Regarding your Windforce drop, I know what you felt, as the physical bowazon is my all-time favourite character. I restarted from scratch on single-player when D2R came out and I haven't found a Windforce yet, but I found a Jah rune rather early. At the second that rune dropped, my heart missed a beat or two, realizing that I also had a Vex and two Gul runes, as well as a 4 socket +3 GMB, so I stopped all other D2R activity, cubed up the runes to Ohm, made a Faith bow and started a physical bowazon. Today she's my most versatile terror zone runner.
Nice! It takes a die hard bowazon player to make faith before enigma! I salute you 🫡 I haven’t gotten to play her much yet, but I imagine terror zones being added to the game was a great thing for the bowazon’s end game.
@@zarfen Well, I think Enigma isn't really worth it until you have a certain amount of other high-end gear. When i was a teen had a necro and my time was divided into pindle, pvp and friends baal runs x8. Pindle was great and did a great part into reaching max lvl. Servers were durable...
I started with D1 back in 1996 (or whenever), then played a ton of D2 and later D3. I was not sure if I would enjoy D2 again. Bbecause just from the combat mechanics D3 was much improved compared to D2. However, I always preferred the story, the quests, the graphic style. Or would I "destroy" my great memories of D2, by realizing that the days of D2 are long over? I decided to give the remaster a try. And it definitly was worth it! Not that I put 1000 hours into it, but I leveled a Sorc to 92, equipped her with good gear and had just a lot of fun with the game. I was surprised how well the combat system worked for me. Sure, D3 combat system is faster, more direct and in general superior. But D2 was no disappointment. The optics are great, I like the darker style a lot. The story in general is way better than in D3, the quests more interesting. Give it a try, it is money VERY well spent IMO.
im a noob in this game and i dont get much from pindle, but ancient tunnels gave me a lot of items such as shako, war boots and the +1 skills belt... I hope you do ancient tunnels runs too. i'll subbed to find out hehe! 🖤
Thank you Mumbo Jumbo! I’ve done a lot of Ancient Tunnels in the past. It’s an area I like running so I wouldn’t mind making a video about it in the future 🙂
I never see anyone do multiplayer videos of this game.. seems to mainly focus on single player. Unlike Diablo 3 which has a big focus on co op/ meta play but solo is also optional.
I personally play all Diablo games mostly solo. I enjoy regular play throughs with RL friends from time to time, but otherwise D2 is a solo game for me.
I run Pindle purely because I want some 3/20 gloves off Anya and he breaks up the time a bit better (I know Charsi is more likely to have some but it's not worth running cows for magic find unless its terrorized - though the cow king is still bugged and can't drop his own set). In 500 runs he has dropped less than 10 uniques, one was Lightsabre the rest are not worthy of note. It is very demoralizing but I'm hoping it will pay off before insanity hits.
If you really want the gloves why don’t you just “power shop” chars, like just refresh her inventory over and over don’t do cows? I guess that drives even more insanity 😅 good luck!
So I almost always run pindleskin once per game I make at the start. I’m a summon necro so I go through the portal to summon my 16 skeletons. Then I kill pindleskin bc he is already in front of me and it only takes 5 seconds. That being said, I’ve rarely gotten a good drop from him. I did however get a 160/12/40 gheeds gc a couple nights ago.
I make sometimes Pindle runs for XP. I was leveling my sorc and after 7 Runs if found a BER Rune from one zombies outside. I also get a Buls Ring from him.
CaptainRosi beat me too it, chuckled when you actually leveled a bowazon up into hell. Worth it yea? 😜 If you are looking for some ideas for videos, maybe compare like Terror Zones 100 runs compared to the same zone without the terrorize buff? Good videos again, thank you!
