car.
We test according to the conditions on the roads as we drive on them, without ant edit in the video so that you can see the conditions too. We dont go and get stuck in a traffic jam because that is just senseless. We do the videos to show you what the vehicle can do under the conditions as tested.
can u test drive the cx60 too
Has not been launched here yet. We dont know if it is coming but if it does we will try to get our hands on one.
interesting to see that the honda civic ehev is more than double this efficiency
The ehev is a hybrid.
fuel consumption for Turbo is only good at Highway/cruising, not in slow/city traffic with a lot of stop start.
You are correct
In real world traffic can only average 8.6km/L..
