That’s a fact! It will always be underrated because it wasn’t the Yankees, Dodgers, Cardinals, Red Sox, or Braves.. Couldn’t care less…one of the greatest examples of guts and fortitude ever. Undefeated on the road
I've been a Rangers fan since 2007, when I moved to the DFW area. I lived through the pains of 2010, 2011, 2015 & 2016. To see my team who has been clowned on for so many years finally win it all, it feels so good. November 1st, 2023 will be my favorite day of my life.
I’ve been a fan since 1979. I’ve lived through the 80s 90s and early 2000s. WE FINALLY GOT IT DONE!!! YYEEEEEAAHHH!!!
That was one of the most dominant postseason performances in a long, long time.
I may be very biased since I’m an Astros fan but Astros also had a very dominant postseason last year. Both teams were dominant

@@johnmora493super sad how a team last year got 106 wins, swept the ALDS and ALCS, and won the World Series and people don’t care because a completely different team (aside from 4 players) cheated 6 years ago. Like you can still appreciate the efforts of the people that had nothing to do with 2017 lmao
@scottwaldo No they didn't. Yes they swept the 1st two series but they didn't dominate. They had a bunch of low scoring 1 run wins. The Rangers destroyed opponents in their victories and the D-Backs were completely outclassed.
Astros did well last year, but the Rangers went UNDEFEATED on the road.

This is the world that Coach Bochy has changed in his first year in office. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

He was a lock before this season, and was already 3 years into his 5 year wait for eligibility. Hopefully he lives long enough to get enshrined!
what a season this was. if someone were to tell me at the start of the year that Bruce Bochy would come out of retirement and lead the Rangers to their first world series championship i wouldn’t believe them. congrats to texas and congrats to Bochy. the fans deserve it after the heartbreak of 2011🎉

i’m still speechless. my grandpa was a huge rangers fan and is the reason ive been lifetime rangers fan. he and i witnessed 2010 and 2011 especially and after years of heartbreak and overall failure, this is without a doubt one of the happiest moments of my life. he unfortunately wasn’t here to witness this run and moment but still, i’ve never felt such an emotional connection to a team in my life. i still can’t believe that we did it. a special team and a special moment that i will never forget. 🥹
So often teams back up the Brinks truck to buy a couple big bats, and they become embarrassing failures. But this time, it was precisely the two that Texas went out to get, Seager and Semien, who carried the team to victory. Even after losing Garcia and Scherzer, the team did not skip a beat, headlined by those two.
I loved how Semien had a wild resurgence the last 2 games. They all contributed but it was great to see him snap out of his post season slump and start crushing the ball once Garcia went down.
I will never forget this. My god I was so happy. Thank you so much Boch, CY and our players.

As a Rangers fan, I watch this regularly whenever I I need a mood boost and will forever. Thank you for making this.

As a Rangers fan since birth, honestly I don’t know if 2011 will ever be truly avenged until we beat the Cardinals in the World Series. But… this is amazing!

Everyone seemed to think The Phillies would be the winners at the WS. But I knew they wouldn't be heading to the WS at all. They were too brash and so obnoxiously assumming that they were the team to beat. Congratulations, Rangers! You conquered this season!
The Phillies relied on home runs too much and played little small ball. That was their downfall.
Paul Sewald and Christian Walker essentially lost all four games for the DBacks.

I watched, listened, and waited faithfully, and loyally for 50 + years for that moment. They refused to be denied. One of the greatest/clutch post season performances in sports history. Every player on that team contributed as needed. 💪🏻

Loved this fall classic. This whole postseason run was magical for Rangers fans.
I showed my friend the Cory Seager homerun at 5:10 I had to pull his jaw from the center of the earth. I was pretty sure his mind was halfway to the dwarf planet Pluto by the time Seager got to the dugout.

Many similarities between Game 5 of the 2023 Series and Game 5 of the 2010 Series. The latter gave the Giants their first world series title in San Francisco managed by...Bruce Bochy.

Seager's two singles in Game 5 were his only non homers in the series. He won the MVP probably because there were none more deserving (and also his defense)

Honestly probably one of the most boring World Series of all time in my opinion. There was no tension between the 2 teams, no rivalry, and the series ended in 5 games. The only actual entertaining game was game 1.
Maybe the popular teams should have won.
