A90 Supra Trackday Review | Episode 4 | Thunderhill 3 Mile

For Episode 4 it was time to drive the A90 Supra around the track. I got really lucky, first I won a free track day thanks to ‪@ongridtrack‬ and ‪@aletheiamotorsports9916‬ and then second ‪@naftymedia2064‬ let me take his Supra to Thunderhill. So I really like the A90 Supra and I feel it's a really good do everything car.
This Supra was only slightly modified. I would call it street tuned. Meaning it's more setup for the street. It had a set of wheels and tires, H&R Springs and a Cat-back exhaust. So all the basics.
I found that the H&Rs held the corners and elevation changes of Thunderhill well and they matched up with the set of summer tires that were mounted on some ESR wheels. The car was very balanced overall with the only weak point being with its brakes. The Supra had a set of street pads that weren't aggressive enough for track duty. I found I would get 2-3 hot laps before the brakes would start to get scary. After 2-3 laps there was considerable brake fade, with braking distance increasing and a pedal that wanted to go to the floor. This definitely resulted in slower times having to lift earlier and a less aggressive turn in. But overall this was the only weak point I found the car to have. Where the Supra felt the most impressive was on the straights where it would get through the gears quickly. I would love to get a chance to drive a dedicated track version of this car as I'm sure it would be extremely fast.
Overall I really enjoyed driving the Supra.
The mic messed up a little bit a the beginning but after that it was good.
