Bummer it didn’t work out, but everything is SO expensive in terms of rentals and housing these days. I know pricing may not be much better and climate wouldn’t be land of milk and honey San Diego anymore, but have you guys looked at murrieta/temecula/menifee area? We’ve had a ton of houses built up in this area the last few years, many are rentals! Hope something works out for you guys in the future 🤞🏼

I spent a delightful afternoon destroying my mission to Mars mangave that had taken over my succulent garden. There’s so much empty space now! It’s very satisfying. And now to find the goodies to fill the space for the next iteration from the rest of the yard…
A little wat😅er will stimulate the cuttings to grow roots as you well know. LAURA!! I CUT the variegated beaucarnia recurvatta branch and its been in its own pot for a couple of weeks. Its doing well ill lyk im so excited to see what happens 😊😊😊❤❤❤

What’s the trick with mangaves? I bought two different varieties both in terracotta pots and outside for the summer. Neither one are particularly thriving. Not dead but not looking good. Don’t know what they want.
yeah i also recently purchased my first mangave & it's kinda just languishing, staying small & getting its tips fried. tho i did get it from the clearance section of my nursery so maybe it just needs some babying to recover? i just don't want to end up killing it with kindness lol
I lost my 15 year old good boy a few years ago, and honestly it takes time to feel okay. Hope your garden and family is bringing you some peace.
