Another great & fantastic video of PERRANPORTH | Exploring the seaside holiday town of Perranporth Cornwall💙💙
Very happy memories of this place, rolled back the years!! Thank you!!!
Absolutely love Perranporth and the gorgeous North Cornwall coast from Bude all the way down to Newquay, Crantock and the Gannel Estuary, Holywell Bay and Perranporth! My very favorite stretch of coastline! Your video tour is fabulous - it's wonderful to see all the familiar places - thank you so much for sharing!
I did the Holywell to Perranporth. At one point I thought I would die if I put a foot wrong it was epic. It is though it's hardcore.
@@antman5474 same here.
@@user-es1ux5kw9k there was me on a country walk, a ramble...
... and then that.
I thought I was about to die.
Needs a guide rail at least.
But no, Kernow isn't Disney land and if you fall off it's your own silly fault.
But I'm doing that walk again ffs
I am enjoying seeing the different Villages during the off season..thank you 😊
You’re welcome!
Great to see it again , we rented a cottage in Blackwater and would drive down to the beaches during the week, happy days,
Beautiful, I bet those cliff top properties have amazing views, oh and I loved the little cormorant floating in with the tide !
Ahhh is that what they are?
@@GimbalWalkTV
Yeah, they 'swim' under water, you can see them dive under, and come back up far from where they went in... if at all !
Takes me back a bit, I worked on that beach hiring deck chairs and surfboards in the 70s stunning beach
Thanks for walking round the beach and the shops and nice fish and chips shops coffee shops and hotels near the beach and a bit chilly as well enjoy what you are eating
Thanks Elaine!
I've been to paphos it's a beautiful country
Beautiful, I spent 4 years of my childhood living in this beautiful town, on the beach after school in the summer, aahh the memories 😍
Beautiful place
Must be the best beach in the southwest it rained when I was there youre video of the waves was brilliant h
Amazing really, I lived in Perranporth many, many years ago. Not a single shop that was there then now remains. The Ty Inn still there but everything else gone
Very nice walk-about thanks Mr Gimbal - keep em coming ‼️‼️💯💯✔✔💟
More to come!
👍👍👍🚶♂️🚶🏄♂️🏄♀️
THANKS AGAIN !
Omg he’s this beach is amazing I really close to perranporth it’s a great place
Lovely isn't it
When you climb to the flag upon the rock there is a man made pool full of sea water that you can swim in and take a dinghy into.
Lovely place
Some of the youtube's I follow on horse's GO for a ride ON perranporth beach . To help get the horse's fit .SUCH good filming . Take care and all the best. I would LOVE to GO there some day . I'm going to sennen cove Cornwall, in July. 😊😊😊👍👍👍
Ah amazing - I actually saw the horses running on the beach the other day!
Was lovely
We went to perenporth on my birthday last August, and the entire beach was rammed, we couldn't get on it, so stayed in the pub haha 😅 🙃
Beautiful, I have just sat here in my truck on a break, and for the last 20mins thought I was on that beach! I absolutely love Perranporth, have had many happy holidays here. I would definitely move to Perranporth if I could! Nice camera work. 👍
WoW! What a vast and beautiful beach! The cliffs and the different colours of layers are amazing. I bet on a sunny day even more! They too look like they would be fun to climb and then sit and look out to the horizon and watch the waves or passing boats! Also, I thought it was unusual to see the bright teal blue paint on several of the buildings. Not your usual fare you see at seaside. Thanks again Neil hope your trainers dried quickly! Cheers! :)
Looks a lovely place, it’s lovely to see all these Cornwall videos as Ive never been yet. I must say thank you for all the lovely sea and beach shots at the end of each video , it lovely to see the sea espessially when it’s a bit lively in the winter and as I live in a landlocked . I can almost smell the sea air.
Nice vid I’ve been going to perranporth for a few years now love it it was packed last year with the hot weather we had thanks look forward to the next one 👍
😂 Oh you crack me up mate, love your Gimbals. The signature white trainers at 16:30 haha nice one 😂 You always take the time to focus in on the notice boards and stuff, the interesting bits, structures not just at floor level but above and shops windows too so we can really check out the place. Thanks for another great walk 👍
That sea looked incredible with the waves. It looked a nice day as far as January goes but i bet it was freezing. It’s nearly 29 years since I was last in Cornwall, I need to try and go again sometime soon.
