Well done for carrying on. I know what it's like. I loved the way folk rushed to see if you were ok-not! Hope you had a nice rest after.❤
(1st i hope you are ok after your tumble)...loving your seaide streams. My Gran had a van on Searles site in the 70-80' my mums side came from Ely..i live in Cheshire but used to visit since i was 5(now65). Sunny Hunny..fond memories, my 1st boyfriend at 17 was Will Searles he started Willy The Wash Monster! He looked like Rod Stewart.. i met him in the Kit Kat Club...missed a trick there..i could have been his Mrs with their Leisure Park empire ! Wasnt meant to be...❤we really were sweethearts❤...I holiday in Barmouth now..my 2nd home...i am getting through your vids slowly...keep up the good work🎉🚶♂️
I was the grizzled, old Paramedic sitting on the steps of the Beach Patrol hut in the film and remember your visit. The lads did a pretty fair job on patching you up, as I recall.
It's a good service, offered by the local council during 'the season', and they're nearly all youngsters. During the Easter and Summer school holidays, they put a 'medic on as well, just in case something really unpleasant happens.
Everyone should stop and say hello to them .......they're a good bunch....... and they know everything you could possibly want to know about Sunny Hunny!
Hope you've recovered properly now. Bash on! 👍🏻
I was really grateful
Any other time I’d have just carried on but the graze was really dirty and sore so thought I’d pop in and everyone did a great job
It’s a really fantastic asset to the seafront to have that team looking after everyone!
The beach by the light house along the cliff walk is amazing miles and miles of sand and a lovely cafe by the lighthouse . A lot of people moan about Hunstanton beach I always tell them to visit the lighthouse beach old Hunstanton . I love both though .
Caravan park right on the prom !!! 5 Star stuff ,best ever is that .
ha ha yes!
Hi, I'm sorry you took a fall, I hope you feel better soon. Thank you for your video tours, they are great.
My mother was born in Hunstanton, I spent most of my childhood and teenage years there, my husband was also born there, many happy memories.
Jet skis amongst swimmers , not a good combination . Great photography as usual
The many videos youve done and only one fall pretty good record seeing u r holding camera too. Hope alls well
Visited here for the first time the very week you were there. There is so much more to Hunstanton to see, lovely place, Proper Butcher, fruit and Veg and Bakery shops, great cafes to visit. Lovely walk over to Old Hunstanton, over the cliffs. We parked our car at the accommodation and never ventured out in it until we were heading home, a lovely place to relax. Definitely visit again.
Sorry to see you fall over, well done for carrying on like a true pro, keep up the great videos Neil, have a look around Suffolk, lovely places to visit, especially on the coast.

It looks lovely and ideal for a family holiday with all the sights and sounds of an English coastal resort. Hope you've recovered from your tumble.
The Hunstanton you are walking right now is where I've been there couple times with my family and my friends 🤓
Great memories 👍
Ouch! I am happy you were ok after the nice first aiders patched you up. Looks like a nice place with gorgeous beaches.
Yes it was!
I worked the doors at the Sands night club in hunny in the mid 90s and back then Hunstanton was rough particularly during the winter months. The holiday season used to start on good Friday and finish on the 30th of September, these days it's all year round. Doing my current job I spend a fair bit of time there and over the last 12 years I've seen it flourish and become one of the nicest seaside resorts in England. It used to be filthy, a proper dump but now it has really got its act together, nice places to eat and some decent shops. Oh, and you can park your bike at the unofficial bike park on the front and have some donuts and coffee!
Love hunstanton so much.we stay at searles going back in August camping, can't wait.
Hope you're doing ok after that fall. I can sympathize as I can fall over fresh air. It is lovely in Hunstanton though, it's definitely one of my favorite places with a very rich history too. Thanks for filming as far as you did xx
I went over on my ankle twice in one morning due to new trainers that were too narrow.
18wk later and still recovering.
I've developed planter fasciitis in other foot due to offset weight bearing . Without your feet your knackered . Take it steady ,maybe look at some ankle supported footwear if it's your main job .
Great advice thank you
Will definitely look into that
Please be careful when walking round and now you can get a coffee or lunch and it is a nice place for a holiday and the beach is good but a long way to the water and all the little stalls bout for a food and drinks hope you phone is ok and gifts shops and the first aid was there as well for the kids and adults it is nice good place thanks Neil for us around
Awwww bless you hope your Ok and you got your phone sorted 😢
Sorry about your fall, that did look very sore! On the funnier side of things I thought it was quite ironic that you filmed those caution signs twice, that piece of the concrete is definately uneven. I hope your injuries have healed well. Thanks for continuing to bring us such great videos.
🤣🤣🤣 thanks I’m good! Was just a bit bruised and embarrassed 🤣🤣
😢hope your OK now glad u got sorted at the 1st aid 😊 love Hunstanton been there all my life nice to see the video ❤
As a child use to go there every year for family holidays to searles in hunstanton in the mid-late 80's.. I remember this one entertainer call Dick Roper he was very good. I have not been there for 30 year now, probably go one day just to have some memories flood back.
