I like it when games have concepts that never made it into the movies too! The Lion King game had concepts that never made it into the film - a developer explained how the gorilla boss in the game was meant to be a small villain.

the wave based multiplayer battle in the coliseum in the first game, I finished solo once, it wasn't easy but it's doable but a dang hard challenge solo, definitely meant for 4 players

I recently got a copy of the PS3 version of this game! There are also some nice attention to detail, such as Po's body having some impressive jiggle physics to simulate his fatness, which is something you don't see in licensed games today, in addition to his jumping attack changing from spinning fists to a spinning kick as the game progresses! It's clear that Luxoflux was sticking closely with the thematic elements of the movie during this game's development! The downside of the PS3 version is that it doesn't have trophies! (admittedly, this game came out in June 2008, before trophies for PS3 games were conceived, but still) Despite that, this is one licensed game I would TRULY recommend, whether you're a fan of the martial arts genre, Kung Fu Panda, games with anthropomorphic animals, 3D platformers or beat 'em up games!
Another fun fact about Luxoflux; they also developed the obscure True Crime games, which are basically GTA clones! It's funny to go from a GTA clone to a 3D platform/beat 'em up game with anthropomorphic, kung fu fighting animals! You couldn't make that stuff up!

I had a theory about the Wu Sisters as a kid that in the first short Secrets Of The Furious Five, Crane's friend Mayleen would later become Su Wu, leader of the Wu Sisters, I mean you couldn't blame me as a kid for theorizing that, she was the same species of feline, the exact same species of feline, you could argue that Su Wu has a scratch on her eye but you could say she got that injury at some point in her time as a Wu Sister, heck even as she's getting arrested, she could've been injured just to weaken for arrest

    Fun facts:
-The first level with Crane wasn't in the PS2 version (at least I'm pretty sure of that, my copy didn't have it)
-The level with the Gorilla boss at the top of the mountains has a cutscene that changes depending on if you collect the jade tokens I think (I don't remember if they're called that)
-Finally, in the PS2 version and only in that version as far as I know, Po has the same grunting voice clip every time he jumps, but for some reason it's a different grunt every level

7:05 this second is like a smash Bros thing with 8 playable characters my brother and I played this together and we had good times and bad times if I had most wins lol and you're right most of the new cast for the game did well especially Po and every time Po loses or takes damage like set on fire or losing a life we lost our minds on how he sounded neither of us could've breathe he's just as good as Jack Black

I enjoyed the first Kung Fu Panda game as a kid, it was so much fun, had the 360 version growing up but downloaded the PS3 ROM now and I will say the sixaxis controls are fine with panda stumble in fact very fluent, but the sixaxis on Crane's mission is very annoying and hard to control, especially for 100% and hitting all the vultures, if I was just avoiding the vultures then it works perfectly but in terms of hitting them, no, also I looked up footage of the Kung Fu Panda 2 videogame and it's garbage, especially on Kinect, so yeah stick with the first game, the Legendary Warriors game, and Showdown Of Legendary Legends game + DLC

8:48 I've never heard of this and I assumed the legendary shadows for the 360 (Smash Bros style) least that's the sequel I assume you're talking about

I too got the Kung Fu Panda game bundled with LEGO Indiana Jones, I thought it was decent for the most part but I definitely had more fun with the Shrek 2 game on console, I also prefer the Shark Tale video game (on console, never played the PC port) over the Kung Fu Panda game but that's just me personally speaking, I'm not too big on the Shark Tale movie (I don't hate it with a passion, but I don't really like it either) but I actually like the game. As far as Legendary Warriors is concerned, I've never played it so I can't speak on personal experiences, but I'm not a fan of motion controls unless they're minimal or it's a mini-game collection so I'll probably be skipping out on Legendary Warriors on the Wii.

I haven’t seen Kung Fu Panda 4 yet but it looks cool and I have seen the first 3, my opinion Kung Fu Panda 1,2,&3 are all 10/10 movies for me. But I have to say Kung Fu Panda 2 is easily my favorite of them honestly I could give KFP 2 an 11/10. That’s how good it was

I just found out while getting this Wii game to go with the first game on PS3 that there's a recent 4th game, a fighting game called Kung Fu Panda: Showdown Of Legendary Legends, it was on many platforms but it's been delisted along with its DLCs, but you get many fighters including Su Wu, leader of the Wu Sisters from the short film Secrets Of The Masters, many characters from across the franchise at the time, I'm downloading a PS3 rom with DLCs so I can try it, there is a physical copy but no guarantee of DLCs

I grew up on the original game and I say it's the best DreamWorks game of all but I do plan to play a lot of the other DreamWorks games just to be sure, plus I wanted to play most of them anyway, and I heard about the Kung Fu Panda 2 game being the last Kung Fu Panda game for the horrible gameplay and the first having the best gameplay, but a middle game? I didn't hear so I'm listening cause I'm always up for more games to emulate
