    • @Matt-cr4vv
      @Matt-cr4vv 10 месяцев назад +2

      Hence why it got so much criticism. Because you have a man who’s over 70 wrestling in a match that he was being dragged through who easily could have had a heart attack. I mean one thing to remember is that the dude has a pacemaker and had to pass on taking some of his medication prior to the match because he has to take blood thinners with his pacemaker but couldn’t take them and wrestle because of the risk of blood loss if he bled during the match after taking the meds. All of those things made it tasteless but it is what it is in the end.

    The worse outcome of drinking too much is to not have hangovers or being able to stop for periods of time.
    All that does is make the person extremely old before they realize they have a problem or dead before they ever reach that part.
    I’ve never heard a person that quit that life and fully recover say, “I wish I stayed out there just a little bit longer.”
    It’s always “I wish I had stopped years earlier or had never started.”
    Rick is obviously a fun and intelligent guy. That kind of energy can move mountains. I wish him the best.

Plus, that infamous promo with Jay Lethal wouldnt have happened otherwise. Fun in theory to dream of as a fan considering their rivalries over the years and how great they were. But in practical sake it’s wild to even consider the possibility of what a one on one match would be when it would be a 65 year old sting and a 75 year old Ric Flair. I’m all for guys getting to make their own decisions on this stuff even if wouldn’t be well received by many but that one would just be rough to see. The approach they had for the last match PPV was the right idea by having the younger guys involved to carry the bulk of the load and then have Ric pop in here and there but as we saw even trying to accommodate real life limitations as they did it was still bad because of whatever happened with Ric. But in the end I’ll accept whatever happens because it ain’t my call.

    Too many wrestlers go on too long and ruin the ending of their careers.
    I’m starting to see it now with the likes of John Cena and The Rock, who both cannot wrestle anywhere near as well as they used to and it just becomes sad to see them in the ring because you wanna remember them in their prime. Both Cena and Rock should have their final matches at WrestleMania this year and retire from in ring action for good.
    It’s like when Stone Cold came back, why? He had the perfect ending losing to Rock at WrestleMania. Then to see him look sloppy and slow in his “comeback” against Kevin Owens just ruins a fairytale ending..
    I could go on, Shawn Michaels. Why did he return at Crown Jewel and ruin his final match against Undertaker? Look how AWFUL that tag team match was at Crown Jewel..
    The Undertaker another one who went on for far too many years when his ability in the ring was no longer there. Although his final retirement match against AJ Styles was a fitting end for him and he should stick to that.
    Then you’ve got the likes of Triple H, Kane etc who never even got a final match.. Because again they go on too long, they should have called it quits years ago and had a fitting end to their incredible careers.
    It’s just sad to see these superstars not get the ending they deserve. Kurt Angle is my all time favourite and it’s sad how his final match turned out.

      I'm really sad to see Edge coming back; dude looks like he's aged 15 years since he last retired. And he can't be coming back cause he's doing well, he's coming back and slogging through it with grey hair, working with spinal injuries and it can only be for the money. This business is fucked up, you only come out without debt if you get a piece of production or something

      You lost all credibility when you said Austin was slow and sloppy when he tore the house down and NOONE walked away disappointed with his match

    I love Ric Flair but for the love of all that's holy please never wrestle again we don't want you to die in that ring

    I kinda avoided watching his last "match" for a while. I finally saw it today. It was absolutely abysmal. It was never gonna be a "masterpiece" as Rick claims here. It was way worse than I thought it'd be. I really hope TK doesn't let him try to wrestle in AEW....
