The M's hitters are usually a cure for what ailes the opposing pitching staff and today was no exception - a .161 batting average for the game, zero BB's & 15 more strikeouts. They made Pfaadt look like a star. Another tough loss for an M's pitching staff that deserves far, far better. Go M's!
Good game with the back and forth and a pitcher's duel going on.

How did Gilbert get charged with two runs? Didn’t Ty France interfere with the ball that was foul and make it a fair play? Also won the series but could have easily swept them.

Can't win them all, but they still got the series win which is what matters. I would be fine with a 3-3 homestand against 2 pretty good teams and going 2-1 to start it off helps those chances. It won't be easy against the Braves, but the Ms have been red hot lately, so who knows how that series will go

Starting pitchers pitch every five days bro
Turned the game off once the Mariners did their Mariners thing and couldn’t get a single run home win the bases loaded and no outs. I knew it was over at that moment. There was zero doubt in my mind AZ was going to find a way to at least tie in regulation and win if it went to extras, as it was clear at that moment Seattle wasn’t scoring another run. Checked out the final score on ESPN later and sure enough. Just too predictable. Seattle won’t get any separation from Texas in the division standings while Texas still struggles to find their offense, so once Texas busts out of their slump, they should start to pull away in the AL West. Houston looks like they got a good dose of medicine for their offense in their series against Colorado which may be just what they needed to finally get themselves on track for the rest of the season, and despite their slow starts in recent years, once the Stros get it going, they turn into a runaway train. I actually think Houston has a better chance of finding a way to challenge Texas down the stretch in the AL West than Seattle.
