tip- if you make it again (or any type of rolled lasagna) spread the filling about 3/4 the way down the noodle. When you roll it you will have layers of filling between the noodles. Keeps the noodles from sticking together and makes it more lasagna like.
Your bechamel looks perfect! Tips for next time: make sure that the spinach is squeezed dry after thawing, put the 1/3 c of filling along the whole length of the lasagna noodle before rolling. Looks good!
Funny thing, lately I've been asking myself, where's Dave? I haven't seen a video from Dave. Now I know why. These lasagna rolls look delicious but I did not hear the word "deliciosity" today. Did I miss it? Keep the cooking content coming. I love it!
Looks good..i might have to try this recipe. Also, I think you were probably supposed to cover the entire noodle with the mixture before rolling...haha.
Next time you make this, spread your spinach mixture over the entire length of the noodle then roll it up. That's why you had so much filing leftover. Looks delicious. That looks like that would be delicious is you added taco meat and less spinach
My goodness! I love that you stuck to it but wow made that dish way harder than it had to be. I make my own noodles and ricotta if interested let me know
Hi David, I noticed when you cook any kind of noodles you close the heat and let the noodles sit in hot water way too long. It still cooking which over cooks noodles, spaghetti or pastas Which in Italian we call svata. Cooked to long mush. Friendly advice. 😊❤. Your end result looks delicious. Enjoy❤😊
Our thoughts for the day. You need a big boy whip so you don't get burnt. Forks: utensils for eating. A few wooden spoons will help your prep work. I yelled NOoooo when you dumped undrained spinach into cheese mix. Also toasting pine nuts as suggested will give a better taste.
David you are a train wreck but in a good fun way. I always watch your kitchen videos because you make me smile. In the end what you make looks really good 😊😊❤❤
Good job Dave. Looks delicious. I think if you pre measure all your ingredients in advance then you wouldn't have that mistake but it probably worked even though you added too much cheese. And frozen spinach doesn't need to be rinsed. I know it looked good and you wanted to try it but you should have waited a little bit to eat it, cheese is very hot and it always burns.
I think maybe the reason that you had leftover ingredients despite the extra cheese is because it intended you to trim the lasagna noodles to really only roll around the ingredients the same way you would for fresh pasta with manicotti “ cannelloni”. You would then have had a lot of extra noodles as it probably would’ve only taken half a length of lasagna noodle noodle for each bundle.
Hey what's up with the bag of pine nuts that you didn't use. Ahh there they are need to mix it in or cook em. Next time squeeze out the spinach also your rolls were underfilled. Other than that looks yummy
Hey Dave, love this along with the others (adhdave).. spend some money on larger sturring spoons. Trying to sell the wife helping. She left half way. Now i am left to myself. Still love. #marrymechicken #pestolasagna
World disaster. Come on man. Must be making too many cooks at a time for video. Remember it is tax season. Simple is better than quanity. Same tax right off.

I absolutely love your videos, please don't change

Looks good!
Yes squeeze the spinach. Lol

Nice vintage Pyrex Americana print! ..recipe looks good too 😋
Dave, you do know that besides basil, pine nuts are the main ingredient in pesto.
Chef you did proud! Really needed this giggle today thanks.
Thank you for fighting through the obstacles to make this dish. U inspire me
You need to squeeze all the liquid out of the spinach before adding it to the Ricotta. Looks delicious!!
You live in Fl. Grow your own herbs. Very easy. Love your shows.
Looks delicious

Good Job Dave!!!! It all came together in the end,
Thanks for the laughs! Love your videos! I would spread the filling the full length of the noodles, then roll them 😊

I'm going to give this a try, most definitely! Thank you!
Rarely does too much cheese ruin any dish! ❤
Looks beautiful 🤤

I like your videos. We are so alike!!
Use all that filling in a traditional lasagna, maybe a meat layer, red sauce layer, and extra filling, with more noodles!

Looks good but i would have browned the top more
Dave, you have a lot of spinach cheese sauce left, make more lasagna noodles and do double the rolls or freeze some!😊
Great you list the ingredients. Now - how about listing the directions, please.
Oh dear, I love watching, as always, but the scraping noise of the fork is making me nuts. May i suggest a wooden spoon?
That's how I cut butter, seems like the right way to do it to me, lol.

What about the pine nuts on the counter that you ignored?
It is one of the mother sauces... a cheese sauce.
A white sauce with nutmeg.... you start with this to make cheese sauce.........

If u could avoid using a metal fork, the sound of scratching on the bowl sounds like nails on a chalkboard 🙉
I know what I'm cooking next :)
The noodles will continue to cook until you rinse in cold water.
You definitely under stuffed the noodle rolls
In my humble, lactose intolerant opinion, you can never have too much cheese. Though my stomach disagrees. 🤷🏻♀️
No more naked left window. ❤😮
Ya killing me! Please learn some basic skills. Don’t have to be a pro from dang!!