It was sooooo cold 🥶🤣
Really enjoyed that, thank you! We visited Perranporth in 2016 and loved it. Looks like a couple of the cafes/restaurants have changed names since then. The Tea Room was Chrissy's Tea Room if I remember and it was fantastic. I think she retired.
Great town, looks like a very relaxed and peaceful ambience there. The beach looks amazing. Thank you for the tour, my friend. Cheers! 😍🥰👍
What a great video that was. Never seen it in January what a difference miss the place so much 😢
Thanks so much - it's a great place to visit I think
What no tidal swimming pool ? 🤣 I guess the tde would have made that a bit tricky . Great video I enjoyed it
Open your window, put a fan on and have a plate of kippers beside U while watching this walk to get the true feel !
Had my honeymoon there in 76, I remember the steak and kidney pasties from The Green Parrot. and the flock of geese that guarded the campsite!
I thought Polzeath beach was big (not sure if it’s pronounced Pol-zeh-th or pol-zeee-th) 😂 This one was huge! Enjoying the Cornwall content, Gimbal, thank you! ☺️
Thanks Pippa!
I don’t even attempt to pronounce places down here - I’d never get them right 🤣
@@GimbalWalkTV I try to pronounce things but would probably get it wrong too! The Cornish language is fascinating to me, I’d love to learn more about it!
I wondered who that big bald bloke with a gimbal was as I was sat at the Beach Rd bus stop! 😁
Nice!
Spent a great week here in 1985....but steep cliffs and kids we never went back...
It’s spectacular when the sea is rough .Hope you did not get to wet.
Was ok thankfully 🤣🤣
Roll on summer.
Great video mate, my family and I stay in Perranporth every year when we go on holiday. We absolutely love it there. My fiancée is from Derbyshire, she’s rather hardy when it comes to inclement weather too. Her grandmother was from just outside Perranporth which is one of the reasons we go there and it makes her quarter Cornish too.
Only ever been there in winter to avoid the crowds. Bet it’s horrendous in summer.
Yes very busy
I live a few miles away, It's rammed in Summer, parking impossible in sunny weather, unless you arrive early
While I agree the beach is lovely, if not a little exposed when it's windy. I have always found the town a little underwhelming, can't put my finger on it, perhaps the roads are too wide. Certainly worth a day visit.
I know what you mean
Not a lot there either
12:55 looks very open and exposed
Never been
Glad you could film it then i could see it
Could you do a walk through of the how is plymouth?
Definitely - it's on the list!
We got fined on Station road private car park for underestimating our stay, you need to put in your arrival time when paying for your parking on exiting, beautiful place though.
As a cornishman if I'm not wrong perranporth is a town not a village.
Yes correct
I put it on the video title too!
Why didn't you walk towards the north end a bit? At least to where the steps go up the cliffs on the right, you seemed to concentrate only on the town end. Good film of Chapel Rock though.
Thanks
i grew up here from a child and i see nothing but sadness. Once an beautiful village, now a bustling town full of northerners who sadly have no concept of town life
I’m a northerner
Me too! Clearly never been to Yorkshire? I grew up in Saltaire! Great video! Thank you once again. Keep them coming! x

~5:35 mark. I noticed the Browns shop sign. I likely have a connection through a surname Brown, because of my having Welsh ancestry.
How common is the surname Brown in Cornwall? 😢
You missed our favourite place, Wetherspoons.
Can’t beat a spoons
Their beef madras is quality too
Can u visit paphos Cyprus next
Funny you should say that - I've been looking at a trip to Paphos
Can u also visit alcudia please
Is there any nice gym
white porth.
It's village not a town...
Ok
Well I live in Perranporth...it's a village doesn't matter what Google says..Locals call it a village. Google Not always right only as good as what people input data .. Perhaps Google needs fact checking..
Not for me I’m afraid!
