Pretty safe to say *we were all fighting like hell to get through it* Ric
😂😂
😭😭😭
Flair retired when Sweet Chin Music took him out at WrestleMania.
I LMAO'd when Shawn mouthed I love you to Ric before the Super Kick.
No he didn’t
Flair vs Lethal was waaay better
@@JR-he6fnhe should have
He had the perfect send off and he tainted it.

100% agree. Here's my list! Would love to know yours
Sure Ric, can barely walk to the ring without getting gassed, but you totally trained 3 hours a day 5 days a week while also binging alcohol, absolutely believable.
If he wasn't an alcoholic i would've believed him .
yes you can absolutely! Alcohol doesn’t diminishes your training at all. It actually makes your more energetic and refresh for training. Because I did it and I didn’t feel any different when training. I did pro wrestling for 5yrs and I know first hand of what I’m saying.
@@frankiewilliams4063What an IMBECILIC COMMENT.
You are a fool and an ignoramus
Source : RN MAP PROGRAM OHSU
@@frankiewilliams4063were you also 73 years old like Flair?
@@frankiewilliams4063 Guess what, Ric likely could do it too 30 years ago, but the man is in his 70s now after heart surgery, looks like he is damn near 90 years old and can hardly walk anywhere without breathing heavy, so unless he thought that we are currently in the early 90s I call BS on that claim of his.
It's crazy Ric faking a heartattack and literally no one watching that match including his family and taker could tell if it's legit or not
Hence why it got so much criticism. Because you have a man who’s over 70 wrestling in a match that he was being dragged through who easily could have had a heart attack. I mean one thing to remember is that the dude has a pacemaker and had to pass on taking some of his medication prior to the match because he has to take blood thinners with his pacemaker but couldn’t take them and wrestle because of the risk of blood loss if he bled during the match after taking the meds. All of those things made it tasteless but it is what it is in the end.
The worse outcome of drinking too much is to not have hangovers or being able to stop for periods of time.
All that does is make the person extremely old before they realize they have a problem or dead before they ever reach that part.
I’ve never heard a person that quit that life and fully recover say, “I wish I stayed out there just a little bit longer.”
It’s always “I wish I had stopped years earlier or had never started.”
Rick is obviously a fun and intelligent guy. That kind of energy can move mountains. I wish him the best.
People always miss their youth and partying. Tf you mean lol
My advice is the opposite of yours. In fact, I suggest you yourself become an alcoholic sir or ma'am
@@oceanshrugs9235 Youth yes, the partying all depends on the individual’s inability later in life to stop. Not everyone will understand my post but those who do will understand it with every fibre of their being.
My hope is that you never come to understand my post. Live well and enjoy.
I already quit drinking and smoking. I just think you should start both @@richvail7551

NGL He looked like he was gonna die
guy's still got a death wish for that matter, they say he's gearing up for, yet, another match which may well go down this Christmas season. n, by the looks of it, good ol ric's DEAD serious about it
@@adr5389 another last match? He wants to die in the ring. He wants to be wrestling’s Tommy cooper.
I believe Ric wants to die in the ring. That's what he wants. 80% of Flairs' last match was him laying out on his back nearly unconscious and gasping for air 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He says he faked a heart attack but he revealed months later that he learned he actually had a real heart attack in this match! Dude actually was close to tipping over and dying!
I was there. It was hard to watch lol
Man's said he doesn't count drinks, he counts the hours he's been drinking 😂
That's easier than counting drinks. Who needs to count anyway
Flair is exactly like I was in the twenties of my life. I could drink everyday and I never got a hangover and I did that for 10 years and I got tons of women but the problem was at age 30 it caught me.
The craziest thing for me, is I was in the crowd that night and it seemed like a great time. Of course ric was slower but overall everyone there had a great time watching it and it was enjoyable. And then after the fact we heard everyone saying what a train wreck it was, so I went back and watched it and everyone was right. Amazing how you can get caught up in the moment so deeply you just don’t notice the truth
He was dehydrated cause he's a 70 year old alcoholic. If he genuinely 'forgot' to drink water then he's senile.
Ric loves being famous
Lmao
He wasn’t always 70. He used to just be and alcoholic and didn’t need water before a match.
So I'm supposed to believe 70 year old Flair benched 225, ok
I know guy who is few years older and can get like 300
What did he expect? Forget about his prime. He was way way past his expiration date as an in ring performer. It was extra dangerous for him to even be out there taking bumps at his advanced age. Maybe he should’ve listened to his body and retired a quarter of a century ago.
quarter of a century ago? Hell no, tf you talking about. He should have retired in that 08 Wrestlemania match with HBK
To be honest, I did like his run in TNA after his first retirement match against Micheals. He was like another Ric Flair we never got to see before, and it was fun to watch. Plus, that infamous promo with Jay Lethal wouldnt have happened otherwise. I believe that what was supposed to be his final match vs Sting was a really good end to his career and a really good final opponent.
