I'm not a truck driver but this type of videos relax me relax relax thank you good man
Ain't no feelin' like Petermobilin' is there brother? Great vid and thx. Twilight Zone, Murphy NC.
I’m almost too old to drive again, but boy does that CAT lugging make ya want to burn some diesel. 👍🇺🇸
Keep on truckin'. Always loved trucks that sound like this.
Love that sound and your smooth shiftin, also recognized you were on Dodd Rd kinda old stomping grounds. Drove a 98 379 Pete with Cat 3406E and 18 speed for 15 years. Miss the driving but not the other BS. Call North Idaho home now so recognize where your at in your other videos. Thank You
Man that sounds soooooo good. Love to hear that. I drive part-time, took a test drivr for a potential new part-time farm hauling grain in a Pete. Sure was nice!!!
Nice sounding engine!!
Hey driver Thanks for sharing! Nice bit of driving there. The ol Pete’s in perfect form also.😁🤘😎
Music to my ears. i can sleep to this
That sound is perfect
I have missed that sound welcome back shifty 379
Hell yeah! Sounds great man!
Sounds Puuuuuuurfect
The cows don't care that 700 horses are stampeding by their feed trough. Nice truck.
I miss riding on the roads hearing real truck's. My first truck is going to be a old truck with a real engine and none of that def shit
Makes me want to head out west
I didn't understand pulling in to the fueling station without getting fuel and then leaving. But it's a nice truck and a nice video. Keep them coming.
Haha thanks, I just cut that part out of the video back when I wasn't as good at editing videos.
@@Shifty379 your welcome. Editing videos sometimes can be a pain in the butt. That's why I stopped making YT videos.
i wish they sounded like this on American truck sim
Someone asked me to use audio from one of my videos to make a sound pack for ATS. I haven't tried it out myself
👍💪🚛
Hello
What state?
Thats a stock 3406e ? Or its has a tune on it ? Sounds good
A stock cat hardly smokes at all
@@xBLITZxMARINEx true in certain aspects, depends on your fuel filters, I’ve been a diesel mechanic for years and the 3460e, well let’s just say that the engine wouldn’t be on if smoke wasn’t coming out of the stacks
How many hp is a 3406 e vs b?
@@morganmoore1592 what about 12.7 I'm not trying to compare but can I get it to sound similar to this
What angle of turn are on those stacks on the top?
45*
Do you get much hassle for having straight pipes?
I haven't yet but I try not to run the Jakes where it's posted prohibited
@@Shifty379 very true. Great sounding truck!
How do you like the E cat vs the Detroit
The way we have this Cat setup, power is no comparison. I wouldn't mind another Detroit if it didn't seep oil out so bad as the last one did. The last Detroit we did have running petty well at 525.
@@Shifty379 okay cool, just bought a E cat t800. currently drive a 14L Detroit so excited to run the new truck see how it does
@@Shifty379 I have a 12.7 and I had it straight piped on a Columbia. Had to put back the muffler because I was pulling Amazon loads going into neighborhoods here in New England. I miss the sound of it but I didn't have a egt gauge so I didn't get on it hard. I need a tune because it's stock 430/470 1500tq. I would love 550 1800tq.
This truck sounds so angry 😡
Don't tease me but how can I make a 12.7 sound somewhat close to this
You can't. Detroits don't sound like CATs. They all have their own note. Enjoy your detroit for what it is, they sound great too. A set of a straight pipes will go a long way.
What serial number E model you got under the hood ?
It's a 5EK
Idk where this is but I feel like it’s Washington
Close to the tri cities
