Really enjoyed this. Interesting references to Pg Wodehouse a favourite writer of mine. Great to see the lighthouse. Have never been to Norfolk. Can no longer travel so this series is great. Thanks Andy
Apparently there's a footpath that goes through the grounds of Hunstanton Hall but you can only walk through on a Thursday between set hours🤔 I'd normally agree with you about the lack of seaview but what's underneath your feet is far more impressive.
This was a Wednesday so that was out anyway. Mind you, even if it was a Thursday I guess its not that early in the morning. It was just before 6.30am in that opening shot
When do you plan on doing the county you started months ago and never finished? (Suffolk) Especially with you doing Norfolk (which is next to Suffolk) and then going back to something like Yorkshire makes me think you will let the Suffolk series just decay.
I live in Yorkshire. It's not that easy for me to get to everywhere, hence why there's a lot of Yorkshire/Lincolnshire/Notgtinghamshire stuff, because its local. The Suffolk series won't decay. Nowhere will. They're just too far away to go like every week. I will be back to Suffolk soon
Adam is right though, when you are in Norfolk you are next to Suffolk so please don't make that "excuse" of its too far. Its simple, when you are in a county think what's next to it
No, Adam is not right, and neither are you. Don't get me wrong, I WANT to get both counties done, but I also want to get EVERY county done...but this is a THIRTY YEAR project for a reason. You have to understand something. I have a job, and a family, and a lot of other commitments besides RUclips. Its not an "excuse" to say I'm too far away. I am, at th moment, when you consider the likes of Norfolk and Suffolk are three/four hours away from where I live and I have all that other stuff to think about. I need people to be supportive, not negative. That way, maybe this can grow enough so that I can ditch my job, and THEN start running off further afield on a more regular basis. That's the idea, anyway. Until then, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the four Yorkshire counties have more than enough for me to be getting on with.
I actually live not far from Andy, and used to go to Norfolk on holiday as a kid, and you're looking at 3 to 3½ hours on a good day, it's mainly A roads with very few dual carriageways, so all it takes is an accident or roadworks and it's even longer, it's also coming up to main holiday season, so the roads will be even busier.
Hi Andy
What a great video.
I've been to Hunstanton once really brought back memories.
Thanks .