Tomas, thank you again for your comments! I’m happy people found it funny! It would maybe not have been “worth it” for the joke alone but I genuinely wanted a bowazon as soon as the WF dropped! 😁 That a really interesting idea, thank you! I’m still a bit of a TZ noob since they only came to single player in the last update, but idea goes straight to the “future video idea” document
Botted pindleskin couple years with 15 accounts back in the day. Checked the loot couple times a day and every time it felt like xmas. D2 itemization is awesome.
I like killing Pindle while I’m farming keys. I don’t use the WP so the portal stays open, and adding Nilathak makes the runs less tedious and more enjoyable, even though it’s less efficient. Hope I can nab a WF too one day.
Yes. Doing Nilathak on your way to Pindle is a great line up for your MF run. Takes a bit more time, but at least you won’t be so deflated when Pindle doesn’t drop anything by Nil does.

Pindleruns are best with find barbs since pindles so easy to kill with no travel time so no need for an op set or teleport to get to him and you double your drop chances with find item.
I know now but I didn’t know when doing the runs… and the exp wasn’t worth it either, so I would not increase the settings if I were to run him again :)
I seldom ever sit and grind Pindleskin, but I have a habit of killing him right at the start or end of a run. He takes negligible time [usually], so why not waste the minute?
I found many good items from Pindleskin in original D2, Mephisto drops more uniques per kill yes, sometimes even 4-5 unique items with 500 rarity, but Pindleskin has unlocked better end game items, like Buriza, Cranium Basher, Earthshifter, Deaths Web etc.
I… I had no idea about this, but a quick googling seem to agree with you. Thank you for telling me, Jeroen. Good to know so I don’t waste a bunch of (more) time because of this in the future…
I would love to level a zon but they always feel like they need too many points everywhere, and they feel like they already need all of their gear and charms waiting on them. I lose motivation. Especially bowazaons though. Without the charms, bowazons have always felt lackluster to me and their decent to good charms are so hard to get ahold of for me personally. It's a shame.
A lot of people will tell you to only farm in hell because you can find better items, but if you’re getting stuck or are so under powered that you’re not having fun it’s totally fine to farm a bit in nightmare or even normal, in my opinion. Nightmare Mephisto is “easy” and can actually drop a lot of great late game items. But if you’re able to, definitely farm for items in Hell :)
@@zarfen Thanks for the Tip.. its just that in ladder, you start from scratch so still on my way to Nightmare and maybe with my Necromancer with not so rare items haha only equip with 18 to 19 magic find make it and finally have loot.. jsut got to act 2 on nightmare mode with 150 to 200 runs on Pindleskin lol.. just not my luck i guess :D
No sorry I just started doing RUclips so I only have 3 vids :) but if you search for it there will be many guides I’m sure. Though sometimes RUclips guides focus just on the fully geared end game which isn’t so useful for playing through the game… The most important is to max raise skeleton and skeleton mastery ASAP. That alone with an act 2 offensive mercenary from nightmare (might aura) and a point in Amplify damage curse and summon resist is all you need to clear the game imo, the rest is bonus. This build can focus 100% on +skills and magic find if you’re careful. To be an efficient magic find runner you also want a high level corpse explosion for clearing big packs of monsters fast but that is mana hungry so you need a little bit of gear for it to be a “fun” way of doing it. Good luck!
Has anyone compared in a video the avg and types of drops for each boss and like farming 1000 champion packs and Unique packs. Then did a little math on it to see like is there a pattern of what has the most drops? what has the better kinds of drops? ETC. Maybe that can be your next video, I think the community would love to know if what parts of the game you farm will net you the best outcomes for gear amount and types. I know it will never truly tell you type cause the game is so random, but it's a little idea of the pacing of where you farm, a general ideas of how these things drop over time. I yes I can watch all the thousand run videos and have that info, but I'm thinking of you guys adding in champion packs and unique packs to the mix also.
Interesting idea! You have an important point in your last paragraph. Even at 1000 runs it’s too much randomness with drops to determine which is “best” (I found a windforce in my Pindleskin video but on average you will not get that rare of an item from only 1000 Pindle runs). But I definitely think it could still be an entertaining video/series. Maybe like you say focus a bit more on the pacing of runs, what it’s like, easy vs hard etc. Thanks for the input!
