Definitely a difference between RUclips and social media detailers, and those who are out in the field everyday actually doing the work, dealing with different customer personalities, weather and so on.

10 years ago we were putting coatings on the cars at the dealership in the parking lot for like $15 an hour lol

i done one ceramic coating out side last summer dont get me wrong it would of been easier in garage or in studio but not every one has one it is doable 👍

Do you not offer it when it’s a day that’s not overcast? Like in direct sunlight? Everything I see is to not apply it in direct sunlight but I see mobile detailers offering it all the time.

I was thinking of getting into lawn care as well while doing mobile detailing. I got that idea from you also by seeing it’s less friction then the details of washing a car I know it’s still hard work.

I’ve always wanted to ceramic coat my jeep but I’m told that you can ceramic coat a car outside so I’ve never done it. Also have a client that did do it outside and now he has leave patterns on his hood of a maybach lol smh
He more than likely applied unevenly
@@AAProfessionalServices they applied it outside of his house , the guy has trees all over the place and the patterns look like leaves , I told him he has to redo the hood again to be able to take those marks off
Half of the coatings I did before I got my shop was outside. It can be done. It would be ideal, but we don't have that when we are mobile.

How do you maintain a ceramic coated car ?
Wash it and apply ceramic spray coating periodically. Don’t apply wax or sealant

It will be very easy to clean. It will repel dirt and water.
Apply it on a black car and you will see high spots when applied outside…
