The ebike looks very good but it is quite big. I've been thinking about buying the Fafrees F20 Light ebike as I need to be able to take an ebike into shops with me. I'm very stable on a moving ebike due to the gyroscopic effect of the wheels. However when I have to stop I have trouble staying upright. An ideal ebike for me would have a flywheel in the front wheel which is spun up by the battery before I get on it also during braking it would make sense to spin up the flywheel to stabilise the bike when at rest. Having the flywheel spin whilst walking with the bike would effectively provide me with a mobile handrail which would make a huge difference to my at rest/walking stability.
I have an electric bike. I am 73 years old and my health is not very good. I'm in poor. If it wasn't for my electric bike making travel uphill and down so easy, I would be stuck at home. I highly recommend an electric bike like this one.
If only it could record your voice, location, banc usage, and EEG it would have use. As it is, the 0 exercise, childrens'ride wastes battery that could be kept on grid for UK military defense usage.
ebikes still give you exercise....they have encouraged older folk to take up cycling again. wonderful on hills, that can put you off riding a normal bike. i like your exercise monitoring idea.
At nearly a £1000 for a pushbike that takes batteries,I will make do with the old mans butchers bike with a wrought iron rack over the front wheel, and the trusted Sturney Archer 3 speed rear hub......
I love your v🎉ideos, but I'm not going to buy [E-Bike] that's going to start a fire in my garage and destroy my house. Super fidelius I love everyone who's looking into free energy instead!
Nice looking bike, hope you are allowed to keep it for such a positive, informative review. Being EU compliant is some good forward thinking, so many e-scooter kids doing petty crime where I live (Ireland) that it can't be long before the e--commuter-device legal crackdown finally happens and both you and I will be grand and compliant legally. Not a criticism.. but are your handlebars backwards? the stem-facing direction looks a bit odd..
@@ProfSimonHolland Thank you. I had an electric scooter 2 year's ago. Decided to "see what it could do".... I ended up with 2 titanium plates in my forearm as the 60kg scooter landed on my arm at 46km+gravity snapped and both bones outside of my arm. So slower and lighter is more my style now! Also I love and really enjoy your work tremendously. your work in film and researching especially inspires me, who in return inspire others in life. Stay Strong and keep your passions, hobbies and love of ALL life too. If you ever want to tour Australia, I will happily be your guide!
Yay - An e-bike video, which I never would have expected to see on this channel this morning. - I was quite enthusiastic when e-bike kits came onto the market online about a decade ago, and I acquired a relatively inexpensive but reliable full front-hub motor kit (for just a week), then a full rear-hub motor kit, as well as a small 10-amp battery, which weighed in at 8 pounds, which was roughly the same price as the motor kits. After over a year of successful experiences and joy of riding it, I rebuilt the bike migrating to a full-suspension frame, which was much more comfortable to ride, especially on poorly designed and maintained road conditions. I have only watched the first minute or so of the video, but I wanted to thank you for publishing the video., and also author this comment to share some of my experiences and insight. Best Wishes to everyone, and happy riding and trails, _John_
Do you have the bar stem on the wrong way or is it a design feature?
let me check
@@ProfSimonHolland Prof, you will notice that your steering won't be as skittish if you turn t he stem around and re fit the bars.
@@ProfSimonHolland Prof did you check…don’t keep me hanging (half pun not intended)?
Thanks for the review Professor Simon.
The assembly looked a bit complicated for a non cyclist, such as myself though 🤔
Looks like a great bike - ticks all the boxes for me.
I ride regular pedal bicycles everywhere. This one looks like fun! Mahalo for this video.
Thanks for watching!
I've built a few of these myself but now working on propulsion without ejection mass with no exotic physics

great stuff, any thoughts on "The Pentyrch UFO Incident :
Cool, nice wheels...looks nice and sturdy! 👍
That looks like a real “Bad Boy” how’d he really handle Prof? 🤘
If you think you're getting some exercise on an eBike, well you're NOT. But you are getting some AIR.
e-bikes without a throttle do give you some exercise and have encouraged older folk to take up cycling again.

they are expensive but bike of this quality usually cost more than the aovo
Great review Professor. I don’t think 250 watts would cut the mustard here in Wales with all the steep hills, great looking bicycle though. 😃👍
it strangly feels more powerful than my old 250w bike....hmmmm

i have a 3 ebikes for over 4 years and never had an overheating issue. use the correct chargers and reputable batteries
Dont keep it in the house.....just in case!!
Phil
it charges fine

Awesome!
What is the top speed?
And can the breaks bring it to suden sliding stop safely?
You know, to look cool 😎?? :)
top speed 25km /hr shame it has cable disc brakes..hydrolic are best ...nice bike for the price

I would like to take a battery with me. An integrated battery makes it more attractive to steal.
I think prof said you can charge it off the bike

Hello professor
Hello there!
Those carrying racks look super useful.
They are!