I've been visiting Hunny since the 70s and have seen a few changes... It used to possess a pier until recently. Unfortunately, it got burnt down. Lovely walks, lovely place to be, though. Ironically, your walk wasn't so lovely, and I commend you for carrying on filming. Cheers, Neil! 👍
Glad you r ok we often visit sunny hunny the beach at old Hunstanton is a lot better but the people r really friendly there
Hello Neil how are you hope that you are ok after your nasty fall best wishes take care stay safe xx ❤
Yes been there a long time ago, great to see the place again, get rid of the trainers and buy good quality walking shoes Neil, we knew what was coming and still shocked 😲 take care
Yeh might have to switch to walking shoes!
Hope you are ok love going to Hunstanton had many holidays there, take care
I am!
Oh dude, I felt that! Glad to see you got up and carried on, well done for not throwing in the towel (or the gimbal! 😂) Great walk as usual ☀
Thank you for finally doing Hunstanton. I'm the one who kept nagging on twitter. Additionally sorry you fell, I'm often told I'm a jinx.. Guess it's true.
Glad you enjoyed your visit, apart from the fall. The town did have much more to offer in previous years, both on the seafront and the town centre with an excellent range of shops. Together with the loss of Woolworth, many have given up due to high rents, business rates, and lack of convenient parking- even that new apartment block that you saw on the sea front was being constructed on a car park.
There has been some improvement with the opening of the new QD store in the High Street.
At least there is an excellent local bus company, Lynx, with regular services via Heacham, and Dersingham to Lynn and also along the coast.
Just don't mention the Pier and the Railway out loud- There are a few angry cloth cap wearing locals who might be listening and still think that they are going to be rebuilt 🤣🤣
hunstanton is a lovely place i go there often 😊👍
It really is!
Gosh Neil hope you were fine later that day? That was very scary. You didn't hit your head when you fell forward did you? All in a days work I guess? Glad this doesn't happen often for you~ Hunstanton looks lovely, I had never been , But I feel like it now! Blood and all! lol ;) Take care my friend! Cheers!
Great video, I’ve only ever been to Hunstanton once but quite liked it, hopefully your feeling a bit better now after that bad fall, quite lucky that the first aid place wasn’t too far away from you 👍🏻😊
Stunning ❤
Sorry about ur fall. You should have stopped straight away. Hope u and the phone is ok x x
Thankfully the medical hut wasn't far away and they did a great job of cleaning me up again!
i saw you fall last week are you ok now .i love Hunstanton because its all on the prom x
feel sorry for your "mistake" 😉 and hope you recovered well 😉😉
will there be a part 2 of Hunstanton ? cause there is so much more to se when you go further down the beach 'til you reach the cliff
Guys Sunny Hunny is technically in west Norfolk not North Norfolk, North Norfolk actually ends at Holkham , but they say it’s in North Norfolk for market value reasons, if you know what I mean
Ah ok yeah! Thanks for the info!
My error
Neil
@@GimbalWalkTV love ya work Neil hope you’re ok after the fall 👍🏼, the whole North Norfolk thing only started to happen because parts of the posh areas of west Norfolk eg the burnhams or little Chelsea as it’s known, decided that they would rather be in North Norfolk. Apparently houses are worth more in North Norfolk than in west Norfolk, we live near Cromer and loved your episode of the town , thank you 👍🏼🍻
I was there in the 90s
Now you know why it’s called the big sky County
Hope you recovered ok. Im same, clumsy haha
Yeh all good thank you - just a bruised ego and a lumpy knee 🤣
Hope you're OK, Neil. As First Aiders, my brother and I are both worried about you. But, you did the right thing and got the best help then realised the shock was setting in and acted accordingly. If the ground is uneven, you should contact the council. Where there's blame ........
Thank you!
The medical guys did a great job and cleaned me up and got me back up and running again
@@GimbalWalkTV I haven't been to Hunstanton for almost 40 years. I used to go to "camp" with the Girls' Brigade (we actually slept on camp beds in a school 🤣) but I left when I was about 15.
Do hope that you are ok after that fall 🤞 maybe the next video will have to be called Gimbal Limp TV
🤣🤣🤣
Hope you are OK too bad your trainers let ya down ! BUT Nice walk !
My caravan park is near Hunstanton
Did you have the goat?
I feel old Hunstanton is nicer ?
Hope your ok
If they gave out gold medals for having ankle fail and tipping over, I'd have most of them, so I can sympathize! I hope you were able to sit down, catch your breath, and have some water! Feel better soon!
Think I might try ankle supports 🤣
@@GimbalWalkTV heehee, I hope you are feeling a lot better! I should have said this before but if you need to wrap it to take down swelling, make a large pot of chamomile tea, let it cool a bit, and make the compress with it. but hoping it's sorted by now! x
Glad your okay maybe time to get rid of the famous white trainers lol
Yeh and get some ankle supports!
Ironic that just after your fall you passed several moblity scooters - perhaps ?????
Yeh I'm going to change to gimbal scooter I think - it's much safer 🤣
I forgot, the new buildings are going to be apartments
Norfolk is very own Marbella😂
Glad they patched you up neil
Only up the road from me … dirty beach that should never be swam in
To much reading let’s have some chat.
