Coriander is cilantro. It is the seeds, I know, I didn't know until I moved to Denmark, then I was looking for cilantro, found out it is the same. However, they tend to taste different from fresh leaves and seeds. I use both, when doing a "rub" then crushed or smashed seeds, if I make fresh stuff, then I use fresh leaves. I love your channel, you make me laugh, I feel the same as you in the kitchen! Thank you for all you do :)
Hi Dave! I made this last night. I didn't have balsamic, but I had balsamic salad dressing with honey, so I used that instead. It was delicious! My husband said your recipes are consistently good and he asked me if I have been telling you all the recipes I have made, so here is me telling you: Mac n Cheese and Marry Me Steak..... I love making these dishes on the Stove top, it gives another level flavor!
David don’t down yourself, you do fine cooking and the more you cook meals you continue to grow and you will continue to do just fine. And you are funny❤😊😊
I actually love where you are going with this. No! It doesn’t matter how a cook at home cuts their veggies at first, just as long as they get the “same size chop , slice, or mince), and that doesn’t matter completely…. You’re a genius! Really love your content ❤️
If you do nit like balsamic vinegar you can try this. For every 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar, substitute 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar or red wine vinegar plus ½ tsp. sugar.
Dave, your chicken will still continue to cook when you take it off the heat. You can actually take it off around 160-162 degrees. Thanks again for another great recipe!!
Wow, that looks so good. I love balsamic vinegar, too. Re the liquid, you did good adding more of both the chicken broth and balsamic. Using a lid would have kept more liquid in the dish vice it evaporating away. Also, using a plastic cutting board will dull knives quickly. A wood cutting board is best. You can "butterfly" a chicken breast to make it a more even thickness so it will cook quicker or put plastic wrap over the chicken breast and pound it flat before cooking it. Anyway, thanks for a new chicken recipe. I can't wait to make this dish!
Love watching you, it’s like your life is like an I Love Lucy episode sometimes just like mine! 😋 Where are you? You spoke of rain today (4 months ago). If you’re ever in Southern Oregon please come and use my kitchen. PS I’ve ordered a mini waffle maker and I now have cottage cheese in my fridge because of you.
We have an international market in Fairfield,OH called Jungle Jim’s it is the best place to buy produce and meat. People come from all over to shop there.
Dave, I tried your marry me chicken and it was fantastic. I am going to make this dish next week. I love Publix but they tend to be on the pricey side. We have a local market called Detwiler's (Palmetto, Fl) and their prices are very good. And I love the rain 🙂
Cherry tomatoes are round and have a more tender skin. Grape tomatoes are elongated and have a tougher skin. I prefer cherry tomatoes and drive farther to get them.
I am in Ohio and I dont get a lot of produce from Walmart. My BF and I usually go to giant eagle for the bulk of our produce. Although the produce we do get from our local walmart hasn't been bad. Although trying to find ripe avocados is like pulling teeth.
I peal the bad part of an onion when that happens. I don't have a publix, I have Winn-Dixie and Aldis. I get a mix from them lol. Aldis is furthest away but they have great fruits. Bulk I like walmart becuase the price can't be beat. I don't like balsamic, I won't be trying this one. Though you could probably sub teriyaki, or other oriental sauces
Walmart has absolutely the worst vegetables you can purchase there, always old wilted and rotting. I live in Northern California in San Joaquin county the fruit basket or should I say food basket of the world and our Walmart has the absolute worst produce.😂 my favorite place to get produce is from a little Mexican market. They always have the freshest vegetables and never go wrong with a little Mexican market if not Safeway or Raleys in California..❤❤❤
Dave you should try Aldi's frozen Tombstone knockoff pizzas. Think they are Mama Mia branded and last time I checked they were $2.29 (1 year ago) They blow tombstone out of the water and probably one of the best frozen pizza I have had. Also I believe the tomatoes you were using were grape tomatoes since they are oval shaped. Cherry tomatoes are round. "Grape tomatoes are oblong and shaped like grapes. They're about half the size of cherry tomatoes, with thicker skins. Grape tomatoes aren't as sweet as cherry tomatoes, and their flesh is meatier and less watery" - Google
I hate balsamic vinegar (tastes like three year old socks stuck in a gym locker - not my personal review of it...but someone who was actually forced in a gym locker gagged by same socks said it)...but I make a killer Worcestershire sauce (by doubling the amount of anchovies in the original recipe)...
I hate Walmart produce too, prefer Aldi. Can't wait to try this dish! Love watching your videos, you make me laugh!

Cook those veggies in butter and you could totally add cream to make this sauce creamy! Looks good!
Love your apron! You are a hoot! This one looks really good!
This looks delicious. So different from marry me chicken. Completely different. Can’t compare!😊

Oh another one to try. ❤ I love balsamic vinegar also.
In Texas it would be HEB
Omg, you crack me up 😂
My husband says, Cilantro tastes like stink bugs!🤣
Has he tried the stink bugs lately?? 😂

In season I go to the Minanite's Market. The rest my local Foodland Grocer
Reminds me Bangladeshi which sometimes is made with eggs instead of chicken
I shop at Publix for my produce
You had me till cilantro eeeeewwww

Coriander is the seeds of what becomes cilantro
I peal the bad part of an onion when that happens.

Another great video. All bow down before our future AI overlords!!
Instead of celantro add parsley instead!❤😊
Every herb and spice in powder form then add fresh garlic to the mix. Something I would do.
i'm in Canada. i get my veg @ superstore most of the time. safeway if i'm in a hurry.
Almost anywhere but walmart.
You so funny!!!!!!
I wonder what Cooking show Dave could actually be good in. Like I think he would be too soft for Hells Kitchen lol
Hi Dave, I'm not sure where the recipe is...below where?
🔗 Check out the full recipe and more in the description below!
Farmers market
I’m going to blow your mind and add they also have pear tomatoes 😂
Balsamic is better than creamy any day !!!
Aldi but you have to watch produce there......
Dave please clean the chicken, please❤😊
Nuts. I don't see the recipe anywhere. Am I blind? Looks like a fab recipe but need the instructions. Help?
I'm sorry. Where is the recipe?
Bless him he always forgets to add reciepe 😢😢😢
Yep, time to trust your gut😂😂😂
LOCAL farmers market. for veggies

walmart has a lot of bad veggies
Aldi veg is good, they just don't have everything.
You need a garlic mincer. You only chopped the garlic
I'm to picky about my fruit and vegetables to let someone else pick them out
MINCED GARLIC...you chopped. There is a difference. And 2 more pieces of chicken would add more to the flavor and sauce
Cilantro, I’m out. Don’t like soap in my food😮😊
