I think there is a balance. Coffee in many ways overvalues the role of college for someone who wants to be an entrepreneur while Billy goes to the other extreme and acts like college is completely useless across the board.

😂😂😂 If you know anything about Billy, he isn't the least bit scared. He's confident because he actually helps people. And he's right. The fact that so many people get courses and have no self discipline to continue pushing through to trying them then bad mouthing the person who sold the course is common. So many times it isn't the guru. That's why in business they have the 80/20 rule and it breaks down further down to 1 out of every 5. Out of 100 people 80% may join something, 20% will start working it, 5% will get good at it to some degree nor at least keep trying and 1% on average is GREAT at it. That's not the gurus fault it is a personal struggle with people being lazy or in motivated, evennwith thevright or best tools, to fight for themselves but are willing to keep working and struggling on a jobs pay because its comfy. Hence the motivational gurus and the self-help people. Some gurus suck and that's a fact but Steve's constant critiques on people he usually never gets to learn about is not good. And yes he makes money on the back end from youtube by being freaking negative a majority of the time. Just like these gurus do! Except they're pushing the fact that if you try, you can increase your income. You figure out what you want to believe.

There is no guarantee of success after any education unless you have "guaranteed job placement" or a program that guarantees a certain result. By telling people "get my course to learn how to earn passive income". That is no more unethical or misleading than schools that say "cyber professional etc etc" and only give you a degree with the knowledge they had you pay them for. It is up to the individual to utilize what they have been taught to make it happen. Colleges and trainings do this exact same thing. You're offering knowledge that someone doesn't know that can allow them to even more money... when they put things into action. What Billy was saying also is that. Schools screw people out of 10s to 100s of thousands of dollars all the time with, many times, not even enough functional information to apply what they've learned to really get going "until" they get a job and as we know the pay is usually not sufficient or rewarding as they expect. That's why they had "on the job training" even for college graduates. Online courses, on average, for the ones that are not just up to a few hundred dollars may go from about $1000 to about $5k - $10k. This not talking about the top tier that only the upper middle and upper affluent class can afford since that's not the majority. The direct education you get with any sensible course is way more valuable and personally functional than a degree more than half the time. In that, you can take that knowledge and starting for free or just a few hundred to maybe a few thousand, depending, you can start a service or business of you're own that reward you multiples times over that a business degree or a financial analyst degree can. I know this because we see many times people leaving the corporate world because they realized they were killing themselves and in debt until they learned about how to start their own business online and quit within a few months to a year or so making monthly, what they made all year in the previous job. Life stories like that are all over the place. Consider this please. I taught my self to use Photoshop by copying tutorials of professional designers after I got the basics down on my own prior to doing them. My good friend had a job designing billboards for casinos and almost weekly she would send me work as ask me if I can add flair, make things pop and look glamorous and luxurious for the theme to be more effective. When she first asked I said "you went to school for this you probably know more than I do" she said "no, in school they give you basics and some advanced instruction on how to use the software to do different things, but we had no freedoms to use creativity in the ways experienced people do in the working world". I was shocked. Her friends from her class would look at what I did like I threw magic on the page. They learned in school... I was self taught and learned from pro graphic artists tutorials. This is what Billy was saying. One last thing. Earning money online is so easy. People just have to know what to do. My last example. I used to SEO my own websites to get higher in Google before all these SEO services became popular then I realized my friend and a few other businesses needed that service. I found a couple in Singapore who did the same service and a bit more and they only charged $84. In America we were charging $2500 month and I didnt like that so as an ethical marketer I charged $1000 to set things up and $850/mo. They (Singapore couple) agreed to act as my silent back office workers and all I did every month was send proof of work with my logo on it to the businesses, in pdf format and I no longer did the work. Some people would say, that's messed up your tricking or scamming the business owners. I told my good friend that I could connect her with the people I have doing my work and she said "No Dan, I run haircare business and that's what I want to focus on, the work you do produces results and that's what I need. I'm not wanting to learn about SEO and babysit another company to make sure it's done, that's why I have no problem paying you". I can explain this to anyone for free and tell them exactly how to do it. But many people in these comments have no idea how. Some people charge for this because they know how valuable it is and there is nothing wrong with it because they paid for it along the way in some form and aren't going to just tell people for free. Nothing wrong with that. It depends on how two people see the same situation. Sorry for this book 😂😂😂 and I do not have a program to sell. I was using that as an anecdotal example but I do have the knowledge and I can share it. That was the point. People don't learn these things and other things I've learned, in every day schooling.

It’s awful being in the industry. I’ve slaved for 3 years at Uni and 2 years agency-side to get clients and generate a genuine vehicle to help these guys and all I had outside of my rock-solid degree were assoles like this on RUclips.
