They look awesome, only thing missing is extra consomme for dipping.

Dave I absolutely give you huge props for the recipes you make. Haters are going to hate. Ignore them. For a home cook as you are. You try some recipes that even the novice cooks wouldn’t attempt. I am so impressed. You keep saying you’re not a cook. I say YOU ARE. Don’t sell yourself short. I might have changed a cpl things up to suit me. But keep ‘em coming. Great job. Can’t wait to try them

Dave, I love your channel. I've loved cooking my whole life and your willingness to throw yourself out there and admit that half the time you don't know what the hell you're doing is awesome. I've made many of your recipes and they have been excellent. On a side note, I became a quadriplegic 3 years ago and I still grocery shop and cook almost daily. The speed at which you do your videos actually helps me. Trust me, as a quad it takes me twice as long to do everything in the kitchen, but I love putting a good meal on the table for my wife, just like you do for your family. Cheers

I really enjoy watching you cook Dave. Partly because I can tell you love doing it and partly because you are so casual about it. This recipe sounds and looks delicious!

This was a 2 for 1. Delicious recipe and a foreign language lesson! I like the industrial looking man apron. It's for meals with heavier ingredients.

I am so going to try these! I love your channel. I just started watching a couple of weeks ago, I live In Denmark (from Chicao, but living here with my Danish husband for 18 years now), so you definitely made yourself global! RUclips recommended you and I have been watching all previous videos too. Love this fun channel with cool recipes and just a cool and fun vibe!

Did you cover the pot while you were simmering the meat? If you did not then that could be why you are running out of liquid. If you don’t cover the pot, then the liquid evaporates and reduces. You can just add a little bit of water at the end, if you need some more liquid to keep boiling.

You're right about birria tacos in saying that the beef roast is sufficient without using short ribs. HOWEVER, birria tacos without the consomme (broth) for dipping is not acceptable. Your demo is easy to follow, tyvm.

You could add a little water, if you don't have beef broth.

They look amazing and delicious. 'Dave, we know you stink and we're just gonna let you stink and do your little thing here'. That's funny, but it's a bunch of crap. You are a non-pro showing us common folk how to make some food that is not from freakin door dash or whatever. AND it's entertaining. Don't underestimate what you're doing on this channel. Some of us appreciate it. Cheers from Canada.

Dave! These look AMAZING! There is a small family owned restaurant in my city that makes these and they are the bomb! I’ll be making them with your recipe but will likely use only chuck roast because after marinating the roast then braising it, I doubt I’d notice the lack of short ribs. You are hilarious and I love your recipes and humor. PS, I have no clue how to pronounce Burria either but I know it tastes fantastic.

Did you cook the meat with the lid on? That will help keep the liquid from evaporating.

10:12 Dave, I’m new to your channel. The recipe looks really good and I’m going to try it. However, the recipe doesn’t go into quite the detail as you do in the video. How many Bay Leaves do you need to put in? It looks like you added 2. Also, the recipe doesn’t mention soaking the chilis or cooking them until fragrant first. Anyway, I’m liking the content so far.

cinnamon is common in mexican-am dishes. There''s some in my mexican blend spices.
Agave is healthy, maple isn't and the taste is different.
You can add some extra water in your consume, Or wine.
I've nver had it but now I want to.
Have you don't korean ribs or chicken?