This final match shouldnt have happened. It did sadly tarnish the end of his career.
Thank you nature boy
Out of everyone he should have a real last match should be with sting those two has had some of the most memorable matches of all Rick flair matches
Fun in theory to dream of as a fan considering their rivalries over the years and how great they were. But in practical sake it’s wild to even consider the possibility of what a one on one match would be when it would be a 65 year old sting and a 75 year old Ric Flair. I’m all for guys getting to make their own decisions on this stuff even if wouldn’t be well received by many but that one would just be rough to see. The approach they had for the last match PPV was the right idea by having the younger guys involved to carry the bulk of the load and then have Ric pop in here and there but as we saw even trying to accommodate real life limitations as they did it was still bad because of whatever happened with Ric. But in the end I’ll accept whatever happens because it ain’t my call.
🤣🤣
Ric's attitiude rocks.. make's me smile so much
We love you Ric. Please don't wrestle anymore though. it not exciting to watch, it's just so heart wrenching and panic inducing.
5:03 I would give anything for Ric Flair to say this to me. And I’m not even a wrestling fan
Bro gonna die in the ring. It's sad really
That would be the ending that he would love, however.
“Could of been a masterpiece”
Lol
Could've used a correct contraction... sheesh...
That's a match you can never consider watching again😂
He didnt taint his legacy but it was extremely painful to watch, I was legitimately worried for the man.
He didnt hurt his legacy. Jake the Snakes last match was trash. Guess, what? I just remember the his work from 86 to 93. Same, with Flair. I think of his body of work between the early 80s all the way to 2006.
2:28 Even Chris told him to stop 💀
Legends don't go harder than this. Okay Ric... OKAY RIC... if, and *only if* your ass gets back in shape, and I mean SUPER SHAPE, then and ONLY THEN will I get behind another final match! And no scares this time! You absolute maniac... 😆♥
If he does one more match like that it better be against the Undertaker cause he'll be RIP
Limosine riding jet flying
Flair retired against Shawn, all the matches since were just exhibitions of sorts
All matches are exhibitions
Ric deserves to go out how he wants to go out.
Mickey Rourke style
Do one last match, ricky mortan and sting vs ric flair and tully blanchard(he was taking bumps in aew as a manager he could do it)
Ric Flair is the definition of an artist. I love him for his singlemindedness.
I might get some flack for this but Ric Flair should've stayed retired especially after the Undertaker saluted him and broke character to join the rest of the roster to applaud him.
He says he was doing better but he's lying. I have this one image seared into my brain of him walking off the ramp and then trying to give him a bottle of water but he doesn't even remember holding the bottle or where it was and it falls to the ground and one of the attendants or it might have been Andrade goes to pick it up and then realizes it's pointless because Flair's not going to take it anyway
Flair was in a totally different world that night.
People are saying he has 10 - 12 a night.
Us wrestling fans ignore this time. When he wrestled Shawn that was the final match
WOOO-WINGS !
I LOVED IT!
If Ric keeps it up its going to be like the movie the wrestler.
Stop glamourising his drinking. Look at the state of him. The puppydog eyes and adulation isn't what an alcoholic needs to hear. These enablers should be ashamed of themselves.
The man is in his mid-70s, he’s chosen this life, and nothing anybody does about it will change it. If he hasn’t stopped after multiple near-death experiences, he won’t stop until he’s in the ground. Doesn’t make it a good lifestyle choice, but it’s the path he chose
@@blankblankersonWoke = Education, Acceptance, and Kindness.
Anyone shi##ing on "wokeness" is an uneducated Mouth-Breathing Troglodyte. A loser and a coward. A failure 🧐
The man is almost 75 years old, and has been drinking for decades. At this point, there’s no reason for him to quit drinking, in fact it could quite possibly kill him
@@Moneymaker-sl5jk You make a good point. Though, he could be painlessly detoxed within 10 days without risk of seizures or crippling anxiety.
Alcohol is easy to treat with a short stint on Benzodiazapenes such as Diazepam.
But, ethically or morally, it isn't my business to decide such a thing.
It's just kind of sad to see him go out as ridiculous and embarrassing whereas he could leave this Earth with Grace and Humility.
