The highlight of the year in baseball, if not only in MLB, was definitely the WBC final between Ohtani vs Trout! It was the stage the baseball gods had set for the "first two-way player in 100 years" and the "best player of the modern era". It happened in March, but it is remembered more vividly than when the Rangers won the championship. It was a duel that will go down in history.
The most spectacular and historic games are Shohei's doubleheader games when he completed scoreless pitch and hit two HRs in the second game. He has done something that nobody had done before in our modern baseball history.
Watching Shohei's beyond the dream documentary, his love and passion in baseball is incredible. He really makes baseball even more fun to watch really one of a kind.
Aint no way Ohtani double header day isn't at the very least top 5
*shohei ohtani
Low key, I kinda hoped they'd sneak in Ohtani striking out Trout in the WBC final at number one, even though it technically wasn't "during the season" per se.... it was such a killer moment, I wanted to see it somewhere...
Shohei Otani, pitcher (ace) and home run king (first in slugging percentage), is in the realm of the gods.
The four homers of Ohtani and his 6th win vs Rangers would’ve been cool here!

If Shohei's double header is 18th, all of higher ranks should be from post season.
What a year, from the wbc championship between Othani and trout, to a perfect game, to a walk off in the nlcs to get my team back in the series and win it, just insane
If Ohtani play in a team which can go through postseason and keep he from injury, he would have involved more crucial moments...
Shohei is the best baseball player of all time
MLB always underrated Ohtani
SHOHEI OHTANI GRAND SLAM #43 HOMERUN❤️

Doubt No.18 & should be at least Top 5 he is AL home run king
"That ball had a family!"😂 best call I've heard in a while
Cedric Mullins has 6 top 100 plays. This shows how amazing of a defender he is, despite injuries.
Funny how the WBC was way better than the Postseason this year. I love both but It's hard to deny