@@zarfen No problem at all, just helping someone like you and the community. I don't know how impactful doing rare packs and unique packs, cause I think we all know there drops will be way lower. But it would be interesting cause I'm now hitting them packs on my way to my farming spots, and wonder what is the pace of these packs. Good luck, I hope it works out well.
@@l337g0g0 I watched a video some time ago that talks about adding in champions and unique packs when farming your bosses. It's not directly a comparison like you asked for, but maybe you can find it interesting anyway: ruclips.net/video/NadhNodQgNs/видео.html
Pindle is pretty fast, so it does make some sense to chain Pindle runs with LK and/or Meph. It shouldn't add too much time to each iteration (I don't think). OTOH, if it adds significant time then you really want to run more Meph and/or LK instead...
Before I started making these videos I would always run several targets/areas in the same run because it's more variety/fun. Pindle specifically is SO easy to add to any run too since he's always in the same place and close to town/wp
What I used to do, and still do, is running Eldritch, then Shenk and teleporting back and doing Pindle. Don't know if it was worth the effort but it was much better mental health wise than doing any single boss over and over. Also, got a Ber out of some rando near the Shenk.
Lol gambling a metalgrid is nuts. Also, a 3 faceted headhunters is great for javazons that need resistances. Lots of style points as well, especially with the poison build :)
Honestly just throw Insight on the iron golem and run your merc with a Reapers Toll/Cure/(Body armor of choice/can afford). If you turn the Merc into a prayer merc too it all stacks with the aura from cure too.

I will watch this 10 times over simply for the honest statement in the beginning... "Pindleskin can drop anything, but he never drops anything."
And I keep running him for some reason! 😅
@@zarfen me too 😅🤣😂🤣😂
I loved the bowazon intermission lmao
I’m glad to hear that Zia! When watching the whole video before uploading I was unsure if maybe it was a bit too off-topic for a loot video but I didn’t want to cut it since I actually leveled a bowazon just for it so I kept it in :P
Love your vids! I hope there are more coming!!!
Thank you so much, Justin!
There are! I went on a short vacation for a few days after uploading them, with no new content ready. I did not expect them to “blow up” like this. I hope to upload in a couple of days to keep the momentum going! :)
I was trying to get Winforce for the past 2 weeks on SP players1 but stormlash dropped instead. I still don't have windforce as of today.
It’s tough looking for a specific item in D2. Hope one drops soon!
When i was a teen had a necro and my time was divided into pindle, pvp and friends baal runs x8. Pindle was great and did a great part into reaching max lvl. Servers were durable...
Headhunter goes pretty good on a javazon with facets. Not as much damage as a 4 socket monarch, but you keep some res
Oh nice, I like the javazon. I need a few good facets to make that though but I’ll keep it in mind!
Man, these videos make me want to buy the remaster and dive deep into d2 again
I’m very happy (and very sorry, it’s a time sink! 😜) that you got that feeling from the videos! It’s a great remaster imo
The terror zones and sunder charms made it fun again
I have played this game for 23 years and never found a Windforce in SP. I got one on a trade during ladder. Killer bow.
the bowazon level up in the middle of a 1000 runs was wild
im a noob in this game and i dont get much from pindle, but ancient tunnels gave me a lot of items such as shako, war boots and the +1 skills belt...
Leveling that amazon after the Windforce was epic. It's exactly how i play 😂
Thanks! The drawback is that I sometimes lose interest halfway through and end up with a bunch of characters abandoned in early nightmare 😅
@@zarfen yes, I'm right there with you
Haha I like that you just had to build an Amazon for the Windforce! 😄 oh I miss D2 in many ways!
I also got my Windforce from Pindle. But that's about it. But still ... I also love the Bowazon, so I was hyped about that drop.