@@timbow1356 he’s always been like this though. He’s just old now lol. My dad was an alcoholic, he lost the fight when he was 53. It doesn’t seem fair to me that Flair has lived 20 years longer while almost definitely drinking a lot more, but my dad wasn’t a pro wrestler and didn’t stay in good shape lol 😂 but I’m usually always on board for someone to quit drinking, it just doesn’t really make sense to me for Flair. He’s got health problems regardless, even if he stops drinking today he ain’t making it to 100, 80 would be a real accomplishment. He might as well enjoy the rest of his life, the way he’s always lived it. Very few people get to have as much fun as Flair did lol
I'm ok with the match the way it happened. It was never meant to be his ultimate match. It was just one last night of fun one last time. This was a thing he did just for him for once in his career
Dude was plastered coming into his entrance. Was an embarrassment and a FU to the ppl that actually paid to come see it live.
and your parents were plastered when you were conceived.
Sensitive booty much? Aw it's ok. A lot of ppl ride on Nature Boy's dick, you just wish it physically. One day if he's drunk enough, keep at it.
he really should have stuck to retirement after his match with Shawn
2:26 Cody Rhodes vs Ric flair in casket match Wrestlemania 2025
No one ruined Flair’s legacy like Flair.
For how old flair is that match wasn't bad
If this was the 80s Ric would be turned enhancement talent first match the way Pedro morales was
225 bench? He can barely hold the mic.
He turn the color of his shirt
He should wrestle one last time
Name fits cuz it’s about as retarded as the comment
Maybe Ric shouldn’t have been completely wasted.
like your parents were when they decided to have you loser.
Please just enjoy the remaining time you have, Nature Boy. You're a 16x World champ and a 2x hof'er.
You don't need to wrestle for us anymore
He doesnt get a hangover because hes an alcoholic. He apparently has alcoholic cardiomyopathy which would not surprise me in the slightest.
He looked rough as , he shouldnt of been in there at his age. Couldve been a lot worse.
Flair made fool of himself last match
10 years later, ric flair die on burried alive match
RIP but first one more match please!!!
Bruh if he does one more match he'll be RIP for real.
His arms for his age were in good shape his neck a little loose but he'll let's see your average 40 yr old do what he did that night .
Classic narcissist
Dude almost died.
Why wouid you go out for a drink with sonebody like this . Contebt creators will do anything for exposure and a story . Pathetic
"Everything went great," how delusional.
"everything went great.... including the heart attack I had during the match."
@@Bowling_Dude ya i had to come back to him sucking his own dick.
@@Bowling_Dude LOL, I wonder why he was allowed to wrestle.
@@kme321 who's going to tell Ric Flair no
Flair at this age probably thinks he can take a suplex to the outside or something stupid
It was horrible match I'm sorry rick
Too many wrestlers go on too long and ruin the ending of their careers.
I’m starting to see it now with the likes of John Cena and The Rock, who both cannot wrestle anywhere near as well as they used to and it just becomes sad to see them in the ring because you wanna remember them in their prime. Both Cena and Rock should have their final matches at WrestleMania this year and retire from in ring action for good.
It’s like when Stone Cold came back, why? He had the perfect ending losing to Rock at WrestleMania. Then to see him look sloppy and slow in his “comeback” against Kevin Owens just ruins a fairytale ending..
I could go on, Shawn Michaels. Why did he return at Crown Jewel and ruin his final match against Undertaker? Look how AWFUL that tag team match was at Crown Jewel..
The Undertaker another one who went on for far too many years when his ability in the ring was no longer there. Although his final retirement match against AJ Styles was a fitting end for him and he should stick to that.
Then you’ve got the likes of Triple H, Kane etc who never even got a final match.. Because again they go on too long, they should have called it quits years ago and had a fitting end to their incredible careers.
It’s just sad to see these superstars not get the ending they deserve. Kurt Angle is my all time favourite and it’s sad how his final match turned out.
Dude your tripping Steve's return was fantastic especially because he's been out so long he didn't skip a beat to me ... And Cena can still go for a part timer
I'm really sad to see Edge coming back; dude looks like he's aged 15 years since he last retired. And he can't be coming back cause he's doing well, he's coming back and slogging through it with grey hair, working with spinal injuries and it can only be for the money. This business is fucked up, you only come out without debt if you get a piece of production or something
Short answer : Money 😂
You lost all credibility when you said Austin was slow and sloppy when he tore the house down and NOONE walked away disappointed with his match
I love Ric Flair but for the love of all that's holy please never wrestle again we don't want you to die in that ring
I kinda avoided watching his last "match" for a while. I finally saw it today. It was absolutely abysmal. It was never gonna be a "masterpiece" as Rick claims here. It was way worse than I thought it'd be. I really hope TK doesn't let him try to wrestle in AEW....
way past his expiration date as an in ring performer getting sad n pathetic
could have died that night
