@@hieioni3354 What are you on about? I'm pretty sure they didn't even know who he was, also it's weird to assume it's their fault the cancer ended him.
Deaths kinda a hard band to listen to cause the riffs legit make me almost feel like I’m suffocating or drowning, and it’s wild cause I can still feel it without the distortion.
funny... I'm sitting, listening to the voice of souls, thinking: "I'll go and listen to Leo's version without distortion." I go to RUclips and here is a new video))) I haven't experienced such joy in a long time.
Long story short, watching your original videos of the clean death riffs was the final thing that pushed me to start playing guitar. I now own more guitars than I should, a pedalboard that's too big for my skill level, and I probably spend about 2 hours a day playing when I can. Im still a beginner since it hasn't even been 2 years but id say I'm doing pretty good. btw, i don't remember which riff it was but one of the riffs in ur first clean death video, its now one of my alarm ringtones.
I love how this series shows that Deaths brutal and heavy music is actually quite beautiful. 1000 eyes! One of my absolute favorites!! Incredible playing sir, no distortion to hide mistakes. Every note articulated, flawless trem picking. Chuck watches on, smiling with approval!!!
Most of the songs sound more menacing without distortion than with it, it just shows you what a great writer chuck was, we will never have a Chuck in our lifetimes ever
my understanding of what good music is is that no matter what instrument, no matter what tempo (excluding ridiculous extremities) you play it, it sounds good.
Maybe someone said this already, but I love that you faded out with the last riff that Chuck ever recorded with Death. I've always considered that his swansong.
Incredible work as always. Chuck's work was truly incredible and revolutionary and I'd say almost all of Death's songs translate very well in a clean tone 🤘
Zombie Ritual, Infernal Death, Scream Bloody Gore, Pull The Plug, Left To Die, Open Casket, Flattening of Emotions, Suicide Machine, Secret Face, In Human Form, Trapped in A Corner, Empty Words and To Forgive is To Suffer still sound ominous without distortion. Amazing!
There is something with the non distorted version of these tracks. I'm sure they can show to non-listeners of Death of deathmetal genre as a whole, how beautyful the music is and how many art is within it. Great performance as always!
Death is my favorite band in their style. Forerunners. I love Chuck's vocals. They are streets ahead! Anyone told you you kind of look like Chuck. Lol.
Bravo! Because of the order you notice that there is more and more emotion in the music and I am now sitting here with goosebumps watching how Chuck's sick riffs have received another beautiful documentation for all coming generations, regardless of whether you like loud or soft music. Well done!
This video Is pure Gold and Chuck was a beast, without distortion you can really appreciate this songs even of you are not a metal fan, keep upload videos likes this man
Greetings from Chicago Leonardo! You are blessed with such amazing talent. Thank you for entertaining us! Death is one of my favorite bands now. I just wish I knew of them back in the 80’s. I loved and still love 80’s metal, but unfortunately I did not know death metal back then. My husband has broadened my metal horizons 👍🏼🤘🏼
big fan of yours and the band death, i remember in school i was in a talent show and my act was i took influence from u and i did random death riffs with a clean tone, everyone absolutely loved it
I started playing Chucks riffage at 15 back in 90 when all I had was an acoustic guitar and a love for the heavier stuff and Death was a younger band .
Thank you once again for your work, your original video is what got me into not just Death, but my now favourite sub-genre death metal. Much Love and R.I.P. Chuck Schuldiner!
11:38 That sounds so beautiful. That part has always been one of my favorite Death moments, Steves bass playing under that is so high level and fitting
The picking is exemplary. Great playing and well articulated. During Scream Bloody Gore the picking and how you had it mic'd up sounded almost like maracas, tambourines and snapping fingers. Kind of exotic in a way. I enjoyed your playing very much. That takes skill
great to see guys like you here bro.. thanks to this video I´m about to pick up my guitar sooner today than I wanted and try to learn some more stuff by Death .. great job as always \\m//
This is so good! The stuff on from Individual Thought Patterns was partly Bachesque. I didn't realize back then how much it resembled my favourite arrangements by Narciso Yepes.
Dude that was such brilliant work! If you cut an album in this style I would for sure listen to it! Just goes to show how wonderfully talented and beautiful Chuck's pieces were! \,,/ On that note I'm going to wear a Death shirt to karaoke tonight!
Absolutely loving these Death related videos ❤ Keep em coming! Theres soo much I want to learn from Chucks solos that I just cant figure out because theres not alot of videos on guitar lessons for his solos.
I love you friend, I've been following you for a while bro, about 15 years ago I had a Jackson Flying V with Floyd rose and due to financial problems I sold it at the time. I recently found the current owner by chance and he wanted the same price for it that I sold it for haha, you have inspired me to buy a new guitar, I am also a death fan!! I have several acoustic guitars but obviously it is not the same, I have in mind the ibanez rg370ahmz, in a short time I will buy it and in addition to the amplifier and pedal, thank you very much bro!! good vibes!!!! Greetings from Uruguay
I love your passion for Death and Chuck Schuldiner, can you please do something from Chuck's side project Control Denied? The Fragile Art Of Existence is a flawless piece of art, it's a shame we lost Chuck too soon, Control Denied could've really been something special if he hadn't passed away. Great video bro, RIP Chuck Schuldiner 🙏🤘🤘
Yes all of these riffs sounds so great even without distortion too. Chuck he was a great composer and guitarist as well...not in wain it's said he was the Grandfather of Death metal.R.I.P. Chuck Schuldiner .Let your name be written with golden letters on the history of metal music 🤟🎸
Chuck was truly a pioneer like no other, a shame his life got taken away so early, would have loved to see his takes on modern metal 🤘
All because of those greedy doctors who wanted more money from Chuck's successful career.
@@hieioni3354 What are you on about? I'm pretty sure they didn't even know who he was, also it's weird to assume it's their fault the cancer ended him.
@@XPGrindDeathking Chuck's mother said that the doctors wanted more money for Chuck's treatment of cancer.
@@hieioni3354 That doesn't mean it's because of him, + I don't remember ever hearing anything about the reason for his death being unpaid treatment.
@@XPGrindDeathking It was because of those doctors that Chuck's death was guaranteed. You don't hear about it because you must be younger than me.
Chuck was truly one of a kind, death is a top 5 band for me. They never made a bad album ever, the guitar playing absolutely superb.
Leprosy
Every Death record is a Masterpiece

There are few things as smooth as this man's tremolo picking.🤌
The most kick-ass surf music ever made!