Windforce is something special. Though I have never tried ‘Faith’ bowazon myself.
@@zarfen me neither (there was always a rune missing), but the Windforce reminds me of the 'old days' (long before D2R). Just loving it.
That seems like a good way to farm him. Adding him to something you’re already doing so it’s just a bonus.
I make sometimes Pindle runs for XP. I was leveling my sorc and after 7 Runs if found a BER Rune from one zombies outside. I also get a Buls Ring from him.
Unexpected great item drops are the best! :D
I remember my 99 bow zon with that homing arrow thing for pvp….it was the bees knees until the enigma came out. Yes 20 years ago lol
Ps… your dedication to farm is otherworldly
Don't stop making content. You'll be big soon.
Thank you, Nick! That is such a nice comment, I will try my best 🙂
That a really interesting idea, thank you! I’m still a bit of a TZ noob since they only came to single player in the last update, but idea goes straight to the “future video idea” document
I will always have respect for Pindle runs. He dropped me a zod rune before, and I haven't got a better drop since.
Damn! I wonder if I will ever find a zod.
Beaufort's glory ride. Gorgeous!
Botted pindleskin couple years with 15 accounts back in the day. Checked the loot couple times a day and every time it felt like xmas. D2 itemization is awesome.
lol, Love the Windforce side quest stuff...
Nice! Glad you liked it.
I like killing Pindle while I’m farming keys. I don’t use the WP so the portal stays open, and adding Nilathak makes the runs less tedious and more enjoyable, even though it’s less efficient. Hope I can nab a WF too one day.
I like that idea!
Just FYI, if you’re on Resurrected, the portal doesn’t close if you get the wp anymore 🙂
@@zarfen Oh I'm not on Resurrected yet but I plan to start with the next season. Thanks for the tip!
@seth8858 ah gotcha! I think it’s a great remaster, def worth it if you still play d2 :)
Yes. Doing Nilathak on your way to Pindle is a great line up for your MF run. Takes a bit more time, but at least you won’t be so deflated when Pindle doesn’t drop anything by Nil does.
That homunculus is pretty sweet.
Damn i miss finding loot in Diablo 2. My favorite game of all time 👍
You find a lot of nothing but then when something awesome drops it’s a GREAT feeling!
I wonder are these runs single player with max players or online 1p only?
Great video makes me wanna start a new bowzone instantly
Thank you!! Bowazons are one of my favorite builds
@@zarfen can i just say i am astonished by your dedication to the channel and willingness to interact with your fans. Hope you continue your great videos, love them!
@@Austrian9876 thank you so much for the nice comment!
It’s fun to interact when the comments are filled with a nice mix of D2 nostalgia, loot stories and kind supportive messages.
I want to do many more videos, hopefully this is just the beginning for the channel :)
Pindleruns are best with find barbs since pindles so easy to kill with no travel time so no need for an op set or teleport to get to him and you double your drop chances with find item.
I never did much running with barbs or any melee character. Might have to give it a go soon!
Did you change the game dificulty for Piddle? You know it doesnt affect him?
I know now but I didn’t know when doing the runs… and the exp wasn’t worth it either, so I would not increase the settings if I were to run him again :)
u have taken the 4 bows drop from mephisto to serious with the amazon :D
Haha good catch! Hadn’t thought of that myself until you said it :D
I’m not sure if this was ever confirmed but I feel like I was getting a lot better drops from Pindle around when D2R came out as opposed to now.
I seldom ever sit and grind Pindleskin, but I have a habit of killing him right at the start or end of a run. He takes negligible time [usually], so why not waste the minute?
I think that’s how I’ll “use” him going forward. Throw him in as a bonus cause you never know you might get lucky
once several years ago using a barbarian I earned a spell plus a skill for mage, I was in difficult nightmare
bro made a video in a video
tnx for a good stuff!
I’m glad you liked it!
Hi! Increasing player count doesn't have any effect on drop rates from Pindle, right? At least not according to Silospen. Or am I missing something?
