  • At your behest, may I humbly present the front yard!
It’s been 2 years living here and 5 months since we installed the tapestries. My heart is full. I so thankful that I have you to share this with ❤️

The front yard looks so beautiful. Loved both the tapestries. There is a cream face pot wth portulacaria. I feel the beautiful lady head planter you have can be really worked up and placed next to it. I used to love the covid lockdown small projects you did especially with the grey lady head planter.

    Oh it’s super cute!!
Thankyou for the tour of your front garden. I think you’ve done a lovely job of marrying in succulents to the existing landscape. It’s a beautiful house and love how everything is settling in nicely.
Perfect opportunity for a fountain rehab soon we hope. That would be so fun
Bless you Laura we love you too ❤

Hi Laura hopefully your neighbor didn’t see this video😂😂😂😂 but I agree with you. Your side of the wall looks so much better. Maybe you can convince your landlord to allow you to pull those hedges from the walk way and you can do 2 more tapestries so it all corresponds together. And still keep the lawn. Just a thought

I forgot all about the front of the house cacti and succulents, you don’t go there often. Everything looks beautiful and will wait patiently for the water fountain planting make over.I really like the look of the Portulacaria minima but get the overgrowth problem. The only thing I like in your neighbor’s garden is the Sago Palm as a backdrop to your design.

It looks so cute! Especially considering that you can’t alter the grass and shrubs. I like the collection of tall cacti against that stark wall, turned out nice even though it was a challenge to work with!

What about Crassula pellucida variegata as groundcover? I love it in pots but sadly here in Ireland it has to come indoors in winter, but for you not so

I hope they see that Laura is stating her own preference, If I were walking past the two gardens, I would stop and admire both. The many years of healthy growth of the sago palm is something I appreciate and respect. The sheared shrubs farther back remind me of Japanese gardens that used sheared shrubs as large boulders might be expected. Vive la difference!

If your neighbor is offended, you can come be my neighbor, Laura! (Not sure your succulents and cacti would be as happy in upstate New York, but it’s worth a try!) L O L ❤

The front yard is considered public. He can get offended, but it’s legal or that’s what the cops told me when I was filming my neighborhood.
