I totaly disagree on his interpretation of the Schubert impromptu, but I respect him infinitly. I have his Alkan's concerto grounded in my mind since early 2000. Hamelin is a true musician.
Hamelin's Toccata. He stole the music from Rzewski's Piano Sonata 3rd movement (Agitato). But then again, all of Hamelin's 12 Etudes must be called stolen too haha.

This man is amazing - so profound when he wants to be serious and so witty when he wants to be amusing. No musical jokes here, but lovely music.