I… I had no idea about this, but a quick googling seem to agree with you.
Thank you for telling me, Jeroen. Good to know so I don’t waste a bunch of (more) time because of this in the future…
@@zarfen you're welcome! It makes farming superuniques so much faster. Have fun!
wait are you sure about that @bronchoped1? Isn’t it only super uniques that don’t benefit from higher players settings?
No kidding! Thanks and you too! :)
Found me dweb doing a quick 10 runs the other day. Almost perfect also!
Are uniques gameable in this version of Diablo?
Yes! But there’s only a 1/2000 chance for a unique when gambling
Oops. Just saw you wrote gameable and not gamble-able, not sure what you mean unless it was a typo
Metalgrid can be used with lacerator for the amp dmg
That’s really clever! I only though about auras, not items with % chance to proc. Seems really powerful! Thanks for sharing
windforce is also in D1 but deadly hunter in my opnion is best for rouge in d1 with the %damage vs demons
should you only loot in Hell difficulty? Im still getting there with my Ladder character
I hope you find some upgrades soon!
@@zarfen oh do you have a video of a necromancer build? most videos are more on Sorcerers and paladins.. verry few summoning heroes lol
No sorry I just started doing RUclips so I only have 3 vids :) but if you search for it there will be many guides I’m sure. Though sometimes RUclips guides focus just on the fully geared end game which isn’t so useful for playing through the game…
The most important is to max raise skeleton and skeleton mastery ASAP.
Good luck!
Can you give a list of what he CANNOT drop? Is it too long?
Tyrael's might, Arachnid mesh, and Azurewrath.
@@zarfen That's it? Those three things? Or those are just a few? If that's it, then that's not too bad.
of course a druid item dropped run 420
It's not directly a comparison like you asked for, but maybe you can find it interesting anyway:
ruclips.net/video/NadhNodQgNs/видео.html
Thank you, Good luck sir.
@@zarfen I think I tried this too! Pindle started dropping off simply because there was almost no yield compared to the other runs...
@@fredrichardson9761 hehe yeah. Like I said at the beginning of the video: he can drop almost everything, but he never drops anything 😁
@@zarfen Hah!! Well said!
funny my amazon is setup with legacy gear also, with act 5 merc with grandfather and Arkaine's Valor
Can't believe you gambled a metalgrid. Very nice
Absolutely crazy! My reaction in the video under-sells how rare that is for sure
What I used to do, and still do, is running Eldritch, then Shenk and teleporting back and doing Pindle. Don't know if it was worth the effort but it was much better mental health wise than doing any single boss over and over. Also, got a Ber out of some rando near the Shenk.
There are some items that trio can’t drop but definitely a solid routine. Variety, static locations, quick to do.
Don't know how res is but in og d2 they did pindle for runes and a bot did it not a person
Your videos are great. Thank you
Thanks! I’m glad you like them
Witchwild upped is the best strafe bow in the game, behind Faith of course. That's a level 20 magic arrow on it.
Lol gambling a metalgrid is nuts. Also, a 3 faceted headhunters is great for javazons that need resistances. Lots of style points as well, especially with the poison build :)
Casually leveled up a bowa in the middle of a droop compilation video.

Honestly just throw Insight on the iron golem and run your merc with a Reapers Toll/Cure/(Body armor of choice/can afford). If you turn the Merc into a prayer merc too it all stacks with the aura from cure too.
Sounds like a solid setup, thanks! I have a pretty high roll reapers already too (though, not eth…)
I haven’t tried it myself yet since we got ‘cure’, but cure+prayer+insight merc seems like a lot of healing :)
@@zarfen The other alternative to make an "invincible" Golem is an Eth Sacred Armour Fortitude, but that is pricey of course
Also at that point you're better off throwing it on the Merc itself
Could do Smoke or Stone depending how many runes you have? I'm sure smoke would suffice.
