I really feel the hate for seed specially for this kit in this review. This kit is a thumbs up for for me. It is fun to pose, good articulation, the head is not loose and to be honest it is tight and can even stand with aile pack without a stand. Just find a right position with your feet and this kit is awesome. But I agree that for better play and more dynamic pose, a stand is a must even in other kits. I forgot to say an add on RG sky grasper will make this kit more enjoyable specially in action base 4.
@@mr.mooseman8558 I just built it and a lot of the stuff Zaku said is true, especially with the head for me. The head was flopping around like it was on a post. I wrapped some thin strips of masking tape over the ball joint and that fixed it for me. It's not a bad kit, but it's 10 years old, it shows its age.
What a beautiful kit! I just love the design of the Strike. I have this kit and the Skygrasper and I am thinking about getting the Perfect Grade versions as well. I have not put mine together yet but when work slows down I will be able to spend some time on it. Thanks for the video.
On mine, the Aile Pack is kinda loose and very easy to knock off. I was able to get mine to stand up without the base using the Launcher/Sword Pack. This Video was the one that convinced me to purchase one lol
fun facts abt the HGCE aile strike. If u remove the white armors from it arms, legs, and hips unit, u can see it actually has a frame resembling the rg
your lack of love for gundam seed really showed in this review. thats unfortunate, coz this is really a nice kit. and the lack of enthusiasm can be really felt by many gundam seed fans. nice review nontheless :)
Chris Marcojos this was a long time ago so I don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure I said in the video that (despite not being a big fan of the Aile Strike originally) I came around to liking the kit quite a bit.
my head on my titans mk2 is loose too as are the posable fingers when l paint it I'll varnish the ball joints to stiffen it up. but only issue I have with real grades, otherwise really solid kits
I want to get the best Aile strike kit I can get my hands on, MG and PG are out of my price range I believe so my question is, if you still have this, does this kit still stand well today? Or did it get extremely loose over time?
@ZakuAurelius I'm building this RG now and I'm not going to fully paint it just like you did some details and thats it; my question is for the gray parts and all the touch ops in general what type of paint did you used? I have Testors enamel; do i have to thin it or just one good pass on to the plastic? Also About the waterslides for this RG i went to samueldecals and i could not find the do i just message him on FB asking what I'm looking for? Thanks in advance 👍
I used Tamiya enamel. I've never used Testors so I can't say for sure, but I usually don't thin the paint if I'm painting a really small area. You just have to test it out. If it's looking too thick, clean the paint off entirely, use some thinner, and try again. As for the decals, on Facebook in Samuel's photo albums, look for an album called "Seed/Seed Destiny" probably something like that. And in there you can find what you're looking for. Check the photo info (caption) to seek what scale they are in and price.
I just finished mine and I have found that not only is the head loose and the alle pack floppy. My left shoulder is extremely weak. All in all not happy with qc of the rg line.
how can i tighten Strike's torso without frozen/lock it's torso ? I've look for solution for a while , but no answer found if anyone know please tell me. ;-;
just like you said, choose gundam which you like cuz gundam is freedom. its clearly shown how you hate this kit well if you dont like it just dont review it, it hurts for other fan of this kit
ZakuAurelius Thanks for the info! I want to get into RG kits even though I've never built a Gunpla before so would this be good for me since I'm a beginner? Or should I wait?
I'm sorry to say that I don't have any plans currently to buy that kit. But I'm currently seeking a sponsor, so if I find one that carries the kit I'll try to get it to review for you guys!
Nice job with your model, it really shows how small detailing stills goes a long way with realism, truly.

I am really glad to read this, because I am considering getting this kit and all of zaku's comments worried me. Thx friend!

Why does my model of this kit the head is not loose but it moves a lot

on mine, head wasn't loose at all, but for the aile pack, i've noticed you had to push it quite hard to make it fit right, then it'll stay
Crainshaw83 how long did it take u?

ZakuAurelius all's fine bro :)
I think this kit pairs nicely with the MG freedom 2.0

Don't care what anyone says this kit still look nice
Beautiful

+ZakuAurelius thank you so much i really appreciate it 👍
I saw a Rare Expo edition of an RG Strike Rouge (no IWSP). Does it share the same qualities as this one?
I just finished mine and I have found that not only is the head loose and the alle pack floppy. My left shoulder is extremely weak. All in all not happy with qc of the rg line.
I also have the head lose and for me I just put some tape not glue so that the head can move!
Lance Del Mundo Cool deal! So it must be a common problem for the kit. What a pity! Still ends up looking really nice! ^^
What type of glue did you use?

How tall is this kit?
All the good looking gunplas ive seen ALWAYS have loose joints except the RG Unicorn gundam
Will the RG Aile Stike backpack fit on a bearguy III?
SetsunaKai5 it will if you modify it!
Is the Hg or rg one better? And also what is uc means is there any different
brandon ng RG is a higher price but is way better than HG
just like you said, choose gundam which you like cuz gundam is freedom. its clearly shown how you hate this kit well if you dont like it just dont review it, it hurts for other fan of this kit
How complicated was the build process?
not that complicated! If you've built any gunpla before you'll be fine with this kit! (And rather pleased, it's a nice kit!)
ZakuAurelius Thanks for the info! I want to get into RG kits even though I've never built a Gunpla before so would this be good for me since I'm a beginner? Or should I wait?
what tools did u use for painting this kit? i dont have a steady hand and im afraid i might mess up the lining when i use brush
Which action base is that and how do you connect it?
Hello person from 4 years ago. I think it's an Action Base 2, from Bandai
Can you do a review of a Dragon Momoko Strike?
I'm sorry to say that I don't have any plans currently to buy that kit. But I'm currently seeking a sponsor, so if I find one that carries the kit I'll try to get it to review for you guys!
does the kit come with decals?
Yes
Yes, is rg
do you use something that is liquid when applying Water slide decals? and what type of decals does it include?
This kit doesn’t dome with waterslide decals, only sticker decals and they don’t require anything
@@ZakuAurelius oh i See. but, what if you wanted to apply some water slide decals to your kits. what liquid do you apply? sorry I'm a beginner.
