Hello, my name is George and was born in the 50's, England. I remember me, Mum, Dad, would go on holiday here when I was a boy living in England. Of course, it looked a lot different back then, and was not developed as it is now. Dad rented a chalet on top of the cliffs which was also an open grass field and not over-populated with buildings and had a small Cornish gift, Ice-cream shop that had small round pointed roofs. I guess they are all gone now, we would have to walk from our chalet to the cliff edge and traverse down the side of the cliffs by a small pathway to get to the beach area as there were no roads or steps, or easy access back then. I live in Canada now since 1975 when we all moved here. I have been looking and searching for videos on Newquay for years and finally, someone made one! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am overjoyed with happiness seeing the beach and sites I holidayed as a kid with my parents. I was in tears watching this thinking about all the fun times I had with Mum and Dad on our holidays and the beach. I played and splashed in the rock pools, explored the caves, and also visited all the other Cornwall towns along the coast which you made videos of. You have truly made me very happy :) I have never had a chance to go back home since coming to Canada in 1975 but am hoping one day to return and this place is definitely on my list to go and visit. You have made me so happy, and also homesick for a holiday there. Thanks All the Best George Smoky Lake, Alberta, Canada
Such a beautiful video and so well done. I watched it with my elderly parents and it brought back so many wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much, we absolutely loved it.
Great video, I remember being on holiday here in 1969, my friend and I both 18 and having the best time. Thanks for the wonderful memories your channel brings 😊
Kind of late getting on today but I'm enjoying Newquay and it is another awesome town with an amazing looking beach and as always I liked the buildings, the local shops, places to eat and drink Thanks again until next time take care.🇬🇧🙏🇬🇧
In your opening shot to you turn and walk up the road , the house at the top used to be a guest house owned by the Moyle family. From the age of 7 to 14 we used to stay there every year , paradise.
I love all the colours and shapes in the caves of Newquay Beach.👏👏👏 inside some cave walls look like big scoops of blue ice cream and others like chunks of Rocky Road.....very interesting....thank you 🤗
So Beautiful, love the water beach and town, I can see why its popular, its the 5th Cornwall video I've watched so far this weekend with a Fore Street. Thanks again Neil, stunning camera work.

So true
The weather in the UK is so frustrating
Maybe in the future we can get computers to control it so we can have the same weather as Spain!

Agreed!
While you visit Newquay, look up Crantock village. 😊
That looks beautiful! I'll definitely do that on the next Cornwall series!
What is the song you play at the end of your videos? Who's it by? Love it xx
Hi Neil, when were you there 😀
Sunday 28th April my phone tells me!
@@GimbalWalkTV ta chuck
now thats what you call a beach
Amazing place
I can't think of Cornwall and not think of Jamie Larder and Sherpa. R.I.P. Sherpa. You were a very good boy.
I enjoyed the video of Newquay but what happened to Fistral Beach. You can't visit Newquay without showing the surfing beach.
I went to Newquay once, once was enough.
😮😮😮😮 how come?
@@GimbalWalkTV Far too crowded and tacky.
Live there 😂 I lived there the towns rife with drugs , sorry to burst your bubble
Ok
Your just showing the high street show the back streets
