I was at this concert in Clearwater! My first Zebra concert made this 61-year-old-very happy! I was in the 4th row and had a great view. Looks like you were pretty close to the stage too. Thanks for recording this!
@@ChuckH239 Hey Chuck, my pleasure buddy! That’s what this channel is all about. From my first stereo I started recording albums then mixed tapes etc…. So far I’ve taken everything you see. I’m hoping maybe that changes and others start posting. Stay tuned I have a bunch more from that night. We were just in front of you in 2nd. First time I ever got a pick lol
@@djbobstar That's awesome! I saw Randy throw out only a couple picks all night, and I'm glad you got one! I'm so glad I found your RUclips page! Thanks again for your videos!!!
I'm from Long Island. Saw Zebra at Stony Brook University in 1985. Still got a pick from Felix that night. Also saw them at Sundance and a song was included on the Zebra Live album that night. Was also at the Zebra show with brand new opening band Dream Theater and they fired their singer for repeatedly yelling "Scream fir me Long Beach!" Ala. Bruce Dickinson Iron Maiden Live after Death album.
@@robertfisher4689 Hey Robert, Plainedge HS class of 87’. I was at Stonybrook show, can’t remember what year but I do remember Sundance ( also saw Iron Butterfly and BOC there). I also remember seeing them at NCC and Spit. Good times!!
@djbobstar i went to Sachem (87) and live righ up Nichols road from the University. They played with Rough Cutt at that show. Still have the Stub. Have dozens from Sundance as well. " scream fir me long beach show is on RUclips. My stepfather used to deliver Patruccis main in St. James. The best of times brother and we were in the right place at the right time. I've already found my teenage self in several bootleg videos now posted on RUclips
@@robertfisher4689 awesome! It’s great you kept them all! I went to so many shows back then unfortunatly I treated like a movie ticket and threw away for a while. But your right between all the local places then Nassau Colliseum, MSG, Meadowlands all the stadiums it is crazy how many concerts we saw. And so much more affordable. First show Billy Squire and Def Leppard was like $12
Really appreciate you taking a moment to comment. I don't know if you listened to these guys back in the 80's but he killed it on the Zeppelin songs in the day. I was pleasantly surprised how good they still sounded.
@@BrockLanders-u9g Actually they are all from Louisiana and they moved too Long Island. It was LA or NY. Great interview Randy did with a buddy of mine. Good listen.....ruclips.net/video/cRKBL7wICLo/видео.htmlsi=aqjD_4o1k9jO1Pdq

My band opened for them in 1987! Empire Rock Room Philly! Good guys; sent us a case of beer backstage.
That is great story, Appreciate you sharing that. Must have been some good times for sure.
